I think it's too early to make a person by person report card, so I will just address the few cases that stand out. Namely, the bandwagoners on US

Gale Wing Srock has made some questionable reasoning so far, making him look quite scummy. But I can somewhat confirm Celever's statement on Gale's meta, he looks more noobtown to me.

Among the three bandwagoners, Haunted Diamond caught my attention. Since the beginning, he has found Celever's behavior suspicious on the ground that Celever acts similarly to Celever's last game, in which Celever was indeed scum. I want to point out that he (Haunted) is also acting similarly to his last game, in which Haunted was also scum. I feel a pressure vote is called for.

You come up and post suspicions about US, Lynch him saying that you will eat a shoe if he is not scum, then UnLynch him when he posts his defense, and then you parrot other people's response, Lynch an easy target, and then try to Lie Low?

Since there are no info roles or night kills for the Village, I think it wouldn't matter if we went for a Day 1 Lynch. Because we wouldn't know much on Day 2 either. That is just saying that the first couple of Lynches may as well be Random Lynches.

I think it would be safe to assume that the Fire Mafia are not aware of the Ice Mafia in the game, so that increases our chances of them targeting each other during night kills.

Geez guys, i didn't know having a life outside Circus during an NOC was a CRIME! I notice that there's some confusion about US's post (quoted below), and how i think it's a joke. C'mon guys....

Maybe everyone should post their thoughts on DLE because why not.

I want Haunted Diamond, PokeguyNXB and The Idiotic One to post once they see this regarding their thoughts about DLE/my response/anything else. If I missed anyone else who hasn't posted feel free to tag them as well.

How could this NOT be a joke? It's in response to an even MORE obvious jokeclaim by DLE the post before!

As for my inactivity, as i said, i have a life (and parents that don't like me on electronics for long periods of time in one sitting, that's important too), and c'mon THIS GAME HASN'T EVEN BEEN GOING ON FOR TWO FULL DAYS (irl) YET, i don't remember the last NOC game being THAT strict about activity. Now if you'll excuse me, my aforementioned parents want me to turn this off for the night (it's 10:28pm here), i'll be online again tomorrow morning. And don't be upset when i don't post until then, i need sleep y'know

real talk tho for some reason Gale has it out for TIK. starting a bit over halfway through this thread he jumps on TIK despite the only other reads, I believe, being town on him. this is the weirdest case of bussing I've ever seen as there's literally nobody else up on TIK yet Gale feels the need to pressure vote him for some content when Gale is the one who has helped waste a page of this thread over his spat with Celever.

DLE is oddly quiet. I think he may be afk/out. But his actual contributions to this thread would leave an African village starving.

Cancerous is another person with pretty much exclusive Town Reads at the moment. I do feel almost as though Celever has been trying to buddy UncleSam and defend him, and in turn UncleSam has had nothing but good things to say about Cancerous. Celever of course looks pretty firmly entrenched in Haunted Diamond's demise. But he started in on that pretty early.

Also ok is anyone seriously believing that Gale not only copy/pastes the number of players then somehow "doesn't remember there are 13" while ALSO making that ever-so-scum-posing-as-town post kindly displaying all the votes and how many are on each, yet doesn't ever consider how close the votes HE added up are to majority?

Like this guy. I can't tell if he's severe noobtown making a lot of silly slip-ups or if he's scum who can't keep his story straight. He pulled a lot of classic scum moves yet he's harping on TIK, a guy everyone else who's said anything about him pretty much agrees he's town, and fighting pretty publicly with Celever. He's also up in UncleSam's grill, one of the most vocal players, suspects DLE of being scum, another long-time player... like why is this guy playing so recklessly? If he's mafia surely he would play a bit more conservatively so he doesn't get so much (negative) press onto him with these weird reads? Yet nothing in his play says town to me. Perplexing indeed.

I wasn't referring to the act of generating discussion which it clearly accomplished; I referred to you grasping at straws at your forced suspicion on me as a justification for doing so. It was fairly obvious that my post was a joke and you then decide to 5 bullet point reasons on reasons I'm lying and scum. It was manufactured in the sense that you took an unrelated topic in my troll lynch on celever and then retooled that as a means to justify an agenda. That said, the agenda was to generate discussion and it clearly worked, and as such I unvoted based on a cursory look at your playstyle thus far.
 
I listed those points (as I stated at the time quite clearly) in order to make sure that none of the new players in this game thought you were being serious. I also didn't put 'forced suspicion' on you I just said that it looked like you wanted to start discussion somehow and I'd much rather it happen by my responding and making people talk about the two of us then you being able to direct conversation at whatever noob player happened to fall for it first. I said this before, I'm saying it again, and anyone who doesn't understand why this is a pro-town maneuver needs to think through things again. I was not 'grasping at straws', I saw you both A. Making an attempt at generating discussion (good) as well as B. Guiding discussion someplace I felt would be a waste of time (ie analyzing whether some new player is just noobtown or noobmafia) (bad). So instead I used the good in that post as a jumping-off point to push discussion in a much more illuminating manner.

What part of this is even remotely a poor post.
 
