Hello everyone, my name is PresidentBubblebeam. I've been lurking here on the smogon forums for quite a while now, and made an account just last month. Can't say I've been a part of competitive battling as long as some of the other people here (late Gen 5), but Pokemon has been a big part of my life since Gen 3! As of now, I'm hoping to make a ton of new friends and learn a lot more about competitive Pokemon! :D

Can I call you Bubble? Or Mr. President? I myself have been a competitive battler only since this Generation, but just after XY. Pokemon has also been a big part of my life since Gen 3 (Emerald <3). Have a good time here on the forums!
How's it going guys? My first pokemon game was yellow, and havnt played since gold and silver. I am looking foward to getting back into pokemon training with the current generation of games. I joined smogon to learn about the competitive side of pokemon and to interact with other players/trainers. I look foward to making some new friends, and hopefully learn a few things along the way :)

Hi I'm Terion made my account some months ago as you can I tell by my Profile pic I love Manga/Anime Fav one is Tokyo Ghoul (Best Mother Fukn Manga and Anime IMO) first started playing pokemon when I was 5 first was pokemon game was pokemon Red fav gen 5 th really love the storyline for it fav poke in Chandalure ..........so hi also I love people who can draw/edit pics if you can tech me you're ways Senpai >(* v*)>

Anime, eh? The only anime I watch is Pokemon... My first Pokemon playthrough was that of Emerald, around age 11. My favorite Pokemon is Lucario. Check out the Smeargle's Studio subforum to check out some of our great artists, like unfixable and Tikitik! Have fun!

I've been playing around since a couple months i guess, faced very talented people in Showdown and now the mega metagross suspect test made me want to become part of this community, made it to 2700 coil and now im' ready to vote, but most importantly i hope we get along!
good luck! keep up the good work, i studied the previous bans and metagame changes this community has done and I think it is a very nice job, very "pro" thinking there

I'm a boardgames geek loving strategy games, and discovered recently the deepness of pokemon strategy, so I decided to give it a try, and loved it !
I played red and yellow version when I was young (without any strategy), and came back with... ROSA (now I am also playing Y to complete my pokedex)
I prefer playing with 3ds rather than showdown (today...) and I enjoyed the nintendo rosa tournament, where I have learnt a lot of things (after a bad start, I finished with a sequence of 10 wins :) )
I had a good time breeding 6 5iv for this event, after a long ditto-hunt (search level 350 with navidex). Now I prepare for double tournament.
I came to smogon to learn from the strategic sets described here, I am quite confused with the english pokemon/attacks names (I'm french) but will try to learn them (or program a greasemonkey script to translate those names)
The community seems to be nice, so happy to be here :)

Hi Smogon, this is s0nido here. I've actually been here for just over a year, but have been fairly quiet during that time (as evidenced by my post count). I came to Smogon after a friend of mine got me into competitive Pokemon, a field of Pokemon which I never thought to delve into until he beat me about 300 times. I initially looked up good movesets on Serebii and various other sites, but then I found this site and never looked back. I'm posting here to make some friends and actually get to know the community that I've been a part of for a year a bit better. Don't hesitate to talk to me! :D

Hey, just found out about this site. I am just getting into competitive battling so I am learning the basics and plan to eventually become world-class. I've been playing since 1stGen and stopped at 2ndGen, then picking it back up at 5thGen. I just started reading the manga, but I've been collecting the cards since back in the day (Base, Fossil, Jungle). I have X and AS, and plan on buying the other 2 games soon. Lately, I've been shiny-hunting, but now I am looking into EV/IV training. Pretty anxious to start!
Oooh, do you mean the Pokemon Adventures/Pokemon Special manga? I love that series :D I even asked my friend's dad to pick up some volumes for me when he went on a business trip to Singapore (back before they released the GSC arc in the US).
In my ~12 years of playing Pokemon, I have literally never run into a shiny (aside from... Red Gyarados). I know there are methods that make it easier now, but I'm way too lazy, so props to you for shiny hunting *__*

I got here on this website while I was looking for some pokemon breeding tips! But let me start form the beginning.. :D
It all started almost 15 years ago when I bought pokemon red for my gameboy! I was 12 ish and I was a really good on fighting with other people that I even started to carry around my system link cable so that I can challenge kids wherever I want!
Meanwhile something new happened to me, I found out that the world was filled with girls! so I never bought the second generation games and I did'nt played pokemon anymore until almost a year ago when I get to have a deal where I could buy a nintendo2ds for a few bucks! So I had the console but no games and choice was pretty obvious.. I wanted to give a shot to the second generation that I missed so many years before..I bought pokemon Heartgold!
I get so involved in the game that my last girlfriend decided to stop dating me, but hey! you know what? I have tiny monsters to catch and the realtionship was going anywhere! (yes I'm joking)
Anyway! Here I am, playing on pokemon Y right now and still deciding what to do with ORAS, should I buy it immediately or finish this kalos game first? (I am hunting down legendaries..so it's almost done unless I decide to complete all pokedexs).
Actually I have so many questions to ask but before I do that I want to get some time to read dozens of topic here on smogon to get my mind clear on what to do as a pokemon trainer!
Meanwhile I'd like to add friends for the safari friends thing and also for trading the one that I couldn't get on Y!
I play when I have time but I work 8 hours a day, you can pm me if you want more details on trades, also I'll start looking for players here on the forum!
