ORAS UU Willpower magic

Hai smogon, and the UU comm. This is your favorite reality show star, Caiahar, here to present to you my first UU RMT! This RMT is sponsored by KFC and Burger King!
Today, we will focus on my little friends, Nasty Plot Azelf!

azelf.gif
mienshao.gif

Starting off with Nasty Plot Azelf. This Azelf, does not use Dazzling Gleam, but instead, Taunt. He has little power against Darks, and although you can nail ones like Hydreigon with a Fire Blast sometimes, it struggles against Krookodile, Hydreigon, and Umbreon, the former two having a chance to be scarfed. So there comes Mienshao. Scarfshao puts in the work, with a reckless boosted High Jump Kick able to OHKO many things. Mienshao can take care of all the scarfers and faster threats, such as M-Pidgeot or M-Aerodactyl. He put's in the work most of the time, and can also U-Turn to other members.

mienshao.gif
entei.gif

So Scarfshao can defeat many offensive threats, but what about others? I need a reliable wallbreaker, and Entei seems like a good one. Sacred Fire alone hits many switch-ins hard, as well as having a nice 50% chance to burn. Extremespeed helps a lot, picking off faster threats, or set up sweepers.

blastoise-mega.gif

So my team is powerful and all, but they're pretty frail, not to mention two of them are scared of Scald. So heres this tank boi. He is my Rapid Spinner, which goes well with Entei and Azelf, as neither want to be worn down, the former being weak, and the latter needing to stay healthy to do some damage. Blastoise can also do well against Cresselia, which is a bit of a problem here. This boi carries the team on his cannons.

So I've got 2/3s of the FWG core, why not make it complete? I had to choose between Roserade and Shaymin, but I choose Roserade, since he can also set up Spikes and act as a special wall. Sleep Powder is nice too, since I can switch Azelf in and get a Nasty Plot up.

So now, I don't have an SR setter, neither a physical wall. Oh boi, here's Rhyperior for ya! His physical defense is really good, and he might be able to survive a special hit sometimes, due to my investment within it. He hates water and grass, and roserade can take them, as well as Blastoise taking scalds. He is my normal resist, flying check, and physical wall.

THE SQUAD BOIS

Zeref (Azelf) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Psyshock
- Fire Blast
- Taunt
Da boi of this team is Azelf! NPzelf hits damn hard once setting up. I chose Fire Blast to hit steels like Maggron and Forretress. I went with Taunt so I could fake the lead and taunt SR setters, as well as set up sweepers like Suicune.

mienshao.gif

Hunter (Mienshao) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
Standard Scarf set. HJK hits insanely hard, and you can U-Turn to other members. He can defeat faster foes if needed, such as M-pidgeot and M-Aerodactly, in order for Azelf to sweep. Many things get forced out, and U-Turn is incredible there. Beast Boi

entei.gif

Atlas (Entei) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Flare Blitz
- ExtremeSpeed
- Stone Edge
Entei puts in a lot of work. How? Why, he breaks walls! Flare Blitz is the strongest move here, and 2HKOs many defensive pokemon, so not much can switch in. Offensive users like Swampert also have to be wary, since Sacred Fire has a 50% chance to burn. Espeed, tho not STAB, is very powerful, and can pick off mons like Mpidge, or Feraligatr once its set up. Stone Edge hits mons like Chandelure, who otherwise walls this.

blastoise-mega.gif

Tankstoise (Blastoise) @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Rain Dish
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
Ah, this guy. He carries the team. With very good defenses and good attack power, he lives up to the name Tank. Rapid Spin helps a lot, since Mienshao will be U turning in and out, Entei needs not fear SR, and Azelf can be healthy enough to set up a NP and sweep. I chose Scald for the burn chance, Dark Pulse for better coverage, as well as nailing Reuinclus and Cresselia. Ice beam hits dragons, like Amphy and Salamence

roserade.gif

TopThorn (Roserade) (M) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP / 252 SpD / 16 Spe
Calm Nature
- Synthesis
- Spikes
- Sleep Powder
- Giga Drain
Da top boi. Special wall, spiker, sleep infector, status absorber. Must be pre-ordered for all of those and shipping payment is 20$ Completes FWG core. EV's outspeed Adamant Honchkrow.
rhyperior.gif

Armstrong (Rhyperior) @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Dragon Tail
Named after Major Alex Armstrong, he lives up to it. He is the SR setter, and physical wall. EQ is a staple. i chose stone edge over rock blast because for nearly 10 games I only got rock blast to hit 2 times. Smh. Dragon Tail over roar because it can't be taunted, racks up chip damage, and phazes. Fairies idgaf about because they can usually just get booped by EQ.

