what move its better on frosslass? thunderbolt or shadow ball?
the set is:
ice beam
destiny bond
confuse ray
--atak--- ^^

so?

Well, I wouldn't recommend Confuse Ray and Destiny Bond on the same set. It'll feel horrible when you DBond and they hurt themselves in confusion. So I'd take out Confuse Ray and put in both Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball.

Are there any items banned from play? I heard Bright Powder was, and I was wondering if it was/if there are any more banned.

Can any give me a link to the D/P Cloning Guide? I have tried searching for it, but couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance

basically anything that only has a chance of working is frowned upon, but not really banned. This includes brightpower, focus band, quick claw, etc. These items really require no skill to use, but can change a battle quickly.

Move-tutor in fire-red/leaf-green/emerald/Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness

Also, whilethough this is a bit of a silly question...
I heard a rumor a while back that seems to be at least somewhat viable. That being, thunder-wave's (TWave ONLY) paralysis rate increases by 10% every passing turn, capping off at some number around 60%/70%. Mind you, I've never stopped to test this, but in battles against azelf and the like, by the end of the battle, it seemed like azelf couldn't move at all. I specifically remember a four-turn paralysis streak.

So, is it true, or only a rumor?

Azelf was badly paralyzed!

I wouldn't think so, but then again, I have yet to use TW in the fourth generation...

Oh, I had some questions too.

Does Focus Sash disappear after use (like a berry) or is it still there but useless?

Are Roost's extra effects just for that turn, or are they for the next attack? (if the Pokémon using Roost is slower, will the effects show?)

Which nature is best for a mixed-attacking Seviper? It will probably look like this;

Seviper @ Choice Scarf
??? Nature (+SAtk, -???)
252 SpAtk/228 Speed/28 Attack
- Earthquake
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power Ice

Mild or Rash?

I think it does, My brother was complaining his Focus Sas disappeared after His infernape Survived in the Elite 4.

Like berries, they only disappear for the battle in Wi-Fi or the battle tower.

So I just have a pretty generic question. What kind of pokemon do you think heart scales are worth?
I have some extra heart scales and I am wondering what a reasonable trade would be for one of them.

Imo, they aren't really worth anything. Anybody can get a haul of them if they spend time in the underground.

You might be able to get some stuff on the Serebii Wifi chat, though.

no, according to the research thread, focus sash will NOT work a second time, i.e., if you use the focus sash to endure damage, and then recover back to full health, the focus sash will not work again. It is a single use item. However, if you aren't at 100%, like you switched in on SR and then recovered, or recyled, it would work. Its not a glitch ingame, that's just how Focus Sash works.

They only work on the turn itself. If the Roost user is slower than it works just like Softboiled. If they're faster and Roost before the attack, then they lose their Flying type for the turn.

Since you're hitting 334 speed, I'll assume you're intending to use this in the OU environment. That's very brave and I can't think of any other reason why you'd settle for one more speed then max Garchomp and pack HP Ice. ;P

I've half a mind to reccomend Hasty or Naive just to outrun Dugtrio, Infernape, Gengar, Tauros, Raikou, Azelf, Espeon and Alakazam who equal death to you otherwise but Seviper needs all the power he can gain with his middle-ish special attack.

I'm gonna say Rash, just to give him that extra chance of switching in on Fighting and Bug moves which are primarily physical. The majority of special attacks are gonna OHKO or 2HKO regardless of nature so Rash could help him counter CB Heracross somewhat. Get in on the Megahorn or CC (which I'm guessing will do around 80-90%), then scare him off with Flamethrower. Unfortunately Flamethrower won't OHKO unless he's had a special defence drop.
