Hi everyone Magikarpite Plz here and today I decided to share a UU team I made just for the fun of it. I can say this team is very good and had helped me win a lot of battles against high skilled players and reach the high points of the ladder at me peaking at 40th on the ladder. This team is very hard hitting being able to break down teams easily and destroy walls that try to stand in its way and stop it. So I got the idea for this team from wanting to try out Banded Arcanine. I name this team Doge and Dragons as a play on words from the name of Dungeons and Dragons just as a joke I hope you guys got it before you read this haha.

We start off with the main Pokemon I wanted to use, Arcanine. Use this thing to break down anything that doesnt resist fire and use every other attack when necessary nothing really special about this set but remember that this thing has +2 priority banded attack so if you weaken Salamance dont be afraid to bring this in. After looking to what I was weak too with Arcanine I saw that Empoleon took care of two of those weaknesses and provided Defog/Stealth Rock support that really benefited Arcanine and helped it pick up KOs and live longer because of not taking Stealth Rock damage and this pokemon really helps deal with a a lot of other Stealth Rock users like Donphan and Forretress. Empoleon was a great Partner to use with Arcanine and I used a pretty standard set for this guy too being physically defensive. Once again nothing special.

Looking at the team now I realized that I have a bad Fighting and Ground weakness. Well what other way to fight this weakness other than with one of the bulkiest pokemon in the game. Cresselia is an amazing wall and can really break down a lot of offensive threats without doing direct damage. This pokemon can T-wave and Moonblast to lower SpAtt and heal off any damage you do to it and its fast so you can get off a Moonlight before some things can even get damage off. I also put Lunar Dance on this thing to help heal up Arcanine and the other hard hitters on the team once this thing has done its job or is too weak to do anything. The reason this thing has little defense investment is because this things role is to beat down Special Attackers not physical ones so I didnt feel the need for any.

Next I added Acnologia, I mean Hydreigon. Looking at the team again so far the team has a Ghost, Dark, and Electric weakness so I decided to get a hard hitter just as hard as Arcanine just on the special side of things. But I also realized I needed some speed on this team so I made this pokemon Choice Scarf with the standard special attacks and U-Turn for momentum and being able to get out of a sticky situation if need be.

Next I decided to add Machamp to help deal with a lot special defensive walls and to confuse and hax physically defensive walls and just generally break down teams and destroy lives. I gave this thing Assault Vest to make it bulkier and allow this thing to be bulky to give up some HP to put into speed. The EV spread is ment to outspeed no investment neutral nature florges and kill it. All in on attack and the rest in HP just for some extra bulk to take some hits and maybe even confuse opponents. Finally I used Heavy Slam over bullet punch just to do more damage to fairy types which this team could have some issues with.

Finally Looking at the team I noticed the glaring weakness to fighting types, I needed a mega, plus another powerful SpAttacker so Mega Pidgeot was the perfect fit. I use an odd set for sure but it catches opponents off guard and puts in work at the same time. I used sub over refresh because Honchrow is a thing and i would much rather block the status all together then have to heal it off and take a turn to heal it and possibly get haxed by paralysis. I used Heat Wave over Roost because I feel its not bulky enough to run Roost and Heat Wave hits those steel types that come in on you thinking your dont have it due to work up and kill them with a +1 Heat Wave or Hurricane. Plus setting up behind a sub on something that cant hit you like Gligar just yells for a sweep.

Conclusion: I hope you guys like this team i worked really hard on it and I think its really solid and beats the metagame really well and does alot of work to pokemon because this team breaks down walls and cores pretty easily. Sup man this is a really solid ofnsive team you got here. That cress set is really cool I like that. There is really only one thing I have to say and I saw that you put it in your pidgeot description that you dont like roost, but it really does help pidgeot out and I do think you should have roost over heat wave as the really only prominent steel type in uu that does not get hit by hurricane nuetrally is mega aggron. You will see bronzong on rare occasions but your team doesn't really care about zong as you have an arcanine, a hydreigon and a machamp that can put in work against zong which zong is really good imo but its just not a common mon you'll see. And +1 hurricane does loads to aggron anyways + the confusion chance. And what roost allows you to do is to set up on those fat mons like umbreon, florges, and vaporeon and since you have sub you can sub on their wishes and work up in their face but roost at the same time so you arn't widdling pidgeot down to the point where a mon can come in and revenge you easily. With heat wave they can moonblast you to death however you have no fear in those mons with roost. And with pidgeots fantastic ability to force switches it allows for opportunities to roost up and stay healthy so you can stay out of range from priority and rocks. It doesn't need bulk to run roost, it will get its opportunities to roost up just like aerodactyl. Now aero isn't frail but its by no means a fat mon but since it forces switches like nobodies business it can find lots of opportunities to roost up which applies to pidgeot as well. However, you do have the lunar dance cresselia which can heal it up so its not awful if you don't change, but I just think roost would fit you more. Really solid team tho.

What you'd gain is sacred fire's burn chance, a stronger flare blitz, more bulk, and being faster than adamant haxorus and darmanitan and modest Hydreigon. Arcanine is a good defensive mon, but for a choice banded set run choice banded entei over Arcanine. This is more of a formatting thing, but I wouldn't include irrelevant calcs in your descriptions, so you don't really need 248/0 Crobat and defensive trevenant under Machamp. thanks for the advice i really dont know to make an rmt look good lol so i just did what i could with the knowledge i had of what i can do. Also i thought about the entei thing while building this team i thought of that same thing but i chose arcanine just for wild charge because i know how much crocune is a threat so that was really the only thing i saw that could help me was hitting it hard super-effectivly. also in the original build i had intimidate over flash fire so thats another reason why i used it over entei but i had already pushed entei out of my mind by the time i was in the final build of this team. But thanks for the help i will look into banded entei and see how it works.

So yeah, if no brun from that scald, Mence can pretty much go through this entire team if he have rocks set up.

Last move is either to take care of those flying type that'll come for you, or to sustain to sweep longer.

VERY interesting choice of Lunar Dance. Personally, I wouldn't do it just for Arcanine. I would run CM or Psyshock over Lunar dance...I used Cress on my Farm League team and speaking from experience, she works very well in UU, but I wouldn't think sacrificing her for another mon on my team is a smart idea. Her coverage and ground immunity is pretty legit, some might say to legit to quit. I would do Moonblast/T wave/Moonlight/Calm Mind-Sub/ Bold Nature if you go with Calm Mind. Just my input. Other then that the team looks really swell.
