Mango (Dragonite) (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- ExtremeSpeed
The star of the team - Mango the Dragonite. My absolute favourite Pokemon I just had to base a team around. If only he had a Mega. Anyway, his main function here is Physical Sweeper, setting up a Ddance and ruining most opposition with EQ and Outrage (once those pesky fairies have been eliminated). Espeed is awesome for revenge kills, and the Lum Berry gives Mango a one-time get out of burn/confusion free card so he can continue sweeping. Of course, we don't want any stealth rocks or spikes breaking that beautiful Multiscale ability, so we have a spinner in the form of Starmie.

Starmie @
Ability:
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Psyshock

Starmie functions primarily as a spinner to help keep Dragonite healthy, but also as a sort of switch in to Ice type attacks should you need it. Psyshock and Hydro Pump are obligatory stab moves hitting really hard well in combination with Life Orb + Analytic. HP Fire is needed as I have no other fire coverage on my team and can be used to take out big threats like Ferrothorn (thanks Lunistrius for improving my Starmie set!)

Checkmate (Bisharp) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Low Kick
Fairies are a huge threat to Dragonite, so in comes Bisharp with Iron Head. That's really his main purpose, but he comes with some other benefits too. Knock Off is almost essential to most teams now and Bisharp hits really hard with it. Sucker Punch is there for priority which can really help him clean up late-game especially if he has a Defiant boost. Low Kick is there as opposed to Swords Dance because I have no fighting coverage elsewhere.

Mr. Floss (Raikou) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Pressure
EVs:
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
I like having a hard hitting assault vester on my teams, and Raikou fills this slot nicely. His speed and special attack are nothing to be messed with and his ability to Volt Switch gives my team some much needed momentum. Thunderbolt is there for when something slightly more damaging is needed. Shadow Ball for coverage and HP Ice for removing some more serious threats (Lando-T, Gliscor, Garchomp).

Primal (Venusaur) (M) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP /
Bold Nature
- Leech Seed
- Synthesis
- Sludge Bomb
- Giga Drain
It was at this point I realized I needed a mega. Venusaur is one I haven't used before and he's a great tank that can dish out some mean damage too. Sludge Bomb gives him a way to deal with fairies if needed, which helps support Dragonite. Leech Seed and Synthesis give him much more longevity and Leech Seed in particular can force a lot of switches. He takes most of the physical hits on the team and doesn't need cleric support to stay alive.

Pretty Boy (Sylveon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Heal Bell
- Protect
- Wish

Pretty Boy (Clefable) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Stealth Rock
- Heal Bell
The new cleric of the team. Clefable is here to replace Sylveon as he gets the benefit of Stealth Rocks (something my team really needed, again, thanks Lunistrius), while still maintaining the healing capabilities that really help keep my team on their feet. Not to mention, it counters the dragons that can threaten Dragonite. Unaware is nice for general reasons. Moonblast = obligatory stab. Heal Bell is essential for removing any crippling status conditions that could hinder Dragonite and any other team members. Wish is obvious.
Thanks to some great suggestions my team is looking a lot stronger but I definitely wouldn't mind any more improvements if anyone spots anything.
