Overview
########

Misdreavus's good bulk and defensive typing make it one of the best Normal-type checks in the tier, as well as a good check to common threats such as Golem and Poliwrath. This is helped by a great support movepool, including moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Taunt. Its great defensive typing allows it to switch into physical attackers with more ease and spinblock. However, Misdreavus relies using an Eviolite for its bulk, and it has limited walling capabilities due to its lack of reliable recovery. Misdreavus can also set up with Nasty Plot, but it needs multiple boosts to break through most special walls.

Nasty Plot
########
name: Nasty Plot
move 1: Nasty Plot
move 2: Shadow Ball
move 3: Dazzling Gleam / Thunderbolt
move 4: Taunt / Will-O-Wisp
item: Eviolite
evs: 120 HP / 252 SpA / 136 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
========

Nasty Plot boosts Misdreavus's Special Attack, allowing it to sweep. Shadow Ball is Misdreavus's strongest STAB move and has a good offensive type. Dazzling Gleam hits Dark-type Pokemon, such as Sneasel and Mightyena, while also having perfect neutral coverage alongside Shadow Ball. Thunderbolt also has good neutral coverage and hits Flying- and Water-type Pokemon such as Pelipper and Poliwrath harder. Taunt prevents status and phazing, allowing Misdreavus to set up on walls more easily, while Will-O-Wisp can be used to allow Misdreavus to set up on physical attackers and whittle the foe down. Both Taunt and Will-O-Wisp provide team support, allowing Misdreavus to function outside of sweeping. Substitute can be used to block status and allows Misdreavus to set up on weaker hits; however, it wears Misdreavus down and it can be phazed out anyways.

Set Details
========

136 Speed EVs allow Misdreavus outspeed neutral-natured base 70 Speed Pokemon such as Poliwrath and Mightyena, crippling them with a burn. 252 Special Attack EVs and a Modest nature boost Misdreavus's power as much as possible. The remaining EVs go in HP to boost its mixed bulk.

Usage Tips
========

Thanks to its good typing, Misdreavus can set up on a lot of Pokemon, such as Poliwrath and Golem. Misdreavus's good natural bulk and typing allow it to take multiple hits, but it gets worn down quickly due to its lack of recovery. Misdreavus can also function as a Spinblocker, so it should be switched in on a predicted Rapid Spin. It is better used as a mid-game wallbreaker, as it lacks the speed and strength to sweep by itself. Taunt should be used when Misdreavus is predicting the opponent to use a status or phazing move.

Team Options
========

Fighting-type Pokemon such as Throh and Poliwrath make for good partners, as they can sponge a Knock Off and beat Dark-types such as Sneasel and Mightyena. Misdreavus also appreciates entry hazard support, particularly from setter Pokemon such as Golem and Glalie, to help gradually weaken the opponent's team and allow it to OHKO Grumpig and Tauros after some boosts. Dark-type Pokemon, such as Sneasel and Mightyena, can beat faster Ghost-types such as Haunter. Wallbreakers, such as Marowak and Heatmor, are also appreciated, as they wear down the opponent's bulky Pokemon that Misdreavus cannot break.

Defensive
########
name: Defensive
move 1: Foul Play / Shadow Ball
move 2: Will-O-Wisp
move 3: Pain Split
move 4: Taunt / Perish Song
item: Eviolite
evs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
nature: Timid

Moves
========

Foul Play helps check physical attackers, as it allows Misdreavus to beat Ursaring and Tauros. Shadow Ball is an equally good option, as it does more damage to specially based Pokemon and some other walls; and unlike Foul Play, can break Poliwrath's Substitutes. Will-O-Wisp cripples physical attackers and gradually wears Pokemon down. Pain Split allows Misdreavus to recover health when low, but it is somewhat unreliable, as it relies on the foe being at high amounts of health. Taunt prevents Pokemon from trying to boost or set up entry hazards on Misdreavus and prevents opposing walls from recovering. Perish Song acts as a win condition, as it beats setup sweepers and opposing walls; it is more important on stall teams, against bulky setup sweepers that cannot be phazed. Heal Bell can be used to clear the team's status ailments; however, it forces Misdreavus to give up on a way to beat setup sweepers and walls.

