Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

as stupid as it sounds, flareon has a respectable base 95 SpA so.... Flamethrower is still a stupid choice but not nearly as idiotic as something like giga drain leafeon.
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YAWN VAPOREON!
I'll trust you on Vaporeon as I've actually seen it put in work on Monotype teams before. As for Flamethrower Flareon, yes it's freakin' stupid because 95 base Sp. Atk <<< 130 base Attack. Flare Blitz plz. But yes Special Leafeon is the (second or third) stupidest thing in the history of ever.

Yawn Vaporeon is anything but silly, in fact, its quite innovative and good. A specail attacker trying to setup on Vaporeon will be shocked by Yawn. Yawn is an extremely good move that catches many players off balance on stuff they didnt expect to have it. Also sometimes you can spam Yawn causing them to switch pokemon many times thus making them take more damage from hazards. I myself run Yawn on my Vaporeon and have caught tons of specail attackers off guard.

Random Shit: Energy Ball Crits Edition

No replay, but a Middle Cup battle where Graveler, the last mon on its (5 mon) team, blows up on a Charmeleon and doesn't kill it.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206206908
Reshiram with Solarbeam with no sun/Power Herb. And the requisite "what the fuck are these doing in AG" mons.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-206206944
Solarbeam with sun, for a change. Only it was against a Heatran. From a special Arcanine, which kinda sucks tbh.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pokecommunity-monotype-126304
Dragon Claw normal Aerodactyl. Seriously, that isn't necessary. Also starring Rock Wrecker Rhyperior.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogontriples-206208135
More unnecessary coverage, this time Return Megagross.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/challengecup1vs1-206211975
That moment when a resisted move gets an OHKO.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206209669
Swalot EQ'ing a Rotom (also, Swalot), Fire Blast+Thunder+Blizzard+Iron Tail MegaTar, physical Togekiss, Brave Bird+Hurricane normal Pidgeot, and a turn 15 that speaks for itself.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-206210776
Protip: Use Power Trick with Shuckle BEFORE using Gyro Ball. Also, here's something for that sixth slot: something that can help Magikarp and two Shedinjas that have no hazard control.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206210458
I would make fun of that Snorlax for Belly Drumming with that kind of pressure put on it, but it lived to Rest and force a ragequit. Also, per the chat, using a Versilify team in AG at all.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-206212451
I don't understand some people.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-206213578
Sticky Hold will not save you from Focus Miss, it would seem.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogontriples-206213560
Dat wall of text.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/fu-206210395
Assault Vest Frogadier new meta.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206211115
Let's see... Me First Talonflame, physical Mega Sableye who doesn't understand Fake Out, Air Balloon Dark Pulse Cofagrigus, Focus Sash Slaking using Retaliate AGAINST A GHOST MONO (TWICE), Foul Play Zoroark, normal Banette, and Dark Pulse Gengar.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206211016
All three Kanto starters and not a single one Mega Evolved. Venusaur and Charizard had Outrage. And Focus Blast MMX.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/fu-206213379
Attract everywhere, and a Sawsbuck with Solarbeam and... wait for it... RAIN DANCE.

Edit: ksr15 gave me my 1000th like. Woot.

Focus Punch + Foul Play Darkrai, Tyranitar without any STAB, Garchomp using Poison Jab on Giratina, Greninja being surprisingly slower than said non-scarf Garchomp, Blizzard Arceus-Dragon and... HYPER BEAM SWAMPERT!

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206431770
That Fake Out Mega-Kangaskhan was pretty obvious, especially when you've already revealed Protect and, despite the enemy's Tailwind, you'd be faster anyways starting on the next turn. Also starring Cradily letting Skarmory spam hazards and Choice Scarf Kabutops.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-206433895
Level 55 Tyranitar and FEAR Aron vs. Thunderbolt Chansey (well, maybe it was expecting a Toxic instead of a Thunderbolt). And a few other odd Pokémon here and there.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-206440695
Now this guy learns that Imprison + Transform Smeargle exists. However, Charizard being slower than Smeargle is quite strange... (defensive variant, maybe?)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-206440787
"Haha! It takes more than a simple special strike to penetrate my defenses!" - Goodra's thoughts while tanking random Thunders, Bug Buzzes and Surfs.

BH tour battle (the players btw):
★ubers ez: what is balanced hackmons
★MattG6: Idk

Their teams weren't terrible, nor were they really bad players, but I am just posting this as they joined a BH tour (actually Kektus Challenge) and didn't even know what BH is. It happens fairly often, but I felt like it needed to be here somewhere. Also this time it wasn't advertised in lobby or tours.

