Gen 6 Simple Questions, Simple Answers (XY Ubers Edition - read before posting a thread)

So I'm kind of curious what is the most optimal spread and set for a Defog M-Scizor? I was looking through the analysis section but it seemed like the focus has been put elsewhere with the current suspect test and I only saw small mentions that doesn't necessarily help myself in terms of building.
Defog Scizor is meh, but that aside, you have a few options I guess. You could run max attack and HP, or you could run 248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 SDef which lets you still 2HKO most Xerneas and maintain maximum special bulk.
Eh yeah I know but my options are pretty limited with too many other Defoggers compounding weaknesses on my team. Thanks.
Why are all of the pokemon threads locked?
Because they are old/outdated.
the error doesn't lie in your english, but rather in your misunderstanding of smogon tiering. we don't care about ou here, if something is viable in ubers we use it. it's the ou people who take care of the bans from their tier, not us

Because Gengar exists. Blissey has a free item to run Shed Shell to escape the grasps of Shadow Tag.
Also, the increased prevalence of Knock Off means almost every team will have a way to completely neutralize Chansey. Blissey cannot be gimped this way.
Actually knock off is pretty rare in ubers compared to other tiers.
Right, I overlooked the "Ubers" part. Still, being able to switch out of Gengar ONCE is a pretty weak reason on its own, IMO.

in this locked thread, people are saying arceus bug can only move down if all arceus' move down, yet kyurem is BL2, kyurem-b is OU and kyurem-w ubers?
also, if the arceus formes can get seperate analysis', why can't the (theroictaly) be tiered seperatly?

Most of these are p much unviable but being very generous, the pranksters want lefties, heracross wants its mega stone, and talon runs band.
The difference between Kyurem and Arceus is that Kyurem's forms are not dependant on an item. They have the same dex number, but the usage of each form can be easily isolated and tiered. However, with Arceus, the different forms are dependant on its held item, so tiering them would be like tiering Pokemon with mega forms: the usage stats would be based on the usage of "Arceus", not "Arceus holding item X", which makes it impossible to tier separate forms. Besides, no one who plays OU wants to deal with a sweeper with 120/120/120 offensive stats, no negative effect, and good natural bulk, even if it's a mono-Ice type or mono-Bug type.
When you're building a team, if you want a list of some common movesets for mons, check out the Smogon Strategy Pokedex found here: http://www.smogon.com/dex/. That should help simplify your questions, and as haxiom said, most of these Mons are unviable and should not be used in Ubers. You might be able to pull this team off in OU, but even then Whimsicott, and Empoleon are pretty niche mons, and Nidoking is still borderline unusable in OU.