Set Details
========

252 HP and Defense EVs boost Misdreavus's physical defense as much as possible, helping it wall physical attackers. 16 Speed EVs and a Timid nature allow it to outspeed neutral-natured base 65 Speed Pokemon, such as Flareon and Heatmor, while also allowing it to Taunt Huntail before it boosts. 52 Speed EVs could be utilized instead to allow Misdreavus to outspeed and burn Mightyena.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its bulk and typing, Misdreavus can switch into plenty of physical attackers, such as Poliwrath and Piloswine, but it should not switch in too often, as it lacks reliable recovery. It also functions as a Spinblocker, so it should switch in on a predicted Rapid Spin. Spreading burns is Misdreavus's main objective. Taunt should be used to prevent Pokemon from setting up, inflicting status, or recovering health, while Shadow Ball can finish off weakened Pokemon and break Substitutes. Use Pain Split when Misdreavus is at low health. Avoiding Knock Off is crucial, as not only will it do a lot of damage, but it prevents Misdreavus from walling as effectively.

Team Options
========

As it can block Rapid Spin, Misdreavus pairs well with Stealth Rock setters, such as Torterra and Piloswine, as well as Spikes and Toxic Spikes setters, such as Roselia. Heal Bell users prevent Misdreavus from getting worn down too quickly by status. Normal-type Pokemon, such as Lickilicky, can beat Ghost-types such as Haunter and opposing Misdreavus, while Misdreavus can switch into Fighting-type moves for them. Fighting-types, such as Throh and Poliwrath, can switch into Knock Off and beat Dark-types. Misdreavus works well on stall-based teams, as it checks common stallbreakers such as Tauros, but it can also work effectively in offense as a glue Pokemon.

Other Options
########

A Calm Mind set could be used to allow Misdreavus to set up on specially attacking Pokemon, while a specially defensive spread could be used to wall them. Magic Coat could be used to bounce back entry hazards. Memento provides support for a teammate to set up, and Destiny Bond punishes the opponent for KOing Misdreavus, though it has limited usage due to Misdreavus's middling Speed. Thunder Wave could be utilized to cripple offensive Pokemon, and Toxic wears walls down quicker, but Will-O-Wisp has overall better utility.

Checks & Counters
########
**Knock Off**: Knock Off hits Misdreavus super effectively and removes its Eviolite, significantly decreasing its bulk. Common users such as Sneasel can outspeed and deal heavy damage with its high Attack stat while Throh can survive a hit and get a Guts boost if burnt.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially bulky Pokemon, such as Bastiodon and Togetic, can easily survive a boosted hit and retaliate with a status or phazing move. However, they both have to watch out for Taunt, although Bastiodon can bounce it back with Magic Coat.

**Offensive Type Advantage**: Dark-types such as Sneasel and Mightyena can outspeed Misdreavus, depending on the set, and deal heavy damage with their STAB moves, and Mightyena gets an Attack boost if it KOs Misdreavus. They do, however, have to be wary of Will-O-Wisp. Ghost-types such as Haunter can outspeed and deal heavy damage; however, they need chip damage to KO and Misdreavus can OHKO with Shadow Ball.

**Normal-types**: Lickilicky is immune to Misdreavus's STAB moves, takes little damage from its coverage moves, can deal heavy damage with Knock Off or phaze it out with Dragon Tail, and can clear its status with Heal Bell. Ursaring gets an Attack boost from Will-O-Wisp, can take a Dazzling Gleam, and can retaliate with Crunch.

**Fire-types**: Bulky Fire-types such as Camerupt and Heatmor can switch into a Will-O-Wisp and then set up entry hazards or deal heavy damage to Misdreavus with their Fire-type STAB moves, but they dislike taking boosted hits. Like Heatmor, Ninetales gets a Flash Fire boost when switching into Will-O-Wisp, and it can then set up Nasty Plots. Specially defensive Flareon can take a boosted hit, while Choice Band sets can deal heavy damage with Flare Blitz.

