Intimidate lets Gyarados set up easier and support its team with minimal effort; also good to fire off prior to derping your typing going Mega. It does have the potential to activate Contrary, Defiant, and Competitive though.
Moxie is if you're afraid of puny Wigglytuffs really ballsy and you're setting up a snowball-style sweep akin to Fiery Dance + QD Volcarona sweeps - the manliest off all sweeps. You can also come in, have Gyarados pick off a weak foe, and Mega to keep the attack boost as it's applied as a direct stat boost, not an ability modifier.

Aren't there any threads (analysis) of other pokemon on the 6th gen? Like Swallow and Steelix because for some reason I can't find them anywhere. I've tried searching for it on google and on this community and I can't find it.

I guess google and the internet is not my friend like some people say it is. (No offense)

I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just a little disappointed that the internet is not working for me right now. Plus, I'm just a little stressed out.

Look for the Pokémon tag and then the Pokémon's name. ie [Pokémon] Gengar
And for VGC 2014 or Smogon Doubles sets, try respective forums in the same Competitive section :P

Thank you for trying to help, ProjectTitan. But I already looked there as well. I clicked on them to look again and the analysis of the swallow and Steelix are still not there, unfortunately. :(

I'm guessing they haven't made threads about them yet. But don't worry. It's the thought that counts. ;)

Yeah, not every Pokémon is covered yet; its all still being worked to eventually get everything onto Gen 6 analysis on-site like Gen 4 and Gen 5. You might have to be creative on less commonly used Pokémon like Steelix. ;)

That's true. I guess I can use my creativity skills to create movesets and strategies just to exercise my creativity skills. ;)

If you're talking about me as that someone then I said try using that first, not that it was an end all for searching. I also said that SQSR was the place for asking about general team information if that failed.

As for Gen 6 analysis most of those are dead or didn't get approved or just don't exist/not completed yet. Either they didn't change much (besides things like Bold over Calm nature) or they're busy analyzing things in higher tiers. You can ask around here if anyone has any experience with those Pokemon and when all else fails mix and match your own sets through trial and error.

Or ask ProjectTitan313 for his wonky sets.

Oh no, I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to someone else who is not a member on smogon. (Someone who literary said "The Internet is your friend") But thank you for the advice. :)

No, that's fine. I just remember suggesting you use key words one time to help search, but yes whoever said that sweeping statement should be cut with a spoon.

As for Swalot I use both Bold and Calm with Sticky Hold still, it pretty much functions the same as it did in previous gens and the only difference would be EV spreads. I also use it as a status inflicter and Liquid Ooze is just as good for Giga Drain, Leech Seed users.

I never got to use Steelix for about 3 gens, so I can't offer any advice on that one.

Looking for the Autumn & Summer Deerling variants. I have the Winter one and I'm trying to get all the forms.
I'll trade a Winter one for either of the two forms I don't have!
 
I'm looking for some of the hardest to find breedable pokemon ever, hidden ability treecko and hidden ability mudkip. I am willing to give back the pokemon after I have bred a single hidden ability egg clone (not game clones, they're just bred so quickly and so much that it feels like the clone factories from star wars) of both the treecko and the mudkip.

Msg me on the forums if you want to trade.

Also if you want something in return I hve a lot of duplicate IV friend safari dittos from someone's friend safari that I catch them in when I need to.
I label each ditto's IVs by putting it as their name.
