*Does a dance for getting Shiny Pokemon*

Gotta brag! Just got my very first 2 SV Shiny hatches!

Fletchling (F) - Adamant - Gale Wings - 31.31.31.24.31.31 - Nicknamed Firebird
Fletchling (F) - Adamant - Gale Wings - 31.31.31.08.31.31

Still looking for TSV 1089 and 4045 for my best 2 eggs. Posted a message to people with those TSVs on reddit; one looks like it was active recently, so I have hope! Also, if anyone here has those TSVs, let me know! :)

How do I find out my TSV, out of curiosity?

is this real? and if so are they considered legit? and does this work in gen 6 as well?

It only works in Generation IV due to how the game forced the opposite gender. Cute Charm still has the effect of finding opposite gender in Gen V and VI, but it has the standard shiny rate.

doesnt mater just found out you have to have an certain trainer id as well and you have to know how to rng and I cant rng and I could never learn it either so that sucks oh well:(

Gen 4 RNG isn't difficult. I personally find it easier than Gen 5 RNG.

RNGing that ID only took two tries, one of which was calibrating the delay.
it was for me I couldnt rng in 5th gen I understand how it works to a degree and spent more then 50 hours in elarning it al for nothing so I gave up luckily now breeding competetive pokemon is doible for people like me so I can at least get ssome gooed pokemon

As it turns out, I have the polar pattern vivillons! Is this a popular pattern? In other words, if I were to iv breed these and give them away, who would be interested? :P

I'd say they're semi-common. They're actually my pattern, for example. The most common (just based on my experience: I've been trading random things on GTS for vivillon just to see what I get) are modern and elegant, followed by high plains and garden (this could just be my experience though), then most of the others (including polar), and then followed by the ultra rares, things like monsoon and ocean (which people usually restart their games just to get these patterns).

did you make use of the RNG thread? I learned how to RNG in 4th gen in one afternoon back in the day. Just learned how to on 5th gen and holy cow is it easy. I wouldn't even call it RNG lol, feels more like SR