**Offensive Pressure**: Because Pain Split is situational, Misdreavus finds it hard to stay at high amounts of health in order to switch into offensive Pokemon. Offensive pressure also makes it hard for Misdreavus to set up Nasty Plots, threatening to 2HKO it or wearing it down to the point where it is easily revenge killed.

yo, i'd run foul play > shadow ball on the defensive set, since it wants to be actively checking normal-types, and without it, you kinda lose the war of attrition vs.substitute using and / or guts normal-types, which are common enough (tauros and bouff both run sub, ursaring, especially guts, is an animal for defensive teams to face). also, since it is being stressed for a stall environment, i'd give mention to a few things, namely a.the option of perish song (solves potential last-mon issues, which can be problematic), and b.a spread of 252 hp / 200 def / 56 spe, timid, which allows it to outpace jolly, guts ursaring, b/c honestly, it's huge threat to stall. you also mention roselia as a heal bell user, which it is not (it gets aromatherapy, but it has some 4mss as is, and it'd rather be using free turns to stack (t)spikes), so there is that :[l]

I will slash foul play after shadow ball (talked with galbia who thought fp should be in oo, but it is niche). Perish song will go in OO's as the defensive set cant fit it on its moveset. I dont think that ursaring is common enough to justify outspeeding when you have to lose out on so much bulk. Ill change rose to togetic, rose was just the first thing that pop'd into my head.

Second set should also run speed. A benchmark like max speed timid huntail (which also means outspeeding random max bouffalant and base 60s) isnt that expensive ev wise and feasible (check for natures obv).

Move Foul Play to moves imo

First set has messed up evs

sub can go in moves of the np set

I SEE NO CHECK HERE

Thanks and sorted this out (as you know)

Offensive pressure needs to be in c&c as well as fire types like ninetalrs and heatmor who enjoy wisp

Ursaring needs to be added to normal types as it can't be hit and has guts to avoid wisp

Remove trick from oo

Put 52 speed mention on defensive spread to outrun and burn adamant mightyena and weird max speed belly drum poliwrath or some shit that might exist lol

Edit: consider this the real check 1/3

i'd remove "limited offensive movepool" and calm mind from the overview, as it has all the coverage moves it needs and cm isn't on a main set.

you put the 52 speed mention on the wrong set, it should be on the defensive set.

mention a spread of 176 speed timid for the first set to outspeed and taunt max speed garbodor.

is stunfisk really the best sr setter you can mention as a team option lol? adding some more examples would be helpful.

in c&c you say that mightyena outspeeds misdreavus, but depending on the set it may not.

this looks good other than that and this stuff is easy enough to implement, qc 2/3

This may take me a while to write due to irl stuff

NASTY PLOT

Moves:
- The last moveslot also supports the team, so you could mention that. Taunt stops walls and entry hazards for example, while Wisp burns stuff.
- Sub wears Missy down, that's a disadvantage.

Usage Tips:
- You could mention... better(?) examples than Togetic and Bastiodon, especially when you talk about Missy's typing helping it. Stuff like Scarf Tauros, Poliwrath, and Golem can do.

Team Options
- you'll need to do a lot better than "gradually weaken the opponent" when mentioning entry hazards. Is there a significant KO gained from them?
- Honestly I'm not sure wallbreakers are very good examples of teammates when you earlier stated that Misdreavus is good for midgame softening up of opponents. Might wanna fix this up.

DEFENSIVE

Set:
- I have a feeling 40 Spe is a better spread to outspeed and burn neutral max Spe Torterra and Rampardos but I'll discuss with QC team.

Moves:
- Foul Play also beats TAURPS and Ursaring, these are pretty notable. I actually think it deserves to be slashed but w/e.
- I think that Heal Bell and Perish Song deserve mentions here instead of in OO (also think they should be slashed with Taunt and Pain Split respectively, but w/e). Both of these are great options; the former for any type of team that's weak to status, the latter for stall teams in need of a wincon.

Set Details:
- Missy doesn't beat Flareon and Heatmor, so don't talk about them at all.

