Would this work for a wall Bronzong?

Sassy // 252 HP / 158 Sp Def / 100 Def or Sp Att
-Hypnosis
-Psychic
-Grass Knot/Flash Cannon
-Calm Mind

Or should I stick with a more usual

Sassy // 252 HP / 158 Sp Def / 100 Def or Att
-Hypnosis
-Gyro Ball
-EQ
-Stealth Rock/Light Screen

Any opinions?

Start training right out of the gate, at level 1 or whatever level you catch your prospective champion at.

HP - Definatly go for the Whoopers & Quagsires found surfing in Rt 212. If you have Pokerus & the Power HP item equipped, going first and switching to something that can take the Woopers/Sires down you can get 10/12 EVs respectively.
Sp. Def - Any ocean route with Tentacool/Tentacruel. 223 is a good bet, lots of Tentacruel and Mantyke, with an occasional Pelipper to run from.

Does Focus Sash disappear after use (like a berry) or is it still there but useless?

Yes, it is used up.

Are Roost's extra effects just for that turn, or are they for the next attack? (if the Pokémon using Roost is slower, will the effects show?)

They last the rest of the turn, so a slower Pokemon cannot benefit or be harmed by that side-effect (unless they opponent does something like Focus Punch).

Focus Sash does NOT disappear after use. In fact, if you can get back up to 100% HP it will work again.

If you take damage but do not activate the Focus Sash, you can use it if you bring your health back to 100%. If you activate Focus Sash, however, it is used up, and will never activate again.

What does Life Orb effect? Your Attack Power or the Attack's Power, or the final damage?

It boosts final damage.

Also, how much does it multiply it by? Is it 1.3?

Yes.

Does Arena Trap work on Flying types and Pokemon with Levitate if Gravity is in effect?

Yes, as do Spikes and Toxic Spikes.

Should I settle for the Modest Ditto with 30/xx/xx/30/30/xx IVs that I just caught for breeding those stats or should I try to get one or multiple dittos with possibly 1 31 IV each?

That is an excellent Ditto. Aside from Speed, a single stat point is almost always irrelevant. The only time this could be a problem is if you want to breed for 404 HP on a base 100 HP Pokemon to make 101 HP subs, meaning you'd need to have a 31 HP IV. Other than that, not much of a difference.

Ditto Question(s):
I was chaining Dittos earlier with a fainted sychronizer in front of me, and with a scyther actually fighting. I noticed that when my Espeon was still alive that i was a LOT harder to catch Dittos that transformed into it than compared to Scyther. Question 1: Does Ditto get the Pokemon it transforms into's catch rate? Question 2: Also, when the Ditto would become a Scyther, i could always catch it easily with the bug ball and wondered if it assumed the same typing with Pokeballs as the Pokemon it transformed into. Sorry if this is really vague and rambly...

Ditto does take on the Transformed Pokemon's capture rate. That's why it's good to have high level Magikarps while chaining Dittos. Also, note that a Synchronize Pokemon's effect will remain even if it is fainted, as long as it is in the first slot.

I'm not too clear on the whole "Pal Parked pokemon change abilities when evolving" thing

What about regular ingame pokes? If I have a trace Porygon, am I guaranteed to have a trace P2?

Also, does Double Hit work like Rock Blast where you hit through subs?

I need more detail on Baton Pass's mechanics. Which of these will an afflicted user pass on to the next pokemon:

Status effects (poison, paralyze, burn)?
Confusion?
Leech Seed?
Perish Song count?

I tried to evolve my No Guard Machoke using the GTS, only to find that it now has the Guts ability and has lost its nickname and become plain MACHAMP. All other stats and details remained the same. Fortunately, I had a backup clone.

What's going on here? I'm not the original trainer, if that has something to do with it. It was bred on a Diamond/Pearl game. If I evolve it by trading with someone on wifi instead, will it keep the right ability?

Leech-seed, yup
Perish-Song, yup
Wrap/whirlpool/etc, yup
Confusion, Don't think so,
Poison/burn/paralyze, definitely not.
Stat-boosts, still yup
Stat-decreases, even more yup.

wow, that's pretty interesting. i never heard of that happening before. who'd you get it from?

a friend of mine wants to know, if a hacked pokemon breeds then will the baby show up as unlegit in a legit checker, of some kind of program.

OK last question for tonight, completely unrelated to Baton Pass:

How much SpAtk is needed to 2HKO your standard Blissey with Aura Sphere? This is from a Lucario.

I know some moves like surf that target multiple enemies have their damage reduced by 75% (or so, it's a factor in the damage formula). Are explosion/selfdestruct also affected by this reduction, and are there any other moves that hit multiple targets and AREN'T reduced in this way?

I have a Lonely Raikou with these IVs: 20 / 2 / 0 / 0 / 0 / 0. If I give it 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Spd, and 6 HP EVs, is this what it's final stats will look like at Lv100:?

HP: 311
Atk: 203
Def: 130
Sp.Atk: 298
Sp.Def: 205
Spd: 298

Just need to be sure.