Quick Claw Starmie being an annoying haxy bastard.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206943382
Togekiss vs. Dark Pulse Giratina-O, Flame Wheel Typhlosion, Torrent Greninja, and normal Pidgeot.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206937130
I see what this guy was trying to do, he just failed miserably at it.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-206942515
Assault Vest Zapdos and Bright Powder Zebstrika. Also, Plusle and Electabuzz, but neither was sent out.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206944498
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory by using Dark Void on Espeon.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206942130
Moonblast Mega Altaria, itemless Ninjask, and Gyro Ball Mega Steelix on a Sticky Web team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/triplescustomgame-206945247
What is even going on here? Never mind the random Aguav Berries and attacking of teammates, but Focus Punch Abomasnow with no sub, and my personal favorite: Avalanche Deoxys-S. Gotta go fail.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-206946934
Please, for the love of all that is holy, STOP MIXING UP GHOST TYPE WITH DARK TYPE.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206949028
SmashPass vs. Metronome Chanseys.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-206949906
Please stop bringing OU teams into BH. Especially shitty ones. Although, impressively, this team only lost 1-0 to a team that was half Assist cancer.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pu-206950446
Physical Assault Vest Lickilicky is bad. Special Assault Vest Lickilicky is worse.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-206950657
A rare win for an Eeveelution team. Of course, look at what it was going up against.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-206951697
Given the movesets, it took me a while to figure out that this was, in fact, BH. And the 4 mon team with normal Charizard wins, albeit just barely.

I lost the replay, but the battle log of this 1v1 game went something like this. I had mawile, mence, zard, he had greninja, azu, and graveler

Megazard sent out mawile! Intimidate and shit!
Other guy sent out graveler
Mawile mega evolved and used iron head! It's super effective! Graveler lost 99%!
Graveler used double edge! It did 2%! Graveler is hit by recoil! Graveler fainted!

Edit: Balanced Hackmons means just bring a lot of legends, right?

I've brought back an fun team from the past that managed to allow myself to peak at #69 (not impressive, but it is my highest on any ladder except after the ladder reset, where I got to #29 or something like that). I'm posting some silly things I see on my way up the ladder.

Ladder Logs, star date entry 1.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-207261933
This team's first battle since I lost all my teams happens to be against someone using Genesect (I've seen sillier, but still. BH Genesect is stupid.). Also, switching Imposter Blissey into Mega Gengar is one of the dumbest things you can do. Especially if it has used Judgment earlier.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-207264962
How to win in BH: Do nothing. Wait for timer to make your opponent lose.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-207265941
Not really a silly team, but he did switching out his Contrary with boosts to an Imposter Chansey when my Giratina had a substitute up is very dumb. Also featuring Iron Head Life Orb non-Protean/Contrary Deoxys-A for a "Shedinja Counter."

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-207270151
This team isn't that silly, but notice his Elo. Silly for where he is on the ladder.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-207273681
outlandishlicker. Worst username, and not a great team.

Might I add that these battles were as close as I could get to consecutive silly battles? (I missed a battle in between the second and third battles because I dced.)

More battles will come!

Edit:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-207279906

It doesn't show the full stupidity. Primal Groudon had Precipice Blades, Fire Punch, Bolt Strike and Dragon Ascent. I don't know what his ability was, but Fire Punch is never the best STAB for Primal Groudon, and neither is Precipice Blades. His best STAB is always Thousand Arrows.

Random Shit: Superb Owl Edition

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-207337796
Charizard Mega Evolving into Zard-Y and promptly using Sunny Day. Later, Gyro Ball Magnezone, Thunder Wave Gallade, and Hydro Pump Azumarill.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-207339685
Air Balloon Scolipede and Shell Smash+Gyro Ball Contrary Shuckle.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-207337676
Poison Jab+Fire Punch Mega Gengar, Future Sight Mewtwo, Hypnosis Darkrai, Giga Drain Ferrothorn, and the Gengar proceeding to use Poison Jab on the Ferrothorn. I would also make fun of Tyrantrum using Head Smash without Rock Head, but it's still a few weeks before we get that.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pu-207337019
Eviolite Pikachu, Attract Pignite, and Tranquill on a team of all middle evolutions. This is not Middle Cup, and even if it were, it would still suck. (Never mind the Eviolite ban in MC.)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-207338207
Mega Evolving your Alakazam in front of a Slaking is new meta strategies, folks.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-207341627
And the Bidoofs nearly won.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-207341382
What is this I don't even.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-207340373
Low ladder AG never ceases to amaze disappoint.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-207344069
A game of magnets, aliens, Poison Jab against Magnemite, and flinchhax.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-207343329
More AG dumbness, and the first successful use of Fell Stinger I have ever seen.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pokecommunity-monotype-128579
Sash Golurk, Sandslash, and Camerupt going out with a bang. Literally.

Eat your heart out, Jirachi.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-207343384
Speaking of hax, even Skymin isn't the worst offender. Later, Alakazam Mega Evolving in front of Serperior and promptly using Calm Mind.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-207348127
Uh, yeah...

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-207347700
The funniest part was Illusion Arceus appearing as Zorua.