OO:
- Heal Bell and Perish Song should have been moved to Moves
- Add Destiny Bond imo

Checks and Counters
- You still need to add Fire-types and Offensive Pressure like galbia stated

Implemented most of this + what we talked about in irc. We concluded that foul play and p song gets slash in moves whilst heal bell gets mentioned in OO, also that the 40 speed isnt necessary.
e: also mentioned memento

can Foul Play be made the only slash on defensive Missy? Tauros, Bouff and Ursaring are huge threats and even outside of stall I have never used Shadow Ball because it does like negligible damage to Throh anyway.

Yah I agree, mainslash at the very least.

Shadow ball should definitely get a slash, because one isnt better than the other, it is objectively better. It can do stuff like break Poliwraths sub, which two foul plays cannot even do

I agree with that spread

Overview:
I wouldn't say it walls Bouff and Tauros because strictly speaking it doesn't wall Tauros that well. You could say it is the best check to them and other physical stuff like Golem, Piloswine etc. and can spinblock as well

Nasty Plot:
- Remove Mantine mention; you can say Tbolt helps it block Defog from Pelipper, deal with Flying-types more easily
- Wisp also helps Missy to cripple stuff and wear them down so it isn't limited to sweeping or giving it setup opportunities

Defensive:
- I still think Foul Play should be slashed first because checking Normal-types is such a big perk of using Missy; Shadow Ball can be secondary slash
- Don't mention that Missy often has teammates with Heal Bell as a reason not to use it because that isn't always true on offensive teams
- I guess you can mention not to use it to check every physical attacker ever because it doesn't have good recovery
- In team options I still think it sounds too much like it only fits well on stall, so you can mention that it's also a v good glue on offense

Anty sorry i'm good at procrastination

I changed wall to check, as i guess only the defensive set is a reliable counter. I changed the order of slashes as it really isnt major, but mentioned they are equally as good. The defensive set fits in so much better on defensive based teams from what ive used, but i have sorted that stuff out.

- I strongly feel that overview should directly tell the reader that Missy is one of the best checks to normal-types and ground-types because it is a huge reason to use it, but that's your call :)
- defensive: add that perish song more importantly acts as a "win condition" and beats last pokemon that can't be phazed, but really only has a place on stall

QC 3/3 it's done :)

ftr I still think Heal Bell deserves a slash but whatever lol

I mentioned the thing about normal but not ground types, as there are like 4 ground types, one beats it, and normal types are so much more relevant imo. Heal bell is way to niche and team specific + running it w/o taunt sucks :s

Misdreavus's good bulk and defensive typing allows it to check common threats such as Golem and Poliwrath, and become one of the best Normal-type checks in the tier. This is helped by a great support movepool, such as Will-O-Wisp and Taunt. Its great defensive typing allows it to switch into physical attackers with more ease, and allows Misdreavus to Spinblock. However, Misdreavus relies on its item, Eviolite, for its bulk and it has limited walling capabilities due to lack of reliable recovery. It also has an ability to set up with Nasty Plot, but it is weak without boosts and needs multiple boosts to break through most special walls. (add period)

Nasty Plot
########
name: Nasty Plot
move 1: Nasty Plot
move 2: Shadow Ball
move 3: Dazzling Gleam / Thunderbolt
move 4: Taunt / Will-O-Wisp
ability: Levitate
item: Eviolite
evs: 120 HP / 252 Spa SpA / 136 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
========

Nasty Plot allows Misdreavus to boost its Special Attack, allowing it to sweep. Shadow Ball is its strongest STAB move with a good offensive typing. Dazzling Gleam hits Dark-type Pokemon, such as Sneasel and Mightyena, whilst also having perfect neutral coverage with Shadow Ball. Thinderbolt Thunderbolt also has good neutral coverage but hits Flying- and Water-type Pokemon such as Pelipper and Poliwrath harder. Taunt prevents status and phazing, allowing Misdreavus to set up on walls more easily, (remove the comma and add a period so you can start a new sentence) Will-O-Wisp could be used to allow it to set up on physical attackers, and whittle the opponent foe down. These moves also provide team support, allowing Misdreavus to function outside of sweeping. Substitute can be used to block status and allow Misdreavus to set up on weaker hits, however can be phazed out and wears Misdreavus down.

