XY OU MegaMedi HO team (Peaked 1500 and fell, help meh pls)

SUP GUYSS so this is my first RMT! Criticism would be greatly appreciated :D
The intention of this team was to build around MegaMedicham as well as NP Celebi because celebi has always been my favorite legendary. Anyway, let's get started now.

DaRealFairy (Celebi) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 44 SpA / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Baton Pass
- Earth Power
- Giga Drain

Nasty plot celebi, pretty straight forward. Surprisingly, NP celebi has proven to be a massive offensive pressure in this meta. 44 SpA EVs are there to guarantee a 2hko on heatran before boosting. 16 Speed EVs to outspeed adamant bisharp. The rest of it invested in bulk to allow for setting up. Even before setting up to sweep, celebi fills a great supporting role by absorbing status as well (dat ability) Added baton pass over recover- helps me retain momentum as well as giving me the opportunity to pass +2SpA to heatran and raikou.

Not a Fairy (Azumarill) @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 216 HP / 252 Atk / 40 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Superpower

Standard CB set. 40 EVs thrown into speed for mirror matches. Superpower over knock off so he can take out ferros more easily in addition to hitting skarmory super effectively after a roost. I picked azumarill CB because I wanted to give this team a really solid revenge killing ability. Banded aqua jet does wonders for this.

Maxie (Raikou) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 32 SpD / 224 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball

Dropped crawdaunt for this guy. It adds voltturn potential as well as specially offensive pressure. Not to mention he can receive a nasty plot boost from celebi. Coupled with heatran and landoT, he also helps handle my bird weakness.

Medicham_Mega_XY_Shiny_Sprite.gif

Senju (Medicham-Mega) @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 56 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 196 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- High Jump Kick
- Zen Headbutt
- Ice Punch

MegaMedi <3
The core of this team, and one of my favorite megas. 196 speed to outspeed jolly mamo, rest in bulk. I chose sub over fake out or additional coverage because medicham forces a ton of switches. I considered drain punch over HJK to allow for more subs and survivability, but HJK is too powerful to deny.

GoddamBirds (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Roar
- Lava Plume

Needed a tflame/bird counter. Heatran gets the job done. Also makes a great SR setter for my team. I just removed protect for roar after realizing set up sweepers may give me a problem. Roar also allows me to rack up some hazard damage, weakening mons for a late game sweep.

LeftiesOrScarf..? (Landorus-Therian) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Rock Slide

It's reeeeally hard not to use lando right now. I was running a spikes diggersby set before, but my team really appreciates the speed of scarfed lando. Not to mention explosion has made a great addition to the team- allows me to suicide, and then send in medicham or celebi to set up. EDIT: removed explosion for rock slide. Still unsure of whether I'll keep this, more testing required.

And that's the team! I laddered into the early 1500s a few days ago, and then managed to fall back to 1380 throughout last night while fighting the urge to sleep... I've been stuck in the lower ladder pretty much since ORAS came out, and it's slowly eating away my soul. If you could help me get my mojo back I'll love you forever. Leave comments or questions please and thank you =l:-}D (it's supposed to be a dude with a top hat and twirly stache, tell me that isn't dope)
EDIT: After changes and some testing, I've made it back to 1500. Hopefully going to keep climbing!

Cool team bro. But I think explosion is more of a suicide lead move than a lando-t one and I would suggest changing it to rock slide / SE to take Talonflame out. Hmm as for Crawdaunt, it's pointless to outspeed Rotom-W unless you set up before it comes in otherwise it's an OHKO for rotom with volt switch. Also your team is all physical except celebi and once that's out your team will be crying if burned. And Slowbro mega will definitely wall you till tomorrow thanks to shell armour you can't crit it and it will eat Knock Off all day and can easily burn with Scald.

Hope I helped :)

Thanks for the input!

I've been running explosion because it's such high damage while few things resist it- but perhaps stone edge or rock slide would be better suited. I'll give em a shot!

The main reason I've been considering the jolly spread on crawdaunt is this,
252 Atk Life Orb Adaptability Crawdaunt Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Rotom-W: 185-218 (60.8 - 71.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Compared to aqua jet, which doesn't even manage 20% :( this would allow me to hit rotom on the switch and then finish him off with another knock off. Or, it would allow me to SD on the switch and then hit with knock off. Does that change your mind at all, or is that still not a great idea?

I wasn't too worried about the imbalance between special/physical attackers just because so many physical walls would fall to heatran (ferrothorn, skarmory) as for Mslowbro, celebi would totally beat it, would it not? I suppose I'd have to worry about fireblast/icebeam, but even so I think between nasty plot and giga drain I'd be alright, no?

I meant physical walls would trouble after celebi fell and Jolly bisharp outspeeds and does decent damage on knock off. Might wanna look into that.

Hmmm that's a good point. The lack of special pressure might make it harder for celebi to sweep. Any suggestions?

Why not try raikou or thunderus. They both cover mega bro and do massive damage. Moreover they form a good voltturn core with lando-t. Since both azu and Crawdaunt perform the same role you could replace one of them.

I made some changes based on your input as well as that of some friends. I'll add em now, but here's the summary

a) Replaced crawdaunt with AV raikou
b) Replaced recover on celebi with baton pass
c) Replaced explosion on landoT with rock slide

You could also try zap plate/magnet instead of AV. Seeing raikou most people think of AV or specs. And in this team it would stand to reason that it'd an AV one. Using this bluff, you could smack many mons for extra damage.