I had success with this team in UU's many spam tournaments, and I laddered to 1376 with this. I had a replay of Azelf sweeping but it got deleted.. .cri
Please feel free to RMT with suggestions and improvements, and ladder. I take deh credit

TANKS YOU!!!

I'm pretty sure that your explanations for Mienshao, Entei, and Blastoise are too short (see rule #4 on the RMT Resource Thread), but I'll say a few changes to the team regardless.

If you want your Blastoise to put some real damage out you could use Hydro Pump or Water Pulse > Scald, although the burn chance is pretty nice.
I'd also change the set to something like:

Blastoise @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 24 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump / Scald / Water Pulse
- Dark Pulse
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Beam

The 24 speed EVs allow Blastoise to outpace 20 Speed Nidoqueen, max Speed Rhyperior, uninvested Goodra, and 164 Speed Abomasnow, while still maintaining its tankyness.

I also see a huge weakness to opposing Scarf Mienshao which can OHKO / 2HKO your entire team while you don't have any switches into it.

I'd suggest a Nidoqueen>Rhyperior which could still serve as a defensive wall as well as having access to phazing + hazards while not being 3HKO'd by Mienshao.

Nidoqueen (F) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 248 HP / 240 Def / 20 SpA
Bold Nature
- Roar / Toxic Spikes / Dragon Tail
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power

With this change, you could be able to insert Shaymin>Roserade which you were contemplating before as Nidoqueen can set up Rocks + TSpikes while having the Poison-type, or you could use Florges>Roserade.

Shaymin @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Seed Flare
- Dazzling Gleam
- Air Slash
- Synthesis

or

Florges (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD
Calm Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Wish
- Moonblast
- Protect

Yeah as said by the person above me, the descriptions for a couple Pokemon are probably too short. Nevertheless I'll suggest some changes in the meantime. I'm going to disagree with BenOhver about the Scald change, it's pretty subjective what Water-STAB is being used on Blastoise, although out of the three options Water Pulse is probably the worst, considering burn (Scald) / Power (Hydro Pump) > Confusion. I'm going to suggest making this a bulky offense team, and have the following Nidoqueen set I list below instead of the one BenOhver (nothing against you bud, I just feel these changes would be more beneficial :P) suggested, although the Nidoqueen > Rhyperior change is something I agree with. I'm going to also suggest having at least 60 Speed EVs on Blastoise, as that allows you to outspeed uninvested base 85s, such as Cresselia and Suicune, and hit them before they setup. I'm also going to suggest having an offensive Roserade set over the defensive one, since it allows you to have more offensive pressure and beat bulky Water-types much easier. You should also run 0 Attack IVs on each special attacker, as that minimizes Foul Play damage against them. You should consider using Aura Sphere over Ice Beam on Blastoise to help deal with Snorlax and Empoleon, it also allows you to bop Dark-types that hinder Azelf, especially Umbreon. You should also move the 4 Def EVs on Azelf to SpD, as this allows you to ensure Porygon2 and Porygon-Z don't get a Special Attack boost from Download.

Nidoqueen (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 128 HP / 252 SpA / 128 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Sludge Wave
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock

Speed EVs are interchangeable but this one allows you to outspeed Max Speed Adamant Swampert before it Mega Evolves.

Roserade @ Life Orb / Black Sludge
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sleep Powder
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Spikes

You could run Extrasensory over Sleep Powder if Crobat / Tentacruel are annoying and you could also run Hidden Power Fire with Technician if Steel-types become annoying.

If i do run Nidoqueen, would it be better to run shaymin over Roserade, or nah? Roserade has Sleep Powder which helps a lot, but gives the 2x psychic weakness on the team, as well as being able to perform less against Nidoking, as ground is neutral to Roserade

Whether you want to run Shaymin or not is your choice, but I prefer seeing Roserade on this build since it gives you Spikes which can really support the team. Nidoking bops Shaymin with a super effective Sludge Wave anyhow, not to mention you already have Azelf for switching into Earth Power. On offensive builds you'll have to play around the Nidos mostly. You are right about the Psychic weakness being a problem though, so you could consider having Krookodile over Nidoqueen, although it does re-open the Mienshao weakness.
