I've been using this team on Showdown for a few days, and it's done pretty well (25 wins, 16 losses), but I'd like to make it better.
Sollux (Forretress) (M) @ Custap Berry
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic Spikes
- Explosion
- Rapid Spin
Sollux is my lead. With Custap, I'm often able to set up Stealth Rock along with two layers of Toxic Spikes. If I go down to 1 HP on the first turn, though, I use Explosion, since one layer of Toxic Spikes isn't all that useful. Explosion tends to catch opponents off guard, since it's not a very common strategy, so I can usually either kill the opposing lead or cripple it enough for my Gothitelle to finish it off. Sollux also has Rapid Spin, which I need since my Beedrill is weak to Stealth Rock.
Equius (Azumarill) (M) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
Equius, while I can't always set up Belly Drum in time, is an amazing sweeper when I can pull it off. With 252 EVs in Attack, he can OHKO most non-resistant Pokemon with Aqua Jet. Play Rough and Knock Off provide coverage (I can OHKO Ferrothorn with Knock Off). I don't get much use out of Play Rough, though, so I'd be open to replacing it. I frequently sweep 3 or more Pokemon with Equius, so he's one of the most indispensable members of my team.
Terezi (Gengar) (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Taunt
- Focus Blast
Terezi is my secondary sweeper. Taunt allows her to cripple walls, and her three attacks have extremely good coverage. While she doesn't get the kind of sweeps Equius can get, she also functions as an effective revenge killer.
Eridan (Sableye) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Knock Off
- Recover
Eridan's main functions are to cripple physical attackers with Will-O-Wisp and to stall during late-game. Taunt is effective when stalling against setup or status-focused Pokemon, and Knock Off prevents Taunt from crippling Eridan (and the enemy losing their held item can be extremely useful as well). Overall, Eridan weakens the opposing team to make the sweepers' job easier.
Kanaya (Gothitelle) (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 80 HP / 176 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Rest
- Trick
Kanaya is an amazing early-game revenge killer, since Shadow Tag traps most Pokemon from leaving. Her Choice Scarf serves dual purposes--it allows her to outspeed Pokemon who would otherwise kill her, and it can be Tricked onto opponents to lock them into non-optimal moves. Psychic does amazing damage and can take out most non-resistant opponents in two hits. HP Fire, meanwhile, can easily deal with Scizor or Ferrothorn. I don't get much use out of Rest, though--it could easily be replaced.
Gamzee (Beedrill) (M) @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 80 Def / 176 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Protect
- U-turn
- Poison Jab
- Drill Run
Finally, there's Gamzee. Mega-Beedrill has FANTASTIC speed and very good attack, so he functions as a very good revenge-killer (mostly in late-game). U-Turn allows him to take out injured Pokemon and switch out instantly, and Poison Jab and Drill Run round out his coverage extremely well. Protect is necessary for the turn Gamzee mega-evolves, because his non-mega speed and his defenses are horrible.
That's my team! Please give suggestions to improve it, and thank you for taking the time to read this.
EDIT: Took care of that weird typo at the end.
