That was true up to gen5. In gen 6 there's no such restriction anymore.

In gen 6, it's a 60% chance to pass the hidden ability from the female, (with or without Ditto) and a 20% chance from the male if breeding with Ditto.
And I'm ninja'd by a crazy blue Nidoking... go figure.

It won't work, the female ability takes over whatever hidden ability the male could have (in this case you'd end up with a great ball blaze cyndaquil), the male ability only passes down when the other parent is a ditto (and ditto's ability is always irrelevant).

It's a matter of preference, same as Gyarados really. Though for comparison sake

This thing does hit really hard on anything with the SF boost

Only marginally weaker without.

I was SRing Darkrai in Y and made a HUGE mistake... I saved after receiving a terrible one.
But, In my AS I'm at the 4th Gym, still I used another code and downloaded the mystery gift on ORAS (I GET A SECOND CHANCE). But will the mystery gift lady wait any amount of time in the poke centre if I just never speak to her until getting to the IV judge?

The Mystery Gift lady on my sister's Y is still there, waiting for her to pick up Diancie... since last November...
Just want to add that it can depend on what tier you want to use it in. you just have to look at what notable threats there are in that tier you need to outspeed at +1 with jolly that adamant cannot; if there really isn't anything worthwhile then run adamant
Assuming it is VGC, the only things that come to my mind would be Mega Manectric and Mega Sceptile, but other than these two, there's nothing else worth outspeeding; I'd personally stick with Adamant.
Anyone have a spare HA Totodile for trade?

The delivery girl appears in every Pokemon Center until all Mystery Gifts she has for the player have been picked up, in the order of the Wonder Cards from first to last. You can go into Mystery Gift in the main menu screen to rearrange them to choose which one you receive first. (like if you want to pick up Darkrai before Steven's Beldum)
