It was a great Baton Passer before the ban of boosting Speed + another stat. Now, offensive Scolipede is a cool late-game sweeper because of its good coverage and access to Megahorn, a very strong Bug-type move. It can also run Toxic Spikes somewhere as an offensive TSpiker. Another good set would be the suicide lead set with Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Endeavor, providing good utility and a way of wearing down the foe via Endeavor.

It can also pass a static speed boost+a sub to slower sweepers like hoopa u or mega heracross.

Whats the best spread for klefki in the current meta. Physically defensive or Specially and what EV spread is optimal? Currently I use klefki as a screener and anti scizor pivot but have as of late become increasingly annoyed by mega gardes ability to break past it even with a screen up so a tip here would help to.

Most Klefkis are physically defensive right now because of scizor/mmeta as well as other common physical attackers from what ive seen

Why is Gyro Ball the more usually dropped move from Ferrothorn's STABs? Doesn't it have better damage output and coverage than Power Whip?

Gyro is used more often than Power Whip (80% against 52%) but the reason Power Whip is sometimes used without Gyro Ball is because it beats pokemon like Taunt MGyara and Manaphy and the moveslot not used for Gyro Ball can be used for protect, rocks or spikes

Has anyone used melotta pirotette to good effect and if so what mon did you pair it with it seems pretty cool rn and that it might just destroy some offense with its speed and power.

It's a worse mega lopunny imo, just doesn't take up a mega slot

It has its pros and cons. As -Tynamo- notes, it has Knock Off and doesn't take up the mega slot, allowing you to put a Life Orb on it. However, lack of Scrappy and requirement of Relic Song to change formes means it only has one free moveslot (and most of the time you're running Knock Off, I would assume), which leaves it deficient of moves to abuse Serene Grace with other than Relic Song. It's still a pretty awesome mon to use.

Hope we helped, and welcome to Smogon!

Can someone give me a spread to use on an Leftovers Thundurus that utilizes Volt Switch somewhere and not compromise much his power (I'm fine with speed, but not power). And if isn't ask too much: What mon I could pair with that, Hoopa and Scizor (not quite sure if he's gonna be mega).

For Thundurus you can simply run a 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe spread. You wan't a bulky spread I'm thinking? Thundurus realistically isn't going to be taking the most hits so I advise a simple Max / Max +Timid or Naive(if mixed) spread.

As for Hoopa and Scizor I suggest Heatran as a way of dealing with Talonflame and somewhat coping with Mega Charizard better. Which Heatran variant depends upon what your Hoopa is running

I would still say no. While things like Mega Metagross have lots of immediate power, I don't think they are in any way as good as Soul Dew. Not only does Soul Dew make Lati@s' power insane without the need of boosts, it also makes them insanely bulky on the special side. Latios when invested with Soul Dew gets base 220/175 SpA and SpD with investment in SpA. Latias with max SpA investment becomes 190/204 with investment in SpA. It just gives them much more immediate power and bulk than other mons without the drawbacks of having to give up moves (Specs and AV, while giving the benefits of both) or having to use a Mega Slot. Couple that with 110 base speed (which is better than most of the other 110s considering many of them are megas and don't have 110 in base form) and they would be still be too much for OU.
ok thanks, just wondering
