Also I am hoping you choose dive ball :)
I quickly skimmed through pokecheck and 4/5 shiny cobalions are in a quick ball. (The others are most commonly in dive or luxury balls.)
So quick ball would be way too main stream imo.

yeah, going for dive ball this time :) I still have not caught cobalion on both B2 and W2, so I have options :)
Going for Naive HP Ice this time, just like I did with Terrakion and Virizion earlier today :)

Yeah thought that wrong ok so how many people exactly have a skarmory with defog thinking of starting a breeding project for one
Edit: I'm asking because if a lot of people have it which I don't think is true then I will try to breed for a couple
 
I was breeding relaxed larvitars and I got a shiny one with the IVs (31/31/17/31/31/31) with those IVs it has 7 less defense points at level 50 than one with a 31 defense iv, do you guys think that's alright, or should I use a flawless non shiny one I bred?

Relax boosts Defense, but you have one with imperfect Defense IVs...seems to me like you should use the non-shiny one. But, I'm a perfectionist, so you may not want to listen to me :P
 
huge request dont have much in these games competitively but does anyone have a 6iv ditto that they have lying around in any of there gen4 games that they can trade me if not breeding will take longer:(

Yeah I'm a perfectionist too, I normally wouldn't even consider it but i've just never actually bred a shiny before haha

Not sure if you're aware or not, but unless you're RNG breeding having a 6 IV Ditto won't help you very much in a Gen IV game, the breeding mechanics were not as nice back then (no Destiny Knot breeding). I only point this out because you don't offer RNG pokes in your thread.

Does anyone have a spare Mandibuzz and/or Tornadus they can trade to my White cartridge? I don't care about the stats, IVs, etc.; any random one will do.
 
So I got this Calm HP Ground Articuno with Tailwind, Icy Wind and Defog which I RNG abused on my SS game, but how can I make it usefull in Gen 6? Can't seem to find movesets for this gen's metagame.

Try using pokecheck :) I mean, if it's just for dex purposes :)

yeah I knew there was some different stuff about the mechanics which is why it is much more difficult I probably need to start breeding stuff from gen 4 to add to the stuff

The only feasible way of getting Pokemon with good IVs and Natures prior to Gen 6 is through RNG abuse. Because the breeding mechanics in Gen 6 changed it meant that pokemon could be bred rather than RNG abused. If you want to breed things, you should to do it on X/Y.
