The main reason I like Dusknoir is because it has been valuable in Nuzelockes and competitive play.(it actually can be viable in ou)
Woah mate, now I'm definetly not going to stop you from liking any Pokémon - that'd completely go against the point of this thread - and I'm not exactly the best authority on gen 6 competitive out there, but something tells me that Dusknoir is probably not OU viable.

I like Lanturn, which isn't on this list, but the anglerfish irl has always seemed really cool to me. Imagine we get a mega Lanturn that throws the cuteness out the window and makes it look like a real anglerfish (google it, it's pretty scary).

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Substitute
- Infestation
- Protect
Jus' sayin...

Maractus is amazing, it's a dancing cactus! The only gen 5 pokemon I like, tbh, and can really kick some GRASS! (Geddit?)

Flareon is a dangerous mofo after a Flame Charge and Guts! My favorite Eeveelution, along with Glaceon.

I love Beautifly, I caught a shiny one in Eterna Forest, back in Diamond. Vivillon is cool too, but Beautifly is OG cool butterfly (sry butterfree.)

I really have a soft spot for Sigilyph. At first, when I saw it, I was like, "WTF is this thing?" But I've since learned about it's wonderful, awesome competitive niche, and I've loved the flying totem pole ever since.

I suppose Porygon-Z also falls into this niche, although I'm not really sure how popular/unpopular it is. The thing's freaking absurd, with a sky-high SpA and Adaptability. I love it's aesthetic, too; the idea of a hacked computer program Pokemon really appeals to me.

As far as popular Pokemon I dislike goes, one word: Ferrothorn. I have some disdain for Lucario as well, but nothing can compare to the raw, burning hatred I hold in my heart for the metal Natto monster. If you don't have a Fire-type move, you're essentially fucked against him; Fighting moves almost always hit him on his absurdly strong Defense side (except for Focus Miss, but it's...well...Focus Miss), and he's neutral to/resists almost everything else. If he's in a rain team, he's nigh-unkillable. He was everywhere in Gen 5; with the ubiquity of rain, his presence almost entirely dominated the scene. There's just nothing that can keep my hatred of him in check.

Porygon-Z is awesome. A lot of the gen 4 evolutions get a lot of hate though for some reason. Tangrowth I understand though. That thing is ugly as hell (not that Tangela is better) and is annoying to take out.

I bloody love Porygon-Z you have no idea. Heck it's my overall favourite Pokémon.
It's dex entries, design, concept, evolution method and where you find the Dubious Disc in DPPt just evoke so much personality and backstory to me and I love that.

Whoo, added 2nd part to this, popular pokemon that you don't like :D
Volcanion.

So I just read a post that says I have to give more details. Sigh...

Volcanion's artwork, even if it's not official, sucks. It really puts Volcanion as Heatran's ugly cousin. Its in-game sprite is better tho. But yeah. I feel like Volca's ugly "ring" on its back screwed all over it. Maybe if it had some sort of cannons instead of that…

Diagla and Palkia. People always complain that they're "too complicated", but to me that just makes them cooler. They're very awe-inspiring and their "complicated" designs enforce their positions as deities that control aspects of reality.

Another Pokemon that I adore that never gets any love is Cradily. It has a cool design, unique typing, and it's a fossil. Back in Emerald I always used one in the Battle Frontier because of how bulky it was and could always heal itself with Giga Drain (this is back when I knew shit about competitive, mind you). Also, I always loved how its shiny colors were Lileep's normal coloration and vice versa.

Wormadam and mothim

A lot of people dislike them, but they are so amazing. Wormdam-g for example, 6.5kg, a worm AND IT LEARNS FISSURE. How metal is that!?!?! 310kg torterra cant, 360kg aggron cant. But yet a small worm can!
Mothim has really cool wing patterns and its shiny form actually looks like a shiny (yeah, im looking at you gengar).
I like all the quiver dancing moths, both masquerain and beautifly have been stars in a playthrough once.

