Thanks :). I have a synchronise timid espeon. Elena90 said something about like having accelgor at 200 hp and use final gambit to see if Xerneas is 30-31 hp ivs. Also smeargle at 129 speed stat. If Xerneas outspeed it then it is 30-31 haha

If Xerneas faints from the Final Gambit, then it probably doesn't have 31 HP IV's.. I think that's what they meant by it.
 
Hmm I have a question I know how to check which ivs are flawless on a pokemon how would I be able to check a legendaries ivs that was already caught or the ones that aren't flawless

Haha alrighty I'll try my best, thanks for your story, I needed the motivation.
 
What I would do is breed/hatch a Throh with Mold Breaker and breed it until it has 23 Speed IV (or lower) and 18 Attack IVs (or lower) with a minus attacking nature. Make sure it learns Seismic Toss and

Race Candy until Level 100, (Since you bred it, it'll have your OT/ID/SID which means it'll always listen to you)

If done correctly Throh's attack should be 200 while his speed should be 118 (Modest Xerneas has 119)

If Attack ended up being lower than 18 IVs or the Speed IV ended up being lower than 23, then you can always EV train it until it has 200 attack and 118 speed at level 100

Once you start the battle, if Throh's ability (Mold Breaker) activates before Xernea's Fairy Aura then you know Throh is fater, so reset.

If Xerneas ends up being faster then go for the Seismic Toss, if Xernea's HP bar turns yellow from green then that Xerneas has a HP stat of 200 or less. Reset.

After you used Seismic Toss and Xerneas' HP bar is still greed then that means it has 201 HP

Afterwards use Storm Throw on the Xerneas. With 200 attack a Storm Trow should never do 50% to a Xerneas with 31 IVs in Defense. If it fainted then the Xerneas had a Defense IV lower than 31.

Also, depending on the Throh special defense and HP, you can always calc what a Moonblast will do to it, if it ends up doing less damage than the min roll then its Special attack isn't 30 (or 31, but we're not looking for a Xerneas with 31 special attack IV. :O)

For Special Defense I leave it up to chance. ._.

Edit: Obviously this for catching a Modest Xerneas, which imo is the better nature. But if you want a Timid one then just EV train the Throh until it has 129 Speed. :o
 
Anybody have a male honchkrow and/or male noivern with boomburst? IV's/Nature/Ability don't matter. Looking to borrow these to pass down some egg moves. I'll give you at least a spitback from my thread if needed.

I asked about what I should masuda earlier, and although the majority said Duskull, Dark Ray got me thinking about the ability. Oh, and Premier > Dream, looks better and Frisk possibility

So what is the best ability for a dusclops? Pressure or Frisk? I can understand Frisk to scout out sets, or would Pressure be better for PP stalling?


I'm probably going to just end up breeding a duskull with Frisk and being happy if I ever manage a flawless shiny baby, regardless of ability. T_T

I mean really, why couldn't the RNG wait until I was breeding something useful, rather than trying to get IVs from the bug group to the grass group?
