ORAS UU Mega sceptile balance

Yah, you may have seen my last OU team, I scraped it. It sucked, but this team I've done a lot of testing and its proven to be pretty good.
But, trouble strikes again. I need rapid spin support or defog support. I don't care which. I just need one. And I think my best guy to replace is roserade. I don't know, but I need rapid spin or defog.
sceptile-mega.gif

Mega-sceptile @ sceptileite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA/ 4 SpD/ 252 Spe
Timid nature
-Substitute
-giga drain
-focus blast
-dragon pulse

Im just going to say, wow. Sub 3 attack mega sceptile is just a sweeper. It can faze sucker punch users, recover any lost health from substitute or attacks by giga drain, and really only 3 things wall this. Assault vest goodra, crobat, and some calm mind users. It can 2HKO honchkrow with dragon pulse, and check a lot of things the rest of my team has trouble with such as physically defensive donphan, krookodile, and just smacks almost the intire game that arn't very SpDef with OHKOs, 2HKOs, and 3HKOs.
krookodile.gif

Krookodile @ Choice Band
Ability: intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/ 4 Def/ 252 Spe
Jolly nature
-Knock off
-Pursuit
-Earthquake
-Stone edge

Krookodile and Mega Sceptile form a pretty good team, hitting the entire meta game for decent damage. Once again, fairy types are a pain, but krooks attack stat can deal with SpDef ones easy, giving my sceptile a little more breathing room. I do have to be careful with him though, as being locked into earthquake aginst a flying type of levitate means a forced switch. It can pursuit trap many threats, or straight out kill them, as he saved my butt once aginst a belly drum snorlax. His main purpose is to kill stupid calm mind cressalia. I had to look for a check to that thing for a while, and then I found him.
umbreon.gif

Umbreon @ leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Bold nature
EVs: 252 HP/ 8 Def/ 252 SpD
-Wish
-Protect
-Heal Bell
-foul play

This is my special wall and one of the two supports of my team. Able to cure status, pass wishes, wish protect and utterly kill physical attackers with foul play, this guy takes some weight off donphan, and has brought back yanmega from the brink of death. As you may have noticed by now, I have a problem with fairy types, only have slight checks and not any resistances for the most part. I feel umbreon is the most expendable guy on my team, so if anyone knows a good replacement or if he should stay, tell me.
roserade.gif

Roserade @ black sludge
Ability: technician
EVs: 252 SpA/ 4 SpD/ 252 Spe? (If these are wrong correct me)
Timid nature
-Gige drain
-sludge bomb
-HP roc
-spikes

This is my spike setter and one of my main ways to deal with crobat without having to resort to krookodile, which i did not trust stone edge's accuracy. seveal times times I have been able to set up 3 layers of spikes, letting entei go ham even aginst water types of there weakened, and my other fairy type check.
swampert.gif

Swampert @ leftovers
Ability: torrent
EVs: 240 HP/ 252 Def/ 16 Atk
Impish nature
-stealth rocks
-water fall
-earthquake
-toxic

I replaced donphan after a bit realizing I had no real check for entei spam. I can take several attacks from it and even if sacred fire gets a burn i can still 2HKO it. Also my rocker, I gave up rapid spin support so im a little weak to that. (Testing for further worth)
entei.gif

Entei @ choice band
Ability: pressure
Adamant nature
EVs: 252 Atk/ 4 SpD/ 252 Spe
-sacred fire
-flare blitz
-stone edge
-extreme speed

Entei is my switch in to florgess, my strongest revenge killers and fire type of my team. Also being able to spread burns with sacred fires 50% burn chance (imagine that with serene grace. 100 power 100% chance to burn), and flare blitz just does massive damage in general.

Threat list:

OMG! This thing is stupid. It's just, why is this UU? Why not OU? I mean seriously! This thing only takes 70% from dragon pulse from sceptile, and both ice beam and draco are OHKOs

So that's my team. Any constructive criticism would be much appreciated.

Krookodile @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
Would probably be a better set for Krook. Knock off on Krook makes him a lot more useful in most situations. Anyways, On Donphan I would change Knock off the Ice Shard, to give you that priority that gives donphan a nice edge against weakened mons. Most teams benefit greatly from Priority. Anyways let's move onto sceptile. Why do you mention Togekiss in this? Togekiss isn't a UU mon and shouldn't be considered a threat to Sceptile in UU play, lol. The biggest problem with Mega Sceptile is the large number of birds in the tier that give it trouble, Yeah you mention being able to potentially 2HKO Krow, but Brave Bird Krow can seriously hurt Sceptile, as can Anything with Acro or Aerial Ace. You've got the support you need in Donphance(Ice Shard) But don't risk keeping Sceptile up in front of The swarm of birds. As for Yanmega, He's a good UU mon in general, I don't think you NEED him to be a dark check, there aren't a lot of dark mons that are major threats in UU, you mainly have to worry about fire/fighting/water spam which you've got covered decently.

Other then the things I mentioned, the teem looks pretty solid! Good luck and have fun with it.

Will do. Any suggestions for a replacement for yanmega ?

Personally, I would suggest HP Fire > Subsitute, this allows you to hit Forretress and subsititure won't really help too much anyways.
Another thing would be Giga Drain > Ancient Power. Giga drain let's you restore the damage you will take from life orb recoil, and also takes out Seismitoad and Swampert quite easily.

That's all I got, I hope these will help in some sort of way

I'll take the Giga drain > Ancint power, even though I have a check to both of those that goes by the name of mega sceptile. But I want to keep substitute on sceptile sense it can harm sucker punch users and status inflictors.

Hey, if you need a Florges answer I would suggest something along the lines of Entei > Infernape.

What this does is give you a much more solid switch in to Moonblast and you can easily force Florges out to take more damage from Stealth Rock and such. It does put a little bit more pressure on Donphan to keep hazards off the field and makes you weaker to things such as Swampert due to the lack of Grass Knot but I think it would be worth it. It also allows you to keep a revenge killer as Entei's ExtremeSpeed is some of the strongest priority in the tier.

Entei @ Choice Band
Adamant nature
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- Sacred Fire
- Flare Blitz
- Stone Edge
- ExtremeSpeed

Now, you said that the team is mainly centered around Sub 3 Attacks Sceptile. As you rightly listed in your threatlist, Florges takes a massive dump on it. Sceptile acts as the cleaner already so I think a change to an Offensive Spikes Roserade > Yanmega could be a good choice. This set will allow you to start stacking up Spikes or Toxic Spikes to put more pressure on your opponents team. It also serves as another solid answer to Florges and gives another check to Water types who were slightly annoying to the team.

Roserade @ Black Sludge / Leftovers
Timid nature
Ability: Technician
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power Rock
- Spikes

Now you may be wondering, why HP Rock. Well, one of the primary switch ins to Roserade also happens to stop Sceptile even behind a sub and defog away Roserade's hazards. Being able to smack Crobat with a Technician boosted Hidden Power Rock will open the door for Sceptile even further. From there, some other changes might need to be made to help balance the team such as maybe putting Swampert over Donphan but I think with everything listed here it's on its way to being a solid squad. Best of luck to you!
