Excadrill has one viable move and that's poison jab. Poison jab helps it to poison strong walls like slowbro, cresselia, and porygon2 eviolite. You should run defog on latios or latias because when u rapid spin and people notice your scarfed, they can set up much easier to sweep your team.
I don't think poisoning things has anything to do with it. It's honestly just a filler move since Scarf Exca is pretty bad anyways and doesn't have a lot of options other than that move set.

Poison Jab doesn't help with any of the things you mentioned. A 30% chance for regular poison isn't significant enough to deal with those things.

Tiering exists in three levels, or tracks if you will.

OU - UU - RU - NU - PU - FU

Ubers

Little Cup - LC UU

Bans in those tiers exist independently of other tiers in other tracks. For example, if UU bans Shadow Tag, then Shadow Tag is banned in UU and every tier below it. If OU bans BP, then OU and every tier below it on it's "track" also bans it. However, Little Cup and Ubers bans exist separate bans in OU. If Ubers did ban Shadow Tag, no other tier would be forced to ban it.

Except Ubers is a tier now, so it is on the same track as OU, and every tier below it. I believe AG is on the track that Ubers was, as AG isn't a tier.

If you read Chaos's thread about that announcement, it is said multiple times in the thread that while Ubers is a tier, usage in Ubers will not be used to determine OU's Banlist and will still be treated as its own tier separate from that track.

No, Little Cup is a tier as well and it wasn't affected by UU's Drought Ban so it's not that simp. If Ubers bans Shadow Tag OU is unaffected and vice versa. There is no interplay between what the two do other than OU sending broken things to Ubers. Things will not be dropped based on usage from Ubers based on usage, clauses in the two tiers exist separately. OU is the most fundamental tier, and if Ubers was impacted by what OU did Evasion would be banned in Ubers as well and it's not.

Other than Scolipede and Celebi, are there any currently viable Baton Passers? Blaziken is banned, so the only others that catch my eye are Togekiss , Sylveon, and Espeon (which feels gimmicky, but maybe just because I can't think of it without seeing Magic Bounce shenanigans).

(Scolipede and Celebi are both excellent, I'm just theorycrafting).

On the ladder I see Ninjask, but that doesn't necessarily make it viable.

Um, Smeargle?

This really depends on what kind of boosts you are trying to pass. Is there a stat in particular you want to buff and pass?

Hey, just got to Latios in ORAS. Going to SR for a good one now.

I've noticed Smogon suggests a Timid nature, could someone run through the reasoning for this with me? Whats stopping you from going with a Modest nature and have a greater stat return on Sp Atk? Is there a specific threat to Latios that demands it needs the extra speed?

Brief List:

Swords Dance: Scizor, Scolipede, Mew

Nasty Plot: Togekiss, Celebi, Mew

Geomancy: Smeargle

Shell Smash: Gorebyss

Quiver Dance: Venomoth

Calm Mind: Sylveon

Gengar, Mega Gallade, Mega Metagross and other base 110 Pokemon speed ties with Timid Latios lacking HP Fire. If you run Modest you will be outsped every time.
Not to mention, it hits everything it needs to hard enough with Timid.

Does Mold Breaker negate abilities that AFFECT damage/moves, or just abilities that reduce damage?

For example, if I hit a Heavy Metal Bronzong with Mold Breaker Low Kick, does Mold Breaker negate the Heavy Metal weight, even though it would make Low Kick stronger?

I believe it would still negate him.

Mold Breaker
Abilities that hinder attacks are nullified.

I know it's also based on the team, but in general, which Greninja set nets the most coverage and struggles against the least amount of pokemon?

Is Soul Dew banned in OU? I checked the tier lists and did not see it as a banned item in OU. Has it simply not been added to the page yet or is it now usable in OU?
