My Team:
Team Breakdown:
Dragonite (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Extreme Speed
- Fire Punch
- With Multiscale Dragonite has excellent bulk and can easily get off a Dragon Dance. The Lum Berry is for in case my opponent tries to Burn or Paralyze him before a Dragon Dance. It is also there for when the Outrage ends and Dragonite becomes confused.
The EVs are set to minimize Stealth Rocks damage and hit as hard as possible after a Dragon Dance boost.
The first Attack is Outrage. It is an incredibly powerful STAB attack that is able to take out most threats. Extreme Speed is to pick off weakened opponents and is a great tool for revenge killing. Finally, Fire Punch is for pesky Steel Types that resist Dragonite.
+1 252+ Atk Dragonite Fire Punch vs. 252 HP / 88+ Def Ferrothorn: 372-440 (105.6 - 125%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Dragonite Fire Punch vs. 248 HP / 116 Def Mega Scizor: 380-448 (110.7 - 130.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Sableye (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp
- Foul Play
-Sableye is used as an Anti-Lead. His goal is to Taunt leads out of setting Hazards or attempting Baton Pass. In addition to his roll as an Anti Lead he also funtions well at stopping Physical Attackers and Set-Up Sweepers. Priority Will-O-Wisp cripples many Physical threats and stops Sweeps in their tracks. Foul Play is used to punish the crippled Physical Sweepers who try to continue boosting or as they boost. It ignores the opponents Burn and can be used well in your Favour. Recover and Leftovers are to keep Sableye alive as long as possible. The EVS are focusing on HP and Defense so he can stay in on Physical Attackers and pick them apart with Foul Play.
+2 0- Atk Sableye Foul Play vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Garchomp: 324-382 (90.5 - 106.7%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
+2 0- Atk Sableye Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Scizor: 283-334 (100.7 - 118.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 0- Atk Sableye Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Gyarados: 300-354 (90.6 - 106.9%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
+1 0- Atk Sableye Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Charizard X: 234-276 (78.7 - 92.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Gengar (M) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 28 HP / 148 SpA / 80 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Disable
- Will-O-Wisp
- Sludge Wave
- With Gengars great speed he can set up a Substitute before the opponent hits him. It either allows Gengar to avoid the harmful status conditions or to see what attack is coming next. He can use Disable to prevent the opponent from spamming powerful attacks after the Substitute breaks. Will-O-Wisp cripples physical Pokemon who threated Gengar. I chose Sludge Wave to deal with Fairy type Pokemon. Black Sludge keeps Gengar around longer and helps heal the health taken from using Substitute.
148 SpA Gengar Sludge Wave vs. 92 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 348-410 (95.6 - 112.6%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO
148 SpA Gengar Sludge Wave vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Togekiss: 254-302 (81.6 - 97.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Chandelure (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Flamethrower
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Chandelure has a great Special Attack and an equally great Special Move Pool. I chose Infiltrator over Flash Fire because it allows Chandelure to bypass Substitute which is a move used by a lot of different Pokemon. Modest Nature is to maximize his amazing attack. The Choice Scarf allows Chandelure to outspeed a lot of Pokemon and defeat them. Flamethrower and Shadow Ball are Chandelures STAB attacks and have reliable accuracy unlike Fire Blast. Energy Ball is for Quagsire and the other odd Ground/Rock, Water/Ground combos sometimes seen. Hidden Power Ice is for Dragons and Gliscor. Which can beat Chandelure with Earthquake.
252+ SpA Chandelure Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 540-636 (153.4 - 180.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Chandelure Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Medicham: 356-422 (136.3 - 161.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Chandelure Shadow Ball vs. 28 HP / 80 SpD Gengar: 356-422 (132.8 - 157.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Chandelure Shadow Ball vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Latios: 288-342 (95.3 - 113.2%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Chandelure Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gardevoir: 240-284 (86.6 - 102.5%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Chandelure Energy Ball vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Quagsire: 660-780 (167.5 - 197.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Chandelure Hidden Power Ice vs. 244 HP / 0 SpD Gliscor: 396-468 (112.5 - 132.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Greninja (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Extrasensory
- Hidden Power [Fire]
With Protean my Greninja is able to either be Water, Ice, Psychic, or Fire. Timid Nature for Greninja to outspeed most Pokemon and a Life Orb to pack the extra punch. I chose Scald over Surf because of the chance to Burn and over Hydro Pump because of better accuracy. Ice Beam is for the common Dragon Pokemon and Gliscor. Extrasensory to hit the Fighting Pokemon that threaten my team. And to top of the set Hidden Power Fire for Ferrothorn and Scizor.
252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Multiscale Dragonite: 328-385 (101.5 - 119.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Garchomp: 749-879 (178.3 - 209.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 333-395 (94.6 - 112.2%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Extrasensory vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Keldeo: 315-374 (97.5 - 115.7%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Extrasensory vs. 0 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Conkeldurr: 198-237 (56.4 - 67.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Tyranitar-Mega (M) @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Ice Punch
And finally my Mega and Favourite Pokemon, Tyranitar. He has fantastic Bulk and with Sand he is very likely to get a Dragon Dance Boost. Earthquake to hit steel types like Heatran and Excadrill. Crunch is the STAB I chose for Tyranitar. It is just simply more reliable than Stone Edge. Stone Edge always seems to miss at the most crucial times. Anything under 100% accuracy might as well be 50% accuracy. Crunch still hits very hard and especially after a boost. The final move is Ice Punch. It can take out Pokemon like Garchomp who can hit Tyranitar pretty hard.
+1 252 Atk Mega Tyranitar Crunch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Talonflame: 307-363 (103.3 - 122.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252 Atk Mega Tyranitar Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 314-372 (79.6 - 94.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage and Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Atk Mega Tyranitar Crunch vs. 0 HP / 24 Def Mega Gardevoir: 321-378 (115.8 - 136.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252 Atk Mega Tyranitar Ice Punch vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Garchomp: 612-720 (170.9 - 201.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252 Atk Mega Tyranitar Ice Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Multiscale Dragonite: 304-358 (94.1 - 110.8%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

- Switch Sludge Wave for Focus Blast on Gengar.
Pros: Hits Steel types like Heatran. Cons: Unreliable accuracy and doesn't hit Fairies well.
