XY OU Boring Beginner Team Is Boring

So, after a long stay in the UU tier, I have finally decided to return to OU. While there, the amazing community taught me how to properly teambuild and I learned how to deal with different playstyles. Since I left well before the Aegislash ban, I am quite new to the current meta. I started with a balance team, however, I'm not even sure if balance is a good OU playstyle. Well, on with the team.
charizard-4.gif

Charizard-Mega-X @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 144 HP / 252 Atk / 112 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Roost

The first member of the team is the Pokemon I choose to build around, Mega Charizard X. It is a reliable sweeper that can repeatedly come in due to Roost. I chose Flare Blitz over Earthquake because my team struggles with Skarmory. This does leave it walled by Heatran, but unlike Skarmory, I have multiple ways to kill Heatran. Depending on how my team changes, this set can be modified.
ferrothorn-4.gif

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpD
Impish Nature
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Power Whip
- Stealth Rock

Ferrothorn was added to provide my team with Stealth Rock and some healing. It is a great switch in for physical attacks, most notably ground moves, which Charizard struggles with. It can also switch into certain bulky waters which again, counter Charizard. However, one downside is that it lures in Heatran. Despite me having Landrous and Azumaril to take it down, they can easily be burned by it and be crippled for the rest of the match. Ferrothorn still fills an irreplaceable role on this team.
bisharp.gif

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Pursuit

Bisharp is probably the most replaceable member on my team. I originally intended for him to be a way to eliminate faries, but that obviously does not work. Bisharp is a good counter to Latios though, who can revenge kill Charizard if scarfed. I was considering Heatran or possibly Excadrill for a replacement. Either way, I am still left weak to other Heatran or Talonflame and Skarmory respectively.
latios.gif

Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Roost

Latios is one of the core members of this team. Its main role is obviously the defogger of this team. I also serves as a switch in and a way to kill waters, taking burns, and a revenge killer. I am considering swapping Roost for another move. Possibly something to damage Heatran like Surf could be used as I do use this to take burns as Charizard is useless against this. I don't see any reason to change anything else.
azumarill-2.gif

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Waterfall
- Superpower

Azumaril's role is a simple special tank. It absorbs hits and deals damage. It is my main Greninja switch in although I believe they are now running Gunk Shot so I am a bit worried. I use superpower to smack obvious switch ins like Magnazone and Ferrothorn. Superpower won me quite a few games before and I already have two Knock Off users. Again, there should not be much to change here.
645-therian.gif

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 140 HP / 156 Atk / 212 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
- U-turn

Landrous might just be my favorite pokemon in OU. It is a great way to tank physical hits and U-turn grants my team some much needed momentum. It can Knock Off the opponent item which goes a long way to wearing them down for the end. This serves as a pivot, a revenge killer and another way to kill Heatran. Once again, I see no need to change anything here.

Well that wraps up my team. To summarize my requests, I would appreciate suggestions for a replacement for Bisharp, I need to find a reliable way to check Heatran. and I am willing to change up Latios's moves a bit. Anyway, have fun rating :)

Hi there. This looks like a solid team. One suggestion I have is to change Power Whip for Gyro Ball on ferro. Power Whip has shaky accuracy and gyro ball on ferro is pretty deadly thanks to his abysmal speed.

Hey Mezomi Good team you have but I have a few suggestions for your team. As a person who has been playing balance in OU for a long time I hope I can help.

Suggestions
1.Change your Landorus-T set to the standard choice scarf set

2. I suggest changing your Azumarill to a Rotom-w as I think rotom-w works better as a special tank while I think Azumarill is more of a pivot. Rotom-W also forms a mini-Volt-Turn core with Landorus-T. It also has access to will-o-wisp to cripple physical mons like bisharp or Dragonite. It also checks T-Flame/Bird Spam

3.On Bisharp I suggest Low Kick over pursuit or knock off as you don't need both on Bisharp. Mainly because Low kick allows you to hit Ferrothorn and Heatran harder than just knock off or sucker punch. Jolly Nature Helps you Outrun Adamant Max Speed M-Heracross and Other Adamant Bisharp. Also maybe use Black Glasses over life orb to make sharp las longer.

4.I think you should replace Ferrothorn to Heatran as Ferrothorn is more used on stall teams and Heatran hits skarmory and stops Talonflame and still gives you a rocker.

Alright thats it I hope this helped

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 232 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Stone Edge

Bisharp @ Black Glasses
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off/Pursuit
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Low Kick

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 236 Def / 24 SpD
Bold Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Heatran @ Air Balloon/Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 192 SpD / 68 Spe
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Toxic/Flash Cannon
- Stealth Rock
- Roar/Protect

I have honestly no idea why you tried to make this team exactly like yours. This team honestly doesn't look like Balance at all, it looks more like bulky offense.

Hello! This is a pretty decent team you have here, and I hope my suggestions make this team more effecient.

Firstly, your team at a glance looks fairly weak to Heatran. Your team honestly doesn't want to switch into Heatran at all as Zard X/Ferrothorn/Latios/Bisharp can't really do much to Heatran while Azumarill/Landorus-T dislikes switching in fearing the Lava Plume burn. I would suggest changing Azumarill to Specs Keldeo. Specs Keldeo gives your team a solid wallbreaker while also an effective Heatran counter. Keldeo also breaks down the bulky grounds that would otherwise be problematic for Zard X and halt its lategame sweep.

Secondly, I would suggest changing Bisharp to Assault Vest Raikou. Bisharp looks like the weak link to the team and honestly doesn't do much other than pursuit trapping Latwins which your team comfortably deals with anyway with Ferrothorn. Your team also looks pretty birdspam weak despite the presence of Scarf Landorus-T, as Landorus-T is 2hko'd by CB Talonflame's Brave Bird after Stealth Rock and your team has nothing that can really take on Talonflame. Raikou gives you an effective birdspam check as well as a solid Thundurus-I answer. Thundurus-I is a threat to Zard X as its prankster Twave prevents it from accomplishing its job as a lategame sweeper with a Dragon Dance up. Raikou is one of the best switch-ins to Thundurus-I and also gains immediate momentum for your team with Volt Switch while also forming a mini Volt-Turn core with Landorus-T.

Thirdly, you might want to consider running Jolly Nature on Zard X with enough speed evs to outrun Jolly Landorus-T. This is because Scarf Landorus-T is running around everywhere atm in OU and running Jolly allows you to outrun Landorus-T and ko it with Flare Blitz after a DD (and factoring Intimidate drop) and with a bit of chip damage. Rocky Helmet on Ferrothorn can also be used to weaken both Azumarill and Landorus-T and put them into range where Flare Blitz KOes both of them. Magnezone running around everywhere also helps Zard X a lot as once Ferrothorn has done its job of weakening Azumarill and setting up Stealth Rock, it can be trapped by Magnezone to give Zard X an opportunity to set up a DD for free as Magnezone is unable to do anything to Zard X.

Hope I helped, and good luck!
