Also, a second question: Can moves like surf critical hit individually? Like, can I use surf or explosion and do a critical hit on one pokemon, but normal damage to the other two?

Yes, I've seen it happen.

Can anyone confirm my Raikou question?

Plugging into my team builder, I get at L100: 311/194/139/298/205/298.

That's similar to yours but not the same...and using Metalkid's calculator yields the following: L100 311 194 139 298 205 298

*edit* I had a retarded bug, which your question fortunately brought to light. Those numbers should be correct now.

I have a Lonely Raikou with these IVs: 20 / 2 / 0 / 0 / 0 / 0. If I give it 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Spd, and 6 HP EVs, is this what it's final stats will look like at Lv100:?

HP: 311
Atk: 203
Def: 130
Sp.Atk: 298
Sp.Def: 205
Spd: 298

Just need to be sure.

Are you sure you want to play with that Raikou? You have a nature that is of no benefit too you and have 4 0's in the IV department.

I think most/all running legendaries in the ADV games have quad 0 IVs. Don't worry, I won't be using Raikou, except maybe against amatuers. lol Thanks for your help Blizzard.

Now I need to know which Raikou to keep, and which one to release...

Raikou Lv100 - Lonely
HP: 311
Atk: 194
Def: 139
Sp.Atk: 298
Sp.Def: 205
Spd: 298

or

Raikou Lv100 - Quiet
HP: 339
Atk: 181
Def: 161
Sp.Atk: 327
Sp.Def: 210
Spd: 237

The Quiet one is actually Lv100.

EDIT: I won't be using it competively so compare the two in-game (maybe Battle Tower or link battles against not as experienced players).

I need more detail on Baton Pass's mechanics. Which of these will an afflicted user pass on to the next pokemon:

Status effects (poison, paralyze, burn)?

No.

Confusion?

Yes.

Leech Seed?

Yes, even if you pass to a Grass type.

Perish Song count?

Yes, even if you pass to a Soundproof Pokemon.

Wrap/whirlpool/etc, yup

Wrong.

I know some moves like surf that target multiple enemies have their damage reduced by 75% (or so, it's a factor in the damage formula). Are explosion/selfdestruct also affected by this reduction, and are there any other moves that hit multiple targets and AREN'T reduced in this way?

All moves that target multiple foes have this reduction. However, if your move hits a Pokemon when all other targets are fainted it does 100%. So for instance, if you have a Geodude out against a Pidgey and a Rattata, if your Explosion hits Pidgey first, it does 75% damage, but if that manages to KO Pidgey, Rattata takes full damage. I'm not sure if it includes your ally.

Ok this sounds n00bish, but I've had this question for awhile.

If a pokemon is in the Ground Egg Group and can breed with Smeargle, then technically shouldn't it be able to get any moves?? (even though I know it can't).

And what determines what moves can be passed down by Smeargle. For example, there is a list of Egg Moves Weavile can get on Serebii. Was every move tested and only the ones listed passed down or what, cause I'm confused as to what limits the Egg Movepool of a Ground Egg Group pokemon.

Each family of pokemon has it's own egg moves. For example, a Pichu who is in Ground group can get Nasty Plot, but a Tauros (is Tauros in Ground?) cannot.

I thought it'd be this way, and Serebii just probably tested passing it down with each poke to discover its Egg moves, either that or they hacked the game data.

Anyone know how the level 50 wifi battles calculate your stats? For example do they use a formula that takes account of any EV training you may have done after level 50, or do they just use the exact stats your pokemon had at level 50? I basically want to know if there's any point to EV training a caught Cresselia (at lvl 50 obviously) if it's only going to be used in level 50 battles.

Great, thanks! Does that also mean then, that once you've done your EV training, evolved your pokemon to its highest form and levelled it high enough to get the moves you want, then you can stop training it there and when you use it in the level 50 battles it will have the same stats it would have had if you had levelled it all the way up to 50 yourself?

When you've maxed it's EVs and everything like you say, there'll be no more benefit from training it any more, at least if you only plan to use it for Wi-Fi.

Has the GTS Cloning Glitch been officially patched up? Or was this just a rumor, and it still works fine?

EDIT: The GTS Cloning Glitch does still work, just cloned some jirachi's.
