This may seem a worry one shouldn't have at this point in time as Diamond/Pearl are the only Pokemon games currently out on DS, but I'm worried in the possibility of Nintendo releasing another game and being unable to transfer Diamond/Pearl Pokes to the new game without buying a new DS.
I know it is possible for me to find someone with a DS and use theirs to perform the transfer, but mind you I live in small town mid-western America without any friends who have a DS from the small number of friends I do have.
I'm glad Emerald/Sapphire/Ruby/FireRed/LeafGreen can be inserted into the DS and you're able to Pal Park them using the same DS without aid or requirement of any other device, but in the possibility of Game Freak developing a new Pokemon game that may become much more difficult thus giving the idea that Pokemon you breed/set up in Diamond/Pearl will have to be transfered to the new game or they'll be useless down the line.
Any other solution to this dilemma besides lobbying for Nintendo to allow WiFi storage boxes with Username/Password setups? It's a frightening prospect -- to be unable to transfer the Pokemon I've worked hard on since Ruby/Sapphire.
