Hey guys I made a team today for VGC and played a few Showdown games with it, winning all of them.
However these showdown games were at low rating(haven't played vgc since ranking reset)
I'd like some pointers on how to improve it
So anyway...

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unnerve
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sky Drop
- Tailwind
- Rock Slide
- Protect

Aerodactyl is basically my lead tailwind setter. He allows the other Pokemon to sweep more effectively with tailwind. He has a focus sash to survive hits because he's frail. Sky Drop is to stall and put a Pokemon out of play for a turn, rock slide for chip damage, and protect is there because it's just a great utility move in general. His EVs are basically just so he can speed sweep/setup.

Garchomp @ Lum Berry
Ability: Sand Veil
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Protect

Garchomp is a tanky sweeper. He has a lum berry so he can get rid of status. Sand veil is so he can make use of sandstorm and troll with evasiveness. I figured I would usually have him out with tailwind up so I didn't build speed. I have dragon claw for stab and because dragon is a great attacking type, I have earthquake for stab and multi-hit, and I have rock slide for coverage. Protect is a doubles staple so I have it.

Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Atk / 12 Def
Adamant Nature
- Ice Punch
- Rock Slide
- Crunch
- Protect

Tyranitar is my other lead. His job is to set up the sandstorm. I put a smooth rock on him so the sandstorm is basically guaranteed to last the entire battle. He has rock slide for heavy damage to both opponents on the field, ice punch for dispatching those annoying landorus, crunch for single target stab, and protect for flexibility(earthquake!). I built hard hitting tank on him(the weird Evs I took off of smogon).

Lucario-Mega @ Lucarionite
Ability: Inner Focus
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Flash Cannon
- Close Combat
- Extreme Speed
- Detect

Lucario is my mega mixed attacker. He is speedy, powerful, and versatile due to his EVs. I have flash cannon for a special stab move, close combat for an extremely powerful stab burst, and extremespeed for a powerful priority revenge kill. Detect increases his versatility by quite a bit.

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Atk / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Rock Slide

Landorus is my intimidater and tanky sweeper. I think I might replace him with Aegislash. The EVs are something off of smogon. I use earthquake for stab multihit, rock slide for general multihit, knock off for knocking away important items, and uturn for versatility instead of protect.

Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Iron Head
- Protect

Excadrill is another powerful speed sweeper. Sand rush boosts his speed, so I decided to use EVs in tank. Earthquake is for stab multhihit(almost my entire team likes to spam it) and rock slide is for spamming multihit upon the other team(again my entire team likes to spam). Iron head is for stab single target damage and a pretty good flinch chance, and protect is for versatility and partner earthquake spamming.

Thanks!
Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Atk / 12 Def
Adamant Nature
- Ice Punch
- Rock Slide
- Crunch
- Protect

Well I'll tell you a bit about your team. Your team is pretty cool however it heavily relies on Sand which is big problem I think when beginners use weather teams. Your team right now is crazy weak to bulky waters as you have so many rock, ground types. For changes I may make I would change Aerodactyl to Togekiss with Air Slash, Follow Me, Thunder Wave/Tailwind, Roost. Too help with bulky waters I'd take out Garchomp and put in Rotom-W with the standard moveset of Hydro Pump, Thunderbolt, Will-O-Wisp and Protect. Lastly I was considering Aegislash but 3 steel types is excessive so I thought you could you use Gengar with Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Icy Wind, Protect or something like that. Sorry this was done kinda fast I could give you EV spread but I'm sure a bigger rater may gve you some more info. Good luck

As Mishimono said, this team heavily relies on sand, and that makes it naturally weak to bulky waters, which is a really big issue.

Ok, so, first of all, you SHOULDN'T be using Garchomp or Landorus-T on the same team by any means. Mishimono's suggestion of Rotom-W really covers a lot, as Rotom-W is pretty much one of the best glues in the VGC metagame.
To be honest, if you want to build sand, you'd check out this report, the player involved is pretty good and the team itself pretty solid, this might serve as example because people are often misled by the fact that sand damages everything bar Steel, Rock and Ground Pokemon, which makes them just build around those types, which is bad:

I'm pretty sure my suggestions aren't the best just wanted to give a bit of an idea of not using all ground/rock/steel types. Also I remember my first Sand team it was Tyranitar, Excadrill, Scizor, Togekiss, Mamoswine and Venusaur I thought it was an amazing team cause no one was getting hurt by sand (Safety Goggles Togekiss) except Venusaur. Even with venusaur my team was weak to water.