Set Details
========

136 Speed EVs allows Misdreavus to outspeed neutral-natured base 70's, allowing it to outspeed and burn Poliwrath and Mightyena. 252 Special Attack EVs and a Modest nature boost Misdreavus's power as much as possible. The remaining EV's go in HP, to boost its mixed bulk.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its good type, Misdreavus can set up on a lot of Pokemon such as Poliwrath and Golem. Due to its good natural bulk and typing, Misdreavus can take multiple hits, but gets warn down quickly due to lack of recovery. Misdreavus can also function as a Rapid Spin blocker, so it should be switched in on a predicted Rapid Spin. It is better used as a mid-game (add hyphen) wallbreaker, as it lacks speed or strength to sweep by itself. Taunt should be used when necessary, when predicting status or phazing.

Team Options
========

Fighting-types such as Throh and Poliwrath, (comma) make good partners as they can sponge a Knock off and can beat Dark-types such as Sneasel and Mightyena. Misdreavus also appreciates entry hazards, from setters such as Golem and Glalie, to gradually weaken its foe the opponent (better to use foe than opponent cause you're mentioning the Pokemon and not the player) and allow boosted Misdreavus to OHKO Grumpig and Tauros. Dark-type Pokemon, such as Sneasel and Mightyena, can beat faster Ghost-types such as Haunter. Wallbreakers, such as Marowak and Heatmor, are also appreciated, as they wear down the foe's bulky Pokemon that Misdreavus cannot break.

Defensive
########
name: Defensive
move 1: Foul Play / Shadow Ball
move 2: Will-O-Wisp
move 3: Pain Split
move 4: Taunt / Perish Song
ability: Levitate
item: Eviolite
evs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
nature: Timid

Moves
========

Foul Play helps it check physical attackers as it can break Substitutes from Bouffalant, while also allowing Misdreavus to beat Ursaring and Tauros. Shadow Ball, is an equally good option, as it does more damage to specially based Pokemon and some walls, (remove comma) it (capitalize the "I" in "it") also, unlike Foul Play, can break Poliwrath's Substitute. Will-O-Wisp cripples physical attackers and gradually wears Pokemon down. Pain Split allows Misdreavus to recover health when low, however it is unreliable as it relies on the opponent being at high amounts of health. Taunt prevents Pokemon from trying to boost or set up hazards on it and prevents opposing walls from recovering, whilst Perish Song acts as a win condition as it beats Set Up sweepers and opposing walls. This is more important on stall teams, against bulky set up sweepers that cannot be phased. Heal Bell can be used to clear its and its team's status. (add however makes Misdreavus give up on a way to beat set up sweepers and walls, and it sometimes has teammates which can Heal Bell.

Set Details
========

252 Defense and HP EVs boost its physical defense as much as possible to wall physical attackers. 16 Speed EVs and a Timid nature allow it to outspeed neutral base 65's, such as Flareon and Heatmor, whilst also allowing it to Taunt Huntail before it (sets up with Shell Smash) boosts, and burn Bouffalant before it Substitutes. 52 Speed could be used to allow Misdreavus to outspeed and burn Mightyena.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its bulk and typing, Misdreavus can switch into plenty of physical attackers, such as Poliwrath and Piloswine, but it should not switch in too often as it lacks reliable recovery. It also functions as a Rapid Spin blocker, so should switch in on a predicted Rapid Spin. Spreading burns is Misdreavus's mainobjective, (separate "main" from "objective") however Taunt should be used to prevent Pokemon from setting up, opposing recovery and status, whilst Shadow Ball can finish off weakened Pokemon and break Substitutes and Pain Split should be used when it is on low health. Avoiding Knock Off is crucial, as not only will it do a lot of damage, but it prevents Misdreavus from walling as effectively.

Team Options
========

Misdreavus pairs well with Stealth Rock setters, such as Torterra and Piloswine, and Spikes and Toxic Spikes setter, such as Roselia, as Misdreavus functions as a spin blocker. Heal Bell users prevent Misdreavus from getting warn down to quickly by status. Normal-type Pokemon, such as Lickilicky, can beat Ghost-types such as Haunter and other Misdreavus, whilst Misdreavus can switch into Fighting-type moves. Fighting-types, such as Throh and Poliwrath, can switch into a Knock Off and can beat Dark-types. Misdreavus works well on stall based teams as it checks common stall breakers such as Tauros and Bouffalant, but it can also work effectively in offense as a glue.

