Hello, this is a team I created around the all so common Gallade-Bisharp core, due to my last team being destroyed when Mega Metagross wasn't banned. Anyways, I had decided to go for more of a balance approach for this team, hope you enjoy!

I had decided I really wanted to build a team around M-Gallade, so of course my first thought was the popular core of Bisharp + Gallade, considering how they cover each other so nicely.

Now, I found it obvious that this core is pretty weak to Talonflame, actually extremely weak to Talonflame, Heatran provided me with a Stealth Rocker, along with general special bulk, and a switch in to specs Sylveon, Volcarona, and Serperior to name a few.

I found the three mons I had were very weak to Zard-X, so I needed something that could provide for both physical bulk, and a Zard-X counter, which this thing walls pretty well, Barring Thunder Punch, which if it carries usually makes it give up on EQ, allowing heatran to wall it.

Now my team is very weak to Bisharp if it has Low Kick, so I needed something to stop that thing, so the first thing to come to mind was Keldeo. Keldeo also provided for a powerful special attacker, which my team was lacking.

Now I really didn't know what to put in this slot at the time, so I added this to provide momentum for the team with U-Turn, aswell as form a double Regenerator core in him and slowbro. This thing also provided alot of speed for the team which I was lacking in.

And Now the Team...

Gallade @ Galladite

Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat - Pretty obvious choice as a 120 base STAB move, hardest hitting attack.
- Knock Off - Utility, also great for hitting mons like Starmie, and other things that could potentially wall Gallade.
- Zen Headbutt - Second STAB move, just a great move, with nice base power
- Skill Swap - This is mainly for Sableye who thinks they can wall this thing, also you could sometimes get some pretty cool abilities such as regenerator.

I'd run Mixed Hippowdon over Heatran. You don't have an electric-type resist and it has really nice synergy with Assault Vest Tornadus-T and Slowbro. Currently, you are incredibly weak to both Raikou and Manectric, and Thundurus-I can do a lot of damage to your team if you cannot maintain Stealth Rocks. Furthermore, while Hippowdon > Heatran makes you weaker to CB Talonflame, it lets you check Bulk Up WoW Talonflame better which is more common anyways. You already have Bisharp and Tornadus-T to check Serperior, Sylveon isn't too popular so I wouldn't worry about being weak to that. The next change I'd make is on Gallade run Swords Dance > Skill Swap, I don't see how Skill Swap helps you beat Mega Sableye, Keldeo sets up on Sableye anyways. Then I'd run Assault Vest > Lum Berry on Bisharp with Pursuit > Swords Dance. Your entire team would benefit from the safer removal of Latios. Wanted to point out that you are incredibly weak to DD Altaria, even with tran because a lot run Earthquake. You have Sludge Wave Tornadus-T to somewhat check the special version, but I don't see how to remedy this without changing the whole team. Run Toxic on Hippowdon to at least give you a chance, or you can try giving Slowbro Thunder Wave > Calm Mind.

Summary of "definite" changes:
  • Hippowdon > Heatran
  • Swords Dance > Skill Swap
  • Assault Vest > Lum Berry
  • Pursuit > Swords Dance
Run this set on Hippowdon:

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Force
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
- Toxic

Thanks for the rate fren, Ill definetely make the change from heatran to hippowdon, but skill swap helps me by allowing me to swap magic bounce just so I could get a free burn on sableye, I didnt really need pursuit since heatran was there, but now Ill consider it. Also definetely changing cm to twave
