If I have a female pokemon holding an everstone and breed it with a Ditto (not holding anything), does it do anything? Or does Ditto become the default "mother"?
 
my question is about Heracross (nature = +SPD, max EVs in SPD) with a Salac Berry boost:

does anybody know if that is faster than a Weavile with +SPD nature and max EVs in SPD?

If you're breeding with Ditto, Ditto must always hold Everstone to pass down natures. It won't work on anything else when you're breeding with Ditto.

Yes, it does. Heracross gets 295 max Speed with Jolly, which multiplied by 1.5 is far over 400; Weavile's max Speed is 383. However, I recommend running Adamant nature for more attacking power; you still get 269 Speed before the boost, which goes to 403, enough for most purposes.
 
Well, two Pokemon is pretty vague, so I don't think anyone can really tell you. Note that they both also falter against strong Rock type attacks, though.
 
i have a question so far my team is t-tar,chomp,swampert,and heatran,can anyone tell me something to use and/or what my teams major weaknesess are?

1. Many options: Ludicolo, Regice, Snorlax work well. I myself use a max hp/sp. def calm Togekiss.

2. Forretress, Skarmory can use Spikes. Gliscor and many other things learn Stealth Rock, but something sturdy is generally a good option for setting up Rocks/Spikes like Swampert.

I was wondering this as well, and I don't know what the answer is. What does anyone else think?
 
Hmm... technically you haven't done anything but save yourself hours of back and forth button mashing. I'd say it's legit. All the IVs and moves are set before the code is ever used, and the code doesn't affect the egg (just its hatch time).
 
Does Gts cloning harm your save file at all? In all my unsuccessful attempts to clone and getting the blue screen, I haven't once had any problems yet.
 
Is there an AR program that lets me check my IVs without affecting the pokemon? It would really help me if I didnt have to be next to a computer all the time.
