It's yuh boi iWanka comin in with another hot RMT. This RMT is for the monotype tier because I've been having some decent fun with it lately and I wanted to share the team I've been using. The type I've been laddering with as of late is fighting. I love HO types and I've had decent success with this one so lets get into the squad.
Hera helps vses psy matchups being able to outspeed everything on psy bar scarf tini. With rocks up and a moxie boost, hera is deadly.
Gallade @ Galladite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Psycho Cut / Zen Headbutt
- Knock Off
Once again, gallade is the center point of this team. The speed and coverage it has over mega medicham gives it some good advantages against types fighting tends to struggle with. SD gives it great matchups vses balance types to be able to sweep. I run psycho cut over zen headbutt because it doesn't touch chainchomp and the crit chance helps me meme past walls which is nice. Knock off hits the latis and basically everything on psy which is really nice. It has good instant wall breaking power with a massive base 165 attack stat so unboosted CC's are always fun to spam.
Cobalion @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 248 HP / 52 Def / 208 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Volt Switch / Thunder Wave
- Taunt / Thunder Wave
- Iron Head
The team needed a speedy rocker so cobalion was my man. I didn't want a complete suicide lead like infernape because cobalion has a better ability to keep the rocks up with taunt which is really nice for a HO type like fighting. It decent bulk as well to be able to tank some physical hits if needed to gain momentum down the road. I have the speed evs to outspeed base 100s and enough to outspeed speedy garchomp. Thunder can be used over volt switch or taunt but I like volt switch because I can nab momentum after taunting a wall which is nice. Thunder wave has a lot of use so it can most certainly fit.
Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
Scarf terrack is on 99% of fighting teams and for good reason too. It outspeeds pretty much the entire meta and can do wonders against opposing offense types like fire and bug who would otherwise kinda train through fighting. Eq helps with cleaning if you don't want to miss with SE and iron is nice for spamming against fairy to revenge mega diancie and gardevoir. All in all just a reliable revenge killer that gets the job done.
Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Swords Dance / Rock Tomb
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
Breloom matches up fairly well against ground and water. The sash in the back is always nice for stopping wall breakers that are hard to revenge or stopping a sweep. Dishing out spore is really nice for gaining momentum and getting up an SD or two. Rock tomb cam be added to help against bug but I like SD just to break balance that much easier and +2 mach punches are fun to spam. Bullet seed is somewhat of an annoying move with the possibility of only hitting twice but since it's technician boosted, it still can dish out some big domoge.
Keldeo @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Secret Sword
I had been accustomed to using specs keldeo but I befriended sub cm for this RMT partly because I was curious to see how it would do as opposed to specs and I really needed a solid mega sableye check. At times the lack of insta power is quite prevelant but sub cm really helps vses a type like dark who has a very good matchup against fighting and is an extremely common type on the higher ladder. The ability to switch moves against dark lets me hit everything very hard and behind a sub, keldeo is a monster. Keld also is a good check to doublade who just walls the shit out of everything else and it checks shit like skarm which also walls everything else.
Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Megahorn
- Close Combat
- Earthquake / Knock Off
- Stone Edge
Yeah yeah double scarfers I know. It might seem pretty shit on paper and a lot of you will be screaming at me saying "Wanka you dummy just run a guts set to beat mega sab." That was the idea at first but hera has been the MVP of this team with its ability to clean and stack boosts. It gives me a fantastic matchup against psychic as long I can pressure tini with terrack and just double into this monster and get boosts. It has helped me win so many close games and I have won about 8/10 of the matchups I've had with psychic because of it. With cobalions ability to maintain rocks it makes it that much more of a threat. It also can act as somewhat of a backup mega sableye check if I can get it low enough.

Vses my long time fren sabella. I had to make some plays in order in keeps rocks up but once they were up it was just a matter of Hera getting in safely.

This was a battle I had vses a pretty cool ground team. I almost got boned by sub gliscor but was able to make a play with coba to get rid of the sub. Breloom ended sweeping with the help of a toxic miss but it was only a matter of terrack clicking CC once gliscor went down.

This was a battle against psychic that I had vses my fren dolph who is quite good at psy as well. This replay shows scarf hera just tearing through my opponents team once i got it in safely. I was able to get rocks up early and pressure tini out early and I managed to pull a double to breloom on slowbro and put it to sleep. I then pulled a doubled into my keldeo on his metagross and got the damage I needed on that. Those were his 2 only checks to hera and his victini proved not to be scarfed so once hera got in, it just swept right through.

I'm not done with it yet so I'm gunna try and get even higher with it. Fighting is good to get into the higher ladder but it's pretty tough to take to the next level. Some of the top types in the higher ladder can manage fighting so it's a challenge for sure but it can certainly be done.