Other Options
########

A Calm Mind set could be used to allow Misdreavus to set up on specially attacking Pokemon, whilst a Specially defensive spread could be used to wall them. Magic Coat could be used to bounce back hazards, whilst Memento provides support for a team mate to set up and Destiny Bond could be used in order for Misdreavus to punish the opponent when KO'ing it, however has limited usage due to its middling Speed. Lastly, Thunder Wave could be used to cripple offensive Pokemon, and Toxic wears walls down quicker, however Will-O-Wisp has overall better utility.

Checks & Counters
########
**Knock Off**: Knock off removes Misdreavus's Eviolite, significantly decreasing its bulk. It also does large amounts of damage due it being super effective. Sneasel can outspeed and deal heavy damage due to high Attack and Knock Off being STAB, whilst Throh can live hit or gets a Guts boost if burnt.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially bulky Pokemon, such as Bastiodon and Togetic, can easily live a boosted hit and retaliate back with status or phazing, however they both have to watch out for Taunt, but Bastiodon can bounce it back with Mirror Coat.

**Offensive Type Advantage**: Dark-types such as Sneasel and Mightyena can outspeed depending on the set, and deal heavy damage with their Dark STAB moves, the latter gets an Attack boost if it KO's Misdreavus, however have to be weary of Will-O-Wisp. Ghost-types, such as Haunter can outspeed and deal heavy damage however need chip damage to KO and Misdreavus can OHKO with Shadow Ball.

**Normal-Types**: Bulky Normal-type Pokemon, such as Lickilicky, are immune to Misdreavus's STAB, take little damage from coverage, can deal heavy damage with Knock Off or phaze it out with Dragon Tail and can clear its status with Heal Bell. Bouffalant and Tauros can set up a Substitute and wall defensive Misdreavus but cannot do much in return depending on coverage. Ursaring gets an Attack boost from Will-O-Wisp, can take a Dazzling Gleam and retaliate back with Crunch. (add period)

**Fire-Types**: Bulky Fire-Types, such as Camerupt and Heatmor can easily switch into a Will-O-Wisp and then set up hazards or deal heavy damage to Misdreavus with their Fire-type STAB moves, however dislike taking boosted hits. Like Heatmor, Ninetales gets a Flash Fire Boost when switching into a Will-O-Wisp and can set up Nasty Plots. Specially Defensive Flareon can take a boosted hit, whilst Choice Band sets can deal heavy damage with Flare Blitz.

**Offensive Pressure**: Due to Pain Split being situational, Misdreavus finds it hard to stay at high amounts of health in order to switch into offensive Pokemon. Offensive pressure also make it hard for Misdreavus to set up Nasty Plots due to threatening to 2HKO or the ability to wear Misdreavus down to the point that it is easily revenge killed.

It also has an ability to can set up with Nasty Plot, but it is weak without boosts and needs multiple boosts to break through most special walls. (period)

Nasty Plot
########
name: Nasty Plot
move 1: Nasty Plot
move 2: Shadow Ball
move 3: Dazzling Gleam / Thunderbolt
move 4: Taunt / Will-O-Wisp
ability: Levitate
item: Eviolite
evs: 120 HP / 252 SpA / 136 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
========

Nasty Plot allows Misdreavus to boost its boosts Misdreavus's Special Attack, allowing it to sweep. Shadow Ball is its Misdreavus's strongest STAB move and has with a good offensive typing. Dazzling Gleam hits Dark-type Pokemon, such as Sneasel and Mightyena, whilst also having perfect neutral coverage with Shadow Ball. Thunderbolt also has good neutral coverage but and hits Flying- and Water-type Pokemon such as Pelipper and Poliwrath harder. Taunt prevents status and phazing, allowing Misdreavus to set up on walls more easily, while Will-O-Wisp could be used to allow it Misdreavus to set up on physical attackers, (remove) and whittle the opponent foe down. Both Taunt and Will-O-Wisp These moves also provide team support, allowing Misdreavus to function outside of sweeping. Substitute can be used to block status and allow Misdreavus to set up on weaker hits; (semicolon) however, it can be phazed out and wears Misdreavus down and Misdreavus can be phazed out anyways.

