XY OU A Noob's First RMT

So, still trying to figure out what to do with this team, I think it'll end up as a stall team as that seems to be the direction it's taking.

Tyranitar@Tyranitarite
Sand Stream
Brave Nature
252 HP/240 Atk/16 Sp. Atk
-Ice Punch
-Crunch
-Stealth Rock
-Fire Blast
Have taken suggestions into account and put some EVs into Sp. Atk. Edited moves as well.

Gliscor@Toxic Orb
Poison Heal
Impish Nature
252 HP/252 Def/4 Spe
-Protect
-Toxic
-Earthquake
-Roost
Gave him back EQ, still thinking about Taunt. Haven't actually tested any of these changes yet, though.

Starmie has been removed from the team. Toying with a few Excadrill sets.

Ferrothorn@Rocky Helmet
Iron Barbs
Relaxed Nature
252 Hp/252 Def/4 Atk
-Curse
-Gyro Ball
-Protect
-Leech Seed
Making the team a bit more stally.

Lucario has been removed from the team. Working on a Lati@s.

Aron has been removed from the team. Magnemite is just better. Less counters and fits better with the team.

(Level 1) Swagnemite@Berry Juice
Sturdy
-Toxic
-Recycle
-Protect
Left this one alone. For now. With the anti-FEAR feedback, I have scrapped Aron and may scrap Magnemite but he still has one more chance

Thank you for the feedback, hope to test this team soon as I fill the gaping hole made by the scrapping of three 'mons.

If you want to stick with the FEAR Pokemon that's all good, but I'm not going to touch on that area since it's not my thing. But lets get into it shall we.

So first is your lead! it's great that you already know that every good team needs a good lead, but this Tyranitar could be better!
If you're going to use Tyranitar as a lead you're going to want him to have stealth rock and a mixed set. I'd also suggest swapping his mega stone for a focus sash to guarantee you getting stealth rocks up!

Tyranitar@Focus Sash
Sand Stream
Relaxed Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 32 SpA / 96 SpD
-Stealth rock
-Crunch
-Ice Beam
-Fire blast/Flamethrower

So we have Fire blast there for Scizor and Skarmory. And we have ice beam for intimidate Landorous-T, landorous leads, and other flying types!
Stealth rock is self explanatory, set up hazard. I changed the EV's around for added bulk since all he really needs to do is get up rocks and his coverage moves can hit nicely, with crunch there for his primary STAB move.
Next let's get into Gliscor!
gliscor.gif

Gliscor@Toxic Orb
Poison Heal
Impish Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spe
-Protect
-Toxic
-Earthquake
-Taunt

The 72 Ev's in speed make him quite fast while he's still bulky to eat physical hits with that solid 125 base defense stat and the rest of his EV's dumped in Bulk and defense.Your current set had no attacking moves which is a no no, yes his main purpose is to toxic stall, but he needs to be able to attack in the case where is gets smacked with a taunt. With added speed he'll be able to outspeed pokemon like Mew, venusaur, and tyranitar; Pokemon who don't like taunt! other than that your gliscor is on the money.
As for starmie, I think Excadrill would be a much better fit going well with tyranitar, still rapid spinning (Which is your starmie's role), and it's Ground, Rock, and Steel coverage, but I must say doing this makes your team very weak to water, so you may want to switch out one of those FEAR Pokemon for a nice grass type.
excadrill.gif

Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Tomb
- Rapid Spin

-Sand rush, since you're going to have access to sand with Tyranitar I see no reason not have it.

-Air balloon, Outclasses Scarfed, life orbed, and Ass vested Excadrills

-EQ, Primary STAB

-Iron Head, Secondary STAB

-Rock tomb, Coverage, lowers speed allowing Excadrill to finish off a fast mon if sand isn't up or force a switch and gain a free turn

-Rapid Spin, get rid of those dreadful hazards.
Now let's talk about Ferrothorn!
ferrothorn.gif

Ferrothorn@Leftovers
Relaxed Nature
252 Hp/252 Def/4 Atk
-Stealth Rock/Toxic
-Gyro Ball
-Protect
-Leech Seed

Very Simmalir to your set, but this set goes more for stall, which I see your team is based around. Stealth Rocks are there just in case you don't manage to get them up or they get spun/defoged out. Toxic is also an option if you want to toxic and leech seed a pokemon and wall break. Added protect to scout out sneaky HP fires. Ferrothorn is very weak to fire and you really don't have a switch in for that, again you may want to drop that FEAR core for some added support on your team, which I'll talk about in my conclusion.
You say you want to swap lucario out for a special attacker? I like that! I have just the pokemon for you.
latios.gif

Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
- Psyshock

-Thunderbolt for coverage.

-Psyshock his Secondary STAB hit's that dreadful Mega-Venusaur.

-Life orb to make his hits count! 252 in SPA and Speed because he's there to be an all out attacker and 4 in HP for added bulk

-Defog, to get rid of those hazards (Be careful of defiant) and keep in mind it gets rid of your hazards as well.

-Draco as his Primary STAB
Now, I understand you want to play this "FEARMON" core, but really when it comes down to it, it's not going to pan out, either way, it's your choice but here is an option if you change your mind.
venusaur-mega.gif

Venusaur-Mega @ Venusaurite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 64 SpA / 64 SpD
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis/Leech seeds

-Mega Venusaur covers your Ferrothorns weaknesses, along side Excadrills as well and Gliscor. Eating Ice beams, EQ's, Fire blast etc.

-Giga drain being a great STAB move that hits hard and allows him to gain some added HP

-Sludge Bomb being his Primary STAB move, that also happens to handle fairies nicely.

-HP Fire for ferrothorn and scizor.

-Synthesis to gain back needed HP/Leech seeds to stall break.

-Ev set: Based around Physical DEF with some SPD Investments along with little SPA investments to allow him to hit.
I tried my best to not change your team around to much since it is your team and not mine, I hope I didn't get carried away and feel free to make changes under your discretion, it's your team not mine. I just hope this helped and any questions or comments just shoot me a reply!

Thanks for the feedback! I have looked over your suggestions and thought about them, and have decided that this really is more of a stall team. So, Fearon goes away, so does Lucario, haven't decided on replacements quite yet. Also, I like the idea of a mixed TTar. So I might do that as well. I actually used to run Earthquake on Gliscor but dropped it awhile back, might put it back on since I'm still trying to get a good feel for the metagame. I probably won't use Butt Flower MegaSaur, but it's possible.

You want the harsh truth buddy? You're not going to peak 1200 using Fear sets. They're bad and predictable. They're countered by ghost types almost anything with status, enery hazards ground types, steel types, rock types. I could go on, but the truth is. They're horrible. If you want to run stall there are plenty of other options to use, Venusaur, Alomolomolomononona, Skarmory, Chansey, Blissey, Quagsire, Heatran ect. It goes on. Just remove the F.E.A.R sets.
EDIT: And since you called yourself a noob, you might as well listen to other people suggestions, since they're only trying to help and hopefully have some experience to back up their arguments

Funnily enough, I already have made 1200 with the FEAR set. However, I have scrapped Aron completely already, Magnemite still has one more chance with me. I agree, FEARs are not that great compared to some other things, but I'm not trying to get a massively amazing ladder rating. I'm trying for a moderately decent one and I really only play this game at all to have fun. Maybe being the very best is you're thing, but it's not mine. Also, Alomomola? Um, I guess so? I suppose I wouldn't really know but I thought no one liked Alomomola.