There are also a load of unnoticed but cool mons, stuff like tropius or girafarig. They should get megas, not mainstream pokes like kazam or lucario (banette and mawile were good, irrelevant pokes given a big niche)

Edit: Yeah, duskonior is competitive garbage, it is outclassed by its pre evo, that it absolute trash

This thing is hated for its typing, ability, and speed.

*facepalm*

I have never, to this day, heard ANYONE but you say Dialga and Palkia are too "complicated".

Lol, I have never heard anyone say that they're not.

The thing with this thread is that "unpopular" is really quite trivial in Pokémon. Popular Pokémon are obvious and so the topic of popular Pokémon you like which others don't is a better topic in theory, but everyone will just say that they don't like Scizor because everyone and their Grandma used it back in gen 4's shoddy battles, but unpopular Pokémon aren't really a thing because there will always be a considerable fan base for a Pokémon. I try to see the good in every Pokémon, but there's a few of the gen 6 Pokémon I don't like. In particular, this one:

Yeah, sue me, but Goomy isn't a Pokémon which appeals to me... It isn't really very cute, and it's not even that unique or quirky either; it's just kind of there, and nothing about the design appeals to me, really. It almost looks like Gen 1 Pikachu - 2 large cheek-circles, some long ears and quite a chubby body. It also has a similarly shaped mouth and eyes. I love chubby Pikachu, but this kind of seems like a rip off of him -- moreso than Dedenne, imo! Just because it's not Electric-Type, doesn't mean it's not a Pika-clone... but look how popular it is.

Raikou is extremely overlooked. And its not just by the fans. By Game Freak themselves.
In 2nd gen, Entei got a movie, Suicune also got a movie AND a game, and what did Raikou get? An anime special?
Raikou wasn't featured in a movie until the Zoroark one, and that was with its fellow trio members. Poor Raikou never got any love.

"Eww, look at this! It's an ice cream pokemon! He he he!"

Yeah, laugh at it my friend, laugh as much as you can, before this menace chill your heart and take away all the joy and happiness in you. Oh, I can't see your cool and awesome dragons anywhere, probably they popped out from their Poke Balls and run for their miserable lives as they first heard that this thing is mentioned. Don't even bother calling your lovely Rotom-W, as Freeze Dry makes it turn into a big block of ice, puts in the monster's coke then the monster drinks it. Try to warm with Heatran? Water Pulse cools it and mocks it with confusion Homever, this thing has no interest on your silly daily OU pokemon, for It has only one purpose. To Destroy the legends!

That's right. There is a reason why "mighty" Kyogre lurks in deepest places in water, Groudon is behind the mountains, Rayquaza is far above the sky. Palkia is so scared of this thing that it can't even come to the Earth! Instead it tried to protect itself by sending it's brother Dialga, but despite controlling the time, Dialga can't forget the bite of cold that made its legendary armour torn apart. Arceus first thought of putting this cold storm of death into the Underworld, but such a thing would be too cruel to even Giratina, so instead it used its every bit of power for banishing It into the shape of something looks innocent enough for not to make humans regret for living at the first sight. Many trainers that not worthy enough to understand It's real potential, got frozen in cold anger the we humble mortals know as "Snowstorm" or "Blizzard". All hail The One that universe chills when It's real name is spoken: Vaniluxe!

I also like Solrock. It has this really cool typing and ability as well as movepool that you'd expect would be a+ Pokemon while it's let down by its base stats. I use it in NU. It can run Rock Polish/Baton Pass and shit and sports a good STAB Zen Headbutt with Stone Edge and Earthquake too. Tate and Liza fucked me up with Sunny Day and Solarbeam. I also like how it actually represents sun but isn't a fire type.

Diggersby.
I find this Pokémon to be cool as hell: pretty badass desing, interesting typing, powerful ability and a nice movepool. Also it breaks the concept that early routes Normal types can't be useful for something other than being HM Slaves. Yet it's hated for one thing and one thing alone: a bunch of scrubs spamming "Diggersby tho" everywhere.
What a shame.