Set Details
========

136 Speed EVs allows Misdreavus to outspeed and burn neutral-natured base 70's Speed Pokemon such as, allowing it to outspeed and burn Poliwrath and Mightyena. 252 Special Attack EVs and a Modest nature boost Misdreavus's power as much as possible. The remaining EVs go in HP, (remove comma) to boost its mixed bulk.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its good typing, Misdreavus can set up on a lot of Pokemon, (comma) such as Poliwrath and Golem. Due to its (you used that last sentence, and again at the end of this sentence...) Misdreavus's good natural bulk and typing allow it to, Misdreavus can take multiple hits, but it gets worn down quickly due to its lack of recovery. Misdreavus can also function as a Rapid Spin blocker, so it should be switched in on a predicted Rapid Spin. It is better used as a mid-game wallbreaker, as it lacks the speed and or strength to sweep by itself. Taunt should be used when necessary, when you predicting the opponent will use a status or phazing move.

Team Options
========

Fighting-types such as Throh and Poliwrath make for good partners, (comma) as they can sponge a Knock Off and can beat Dark-types such as Sneasel and Mightyena. Misdreavus also appreciates entry hazards, particularly from setters such as Golem and Glalie, to gradually weaken the opponent's team and allow it boosted Misdreavus to OHKO Grumpig and Tauros after boosts. Dark-type Pokemon, such as Sneasel and Mightyena, can beat faster Ghost-types such as Haunter. Wallbreakers, such as Marowak and Heatmor, are also appreciated, as they wear down the foe's opponent's bulky Pokemon that Misdreavus cannot break.

Defensive
########
name: Defensive
move 1: Foul Play / Shadow Ball
move 2: Will-O-Wisp
move 3: Pain Split
move 4: Taunt / Perish Song
ability: Levitate
item: Eviolite
evs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
nature: Timid

Moves
========

Foul Play helps it check physical attackers, (comma) as it can break Bouffalant's Substitutes from Bouffalant, while also allowing and allows Misdreavus to beat Ursaring and Tauros. Shadow Ball, (remove comma) is an equally good option, as it does more damage to specially based Pokemon and some walls; (semicolon) it also, unlike Foul Play, can break Poliwrath's Substitutes. Will-O-Wisp cripples physical attackers and gradually wears Pokemon down. Pain Split allows Misdreavus to recover health when low, but however it is unreliable, (comma) as it relies on the foe opponent being at high amounts of health. Taunt prevents Pokemon from trying to boost or set up entry hazards on it Misdreavus and prevents opposing walls from recovering. (period) whilst Perish Song acts as a win condition, (comma) as it beats setup sweepers and opposing walls. This; it is more important on stall teams, against bulky setup sweepers that cannot be phazed. Heal Bell can be used to clear its and its the team's status inflictions; however, it forces Misdreavus to makes Misdreavus give up on a way to beat setup sweepers and walls, and it sometimes has teammates which can Heal Bell.

Set Details
========

252 Defense and HP EVs boost its Misdreavus's physical defense as much as possible, helping it to wall physical attackers. 16 Speed EVs and a Timid nature allow it to outspeed neutral-natured base 65's Speed Pokemon, such as Flareon and Heatmor, whilst also allowing it to Taunt Huntail before it boosts, (remove comma) and burn Bouffalant before it Substitutes. 52 Speed EVs could be used instead to allow Misdreavus to outspeed and burn Mightyena.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its bulk and typing, Misdreavus can switch into plenty of physical attackers, such as Poliwrath and Piloswine, but it should not switch in too often, (comma) as it lacks reliable recovery. It also functions as a Rapid Spin blocker, so it should switch in on a predicted Rapid Spin. Spreading burns is Misdreavus's main (space) objective, however. (period) Taunt should be used to prevent Pokemon from setting up, inflicting status, or recovering health opposing recovery and status, whilst Shadow Ball can finish off weakened Pokemon and break Substitutes. (period) Use and Pain Split should be used when it is on when Misdreavus is at low health. Avoiding Knock Off is crucial, as not only will it do a lot of damage, but it prevents Misdreavus from walling as effectively.

