I personally think the luxury ball matches better, but whatever you thnk looks best is what matters (I'll post the pictures so everyone can see in a minute).

Was it a newbie? Make sure you're clear with what you're asking for with newer members, often they have only a slight idea of what IV breeding is. I think most people here would assume you mean a 5-6 IV when you say competitive, but it's always good to be specific.
 
Looking for 5 IV Timid Vivillon patterns that I don't already have. I can offer these from my region:

Ability: Shield Dust (can come with ability capsule attached if this is a problem)

As of right now, the Vivillon I have are as follows: Continental, Polar, Garden, Monsoon, Savanna, Icy Snow, Archipelago, High Plains, Modern, Ocean, Jungle and Marine. I'm looking for the remaining six Vivillon patterns which are Meadow, Tundra, Elegant, Sandstorm, Sun, and River, preferably in matching pokeballs. If my polar one doesn't interest you, CMT for anything I can breed in return for yours, thanks.

Not really new at all, roughly 100 posts (if that means anything). He was asking for a flawless (5IV) pokemon so I assumed he would be giving me a similar quality one. But yea I'll definitely make it more clear in future trades
 
Is there anyone who can help me find my Emerald SID? Just so you know, I have never caught a shiny on there. Is there any way you can use an AR or something to figure it out through a random Pokemon caught through the game?

Yeah, you need to transfer it up to XY and trade it to someone who can check for you. Well, at least I think it works like that.

Try asking BriarRose to help you (or maybe .com or Tatertot or Elena90 or Esmeya etc.).

I have a Garchomp with (I'm not home so I'll have to PM you the nature) x/31/x/31/31/31 Ivs but I'll have to look once more :) I'm looking at that Eevee though.
 
alright so i know bug bite is a gen 5 move tutor for scyther/scizor, but ive been looking into it, and cant get it as an egg move?
1. catch caterpie, level it up to 15 and teach it bug bite; then evolve to butterfree
2. breed it with a female scyther, and i checked they r in the same egg group; Bug

I am trying to clarify isnt it possible?

When you can't pass it down as an EM, you can't pass it down as an EM, by the same logic, Talonflame gets close combat and Garchomp Dragon Dance

Just because a parent in the same egg group gets it, it does not mean another poke in the egg group can get it.

Last week my 3DS was stolen. It contained my physical copy of Pokemon X and my downloaded copy of Pokemon Y. Most importantly, it contained the Pokemon that I've been collecting and battling with for years now.

I held onto hope that it would be returned but I've accepted now that isn't going to happen. Yes, I know, Pokemon are "just" bits of data but anyone who has played these games for an extended period of time will know just how much they mean to you. These are the guys that have been by my side through numerous games.

So I've lost my 3DS, both of my games and all of my Pokemon. Seven years of Pokemon down the drain. Needless to say, I'm feeling pretty down at the moment.

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I've since replaced my DS and switched my Network ID to the new console so I can download Y again. Of course this means that I have absolutely nothing on my games. If you have ever had a trade with me in the past or if you can help me now I would really appreciate it. I'd like to try and help though I can't offer much at all. I've only got X today as well.

When I figure the transfer system, I've got some legendaries you could have though these aren't too special.

I can probably help in the legendary and or rare pokemon department with the exception of Deoxys, Shaymin, Darkrai, and Keldeo.

You seem to not understand what an egg move is. You keep asking questions here about move inheritance, and we all keep pointing you to serebii's pokedex. Why don't you do a little research on your own before asking these questions again?

Very, very easy. It's probably the best introduction to RNG that you can have, IMO.
