ORAS OU Hyper Offense atempt By : Me

To start off, hey guys im here to present you my first team building atempt, the team is pretty much a "hit whats in front of you".

Team building process:
(1) I always wanted to use diancie as i think it is a really strong pokemon.
(2) Added manaphy because of its steel / fighting resist and its potential to sweep games.
(3) I went for Lando-T because i needed rocks and wanted knock off.
(4) I added Thundurus to offer some T-Wave support and coverage.
(5) Then i went for talonflame as another win condition
(6) Picked latios cuz i needed defog and wanted a dragon move.

The team:

Diancie @ Diancite
diancie.gif

Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 32 Atk / 224 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Diamond Storm
- Protect

Description: I wanted to use mega diancie and i chose this set because it offers a lot of offensive presence and protect is a great move to scout opponent moves.

Manaphy @ Wacan Berry
manaphy.gif

Ability: Hydration
EVs: 96 HP / 252 SpA / 160 Spe
Timid Nature
- Tail Glow
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Energy Ball

Description: I went for manaphy because it synergizes well with diancie and it has a great movepool along with tail glow.

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
landorus-therian.gif

Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Description: Lando-T was chosen as a way to set up rocks and use knock off, its the defensive backbone of the team.

Thundurus @ Life Orb
thundurus.gif

Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast

Description: Thundurus offers a great T-Wave support and coverage, the spread is pretty straight forward, maximizing its power and speed. Focus blast was picked because it can hit a lot of the current metagame threats like Bisharp and Heatran.

Latios @ Life Orb
latios.gif

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Description: So i needed a defog to support Tflame and latios instantly came into my head coz it counter keldeo pretty hard which would screw me really hard.

Talonflame @ Sharp Beak
talonflame.gif

Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Roost

Description: SD Tflame is so strong in the current meta that i cant even explain, it can set up on a lot of mons like scizor and thorn and can ohko a lot of the threats, i went for the 168 spe instead of max because i dont have a lot of trouble with weavile and the 88 evs in hp really make up for it as it helps setting up. Roost is just there for making it healthy as long as possible.

So thats it guys, thanks for the time. See Ya!

Hello there! Nice team but your descriptions are a bit short.

Weavile looks like a massive issue so I recommend Thundurus -> Klefki since this checks Weavile, Mega Diancie and Kyurem-Black which are all threats to you.

You have a rather Keldeo weak team and your primary check lacks recovery to check it consistently. Due to this, I advise you change Hidden Power [Fire] -> Recover. This lets Latios heal up and beat Keldeo more easily, while providing a more stable way to remove hazards for Talonflame and Thundurus as you can keep it healthy. In addition, your team doesn't really appreciate birds so Knock Off -> Stone Edge on Landorus-Therian helps deal with this issue as you can OHKO Pokémon such as opposing Talonflame.

On Manaphy, I would alter your spread from 96 HP / 252 SpA / 160 Spe -> 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe to keep up with the meta and having a speed tie with Pokemon such as Mega Gardevoir is helpful. Changing 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe -> 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe on Talonflame allows you to outspeed Weavile and get the Flare Blitz off so you can reliably OHKO it.

Thanks for the rate!
So actually i had no problems against weavile (played against 5 teams with weavile), i can play around it pretty easily and i dont really think that klefki fits into the team.
About the latios and Lando-T changes, i really like it especially the recover on lati. About the Tflame changes, I used this spread on purpose I know that it cant ouspeed weavile but as long as I have rocks on the field i can kill it with the priority Brave Bird.