Team Options
========

As it can block Rapin Spin, Misdreavus pairs well with Stealth Rock setters, such as Torterra and Piloswine, and Spikes and Toxic Spikes setters, such as Roselia, as Misdreavus functions as a spin blocker. Heal Bell users prevent Misdreavus from getting warn down to worn down too quickly by status. Normal-type Pokemon, such as Lickilicky, can beat Ghost-types such as Haunter and other Misdreavus, whilst Misdreavus can switch into Fighting-type moves for them. Fighting-types, such as Throh and Poliwrath, can switch into a Knock Off and can beat Dark-types. Misdreavus works well on stall-based teams, (comma) as it checks common stallbreakers such as Tauros and Bouffalant, but it can also work effectively in offense as a glue Pokemon.

Other Options
########

A Calm Mind set could be used to allow Misdreavus to set up on specially attacking Pokemon, whilst a specially defensive spread could be used to wall them. Magic Coat could be used to bounce back entry hazards. (period), whilst Memento provides support for a teammate to set up, (comma) and Destiny Bond could be used in order for Misdreavus to punishes the opponent for KOing Misdreavus, though it (change it to they if the following applies to both Memento and Destiny Bond) when KO'ing it, however has limited usage due to its Misdreavus's middling Speed. Lastly, Thunder Wave could be used to cripple offensive Pokemon, and Toxic wears walls down quicker, however but Will-O-Wisp has overall better utility.

Checks & Counters
########
**Knock Off**: Knock Off hits Misdreavus super effectively and removes its removes Misdreavus's Eviolite, significantly decreasing its bulk. It also does large amounts of damage due it being super effective. Sneasel can outspeed and deal heavy damage due to its high Attack and STAB Knock Off being STAB, whilst Throh can survive a live hit or and get a Guts boost if burnt.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially bulky Pokemon, such as Bastiodon and Togetic, can easily survive live a boosted hit and retaliate back with status or phazing, h. However, (comma) they both have to watch out for Taunt, although but Bastiodon can bounce it back with Mirror Coat (Magic Coat?).

**Offensive Type Advantage**: Dark-types such as Sneasel and Mightyena can outspeed depending on the set, and deal heavy damage with their Dark STAB Dark-type moves, but they have to be wary of Will-O-Wisp. Mightyena also the latter gets an Attack boost if it KOes Misdreavus, however have to be weary of Will-O-Wisp. Ghost-types, (remove comma) such as Haunter can outspeed and deal heavy damage to Misdreavus; however, they need chip damage to KO and Misdreavus can OHKO with Shadow Ball.

**Normal-types**: Bulky Normal-type Pokemon, such as Lickilicky, are is immune to Misdreavus's STAB moves, takes little damage from its coverage moves, can deal heavy damage with Knock Off or phaze it out with Dragon Tail, (comma) and can clear its status with Heal Bell. Bouffalant and Tauros can set up a Substitute and wall defensive Misdreavus but cannot do much in return depending on their coverage moves. Ursaring gets an Attack boost from Will-O-Wisp, can take a Dazzling Gleam, (comma) and can retaliate back with Crunch. (period)

**Fire-types**: Bulky Fire-types, such as Camerupt and Heatmor can easily switch into a Will-O-Wisp and then set up entry hazards or deal heavy damage to Misdreavus with their Fire-type STAB moves, but they however dislike taking boosted hits. Like Heatmor, Ninetales gets a Flash Fire boost when switching into a Will-O-Wisp, (comma) and it can then set up Nasty Plots (with the way this was worded, it seemed like Heatmor also could set up Nasty Plot).

Offensive pressure also makes it hard for Misdreavus to set up Nasty Plots, due to threatening to 2HKO it or wearing it or the ability to wear Misdreavus down to the point where that it is easily revenge killed.
btw, some stuff for future reference, for both of you:

I walked to the bank; however, it was closed.
If you're using 'however' like this, it needs the semicolon before it and the comma after it.

The room was cold, as I had left the air conditioning on.
If you're using 'as' like this, it needs the comma before it.