This is probably Sam's town play. He assumes he's a god of mafia when he's town and that every post he makes makes him the towniest town to ever town. It doesn't since his posts really independently weren't that towny, but the fact he's posting this way and assumes he's town indicates he is actually town, even if you believe that his posts are not helpful or are not town-telling independently. This is ESPECIALLY when you consider that this is in NOC which is a game mode that sam should not be all that confident in. A sam town would be confident as fuck that he is town and "talking is good, i generated talking so I'm good." Pretty sure that's literally what's happened. A sam lynch now would be terrible. I'm not telling Sam my mafia reads on him but suffice it to say he's not triggering any of them yet.

Question to anyone who is still voting for sam (if anyone): who is sam's partner? If your answer is "I have no clue," start reading to try to find one. It sure isn't anyone active because he's thrown enough shade at pretty much everyone who has posted in disagreement with him.

There's some stuff that makes me doubt this just slightly and it sorta depends on how you read the early play. I could see sam being scummy off of a read on his early play being something that he did for the sole purpose of APPEARING town by trying to win people over with "look i did active things im town right guys" over trying to ACTUALLY generate discutrying ton with "yo i got the game to start getting reads going and make plays". I think later posts have pointed to the latter. Except I dunno if he's made plays. Most of the posts so far have been pretty fluffy but I can't expect Sam to do everything right.

I don't want to read gale; my gale reads are atrocious. He can tell you as much. I read gale only off of outside circumstances. There are no outside circumstances to judge off of. Disagreeing with Gale doesn't make him mafia and thinking his plays are anti-town doesn't make him mafia. I am leaning towards him being town but just having bad reads but my Gale reads are probably going to be worse than on anyone else this game so I'm not going to waste that much time here. This is

Yeti's prolly town, her reads make sense and she's actually trying to figure the game out. Her immediate suspicion on UncleSam was incredibly warranted in my opinion (sam, that post wasn't nearly as town as you think it is). Her more recent post trying to analyze the sam bandwagon while I think she could have done more with I think indicates a town trying to figure out the game.

Celever and acidphoenix jumped out at me as possible scum. I'll post up reasons why in the morning but celever seems to be more focused on attacking points than achieving anything and acidphoenix seems to kinda just be taking the game on autopilot.

I have explained why I am voting for TIK. If you think he is town, that is your opinion. (You haven't stated why you think he is town btw).

TIK, has mentioned his Read on US, and has Lynched me along with others. Now, he doesn't want to explain why he is lynching me either. I see no reason, as to why a player would vote for another player and then stop answering their questions. Unless, they are not able to answer it fsr. What is the reason? Are they hiding something?

Its a genuine vote, and calling me a moron doesn't help me changing it. Don't try to bully people into voting the people that you want them to vote. If folks see reason, then they will vote or unvote.

If TIK answers my question as to why he wants to Lynch me, then I will unvote. It is simple as that. He knows his own posts better than, I do. So its easier for him to dig up his own posts for the reason he mentioned for my Lynch.

He claims I am more of a slam dunk compared to US. He quotes his own post in which he has nothing but a suspicion on who the last mafia is. Like he is well aware of all the mafia in the game. Then he says that I have ramped it up x1000 in the posts that I have linked.

I literally find no concrete reasons from THE_IRON_...KENYAN? , he makes it seem that it is obvious why I am scum as the only reason.

All I am asking him, is to give a specific reason. Like, 'You were the last person to vote for US just before L-2. That is why I am lynching you.' Or something in that regard.

When asked about it, he just decides not to talk to a player in the game. What behavior is this?

If he took offense on me calling him a Noob, Then he was the one who said in this post of his, that insulting people is par for the course in NOC mafia.

But even so, if he took offense then I apologize to him for calling him a Noob. But not explaining his reasons, is not the way to go.

Tell me if it isn't scummy for a person to Lynch someone without a concrete reason.
 
Oh and Da Letter El I notice you didn't say anything about Haunted Diamond. Given he was an obvious bandwagoner and seems to be a lynch a lot of people would be ok with I'd like to hear your thoughts on him as well.
 
Gale you need to stop equating someone explaining the reasons behind their actions and being a member of the town. There are plenty of town members, and there will be a few in this game, who will not and can not explain their thoughts nearly as well as others. And you need to be able to sort through that and see something more important: do you believe that the way that they are playing -- regardless of the good bad or unclear reasons why they might do what they do -- indicates that they are a person who only knows their role pm and knows that they are town, or does it indicate that they know someone and they are worried about them or their partner being seen as mafia.

Being aggressive and not thinking about how he is being read != Top Town. That is not the sole reason, someone can be considered top town. And you scum read is good on him.

I see him as Slight Town, but that doesn't mean he can run around saying I have stated my reason. When there is nothing concrete that is stated by him for my Lynch.

Not much happened overnight IMO. Some townies acted towny, and that's about it. Nothing to share my thoughts on which I haven't done already I don't think?

Da Letter El attacking people is how you generate discussion Day 1. Later on in the game you can start properly analysing posts and behaviour patterns. On Day 1 it is a lot more difficult to do so. However I still think that Haunted Diamond is a good lynch.
