Introduction
Hey Smogon members! Absollite here.
This is the second RMT I've created, and this time it will be in the OU tier. I built this team recently. I don't even know what this team is...I guess bulky offense? I'm not sure, really. But nevertheless, I think it's a really fun team to use, even if it is

I was watching the competitive tutoring room and rate my team room's teambuilding workshop collaboration, and they started with this Mega Diancie + Magnezone core. I decided that I would give that a shot and see how it went.

At this point the ground weakness was really glaring out, and I knew I needed something to stop Lando-T, Keldeo, and such. Celebi was a perfect fit.

Next, I wanted a hard-hitting physical attacker. Priority also sounded really good just about now, and I decided on Scizor. It also provided hazard removal, which was key in a few of my matches.

At this point, I had literally nothing to switch into Fire + Ground coverage (Entei, although who runs that), so the next pick was obviously Garchomp. Classic TankChomp always puts in work for my team.

I decided that I needed something else to switch into hits for my team. This slot I played around with: first I tried out Rotom-W, then Sableye, then Klefki (yes three steel types, this idea was quickly abandoned). Finally I settled on the fire moth thing, Volcarona. It can get surprisingly bulky with investment into its defenses, and it surprises almost every player. It eats up hits from lots of mons, from Scizors to opposing Volcaronas to Brelooms.
Anyways, let's get onto the team!
The Team

Oasis (Diancie) @ Diancite

Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 44 HP / 32 Atk / 252 SpA / 180 Spe
Rash Nature
- Rock Polish/Protect
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
Mega Diancie hits like a truck. After it gets up a Rock Polish, it can sweep. I run Rock Polish over Protect, but there were one too many times where I thought, "Wow, I wish I ran Protect." Moonblast and Diamond Storm are for dual STABs, and they provide excellent coverage over the tier. Earth Power is used to hit mainly Heatran, and also to hit things like Ferrothorn neutrally. The EV spread I got from the aforementioned teambuilding workshop, so all credit goes to them. Mega Diancie helps deal with many threats, as well as hitting everything that doesn't resist hard.

Flash (Magnezone) @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Classic scarfed Magnezone set. Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon as dual STABs, and used to hit Waters and Fairies, respectively. Volt Switch helps me get out of tough spots or if I predict a switch. Hidden Power Fire smacks all the steels that I trap with Magnet Pull barring Heatran. Getting rid of Ferrothorn fast helps my team a bunch. Magnezone helps eliminate faster threats such as Keldeo, outspeeding it with the scarf and OHKO'ing it with Thunderbolt. It also outspeeds Mega Gardevoir and smacks it hard with a Flash Cannon.

Carnelian (Scizor) @ Life Orb

Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Defog
Sure, it's not Mega. Sure, it's not Choice Banded. Does it still hit like a truck? Goddamn yes it does! Even without an SD up, it still hits really hard. Scizor provides a much needed way to hit Weavile and it can pick off weakened threats such as Mega Altaria and Sylveon. I wanted both priority and hazard removal on Scizor, so BP and Defog were instant options. Then I opted for U-Turn to form a semi-VoltTurn core with Magnezone, and then Swords Dance in the last slot to hit things even harder.

Tempest (Celebi) @ Leftovers

Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 168 HP / 232 SpA / 108 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Psychic
- Earth Power
- Recover
Ahh, my original Celebi. I created the EV spread myself, which I am proud of (I create literally no original EV spreads lol). 232 SpA is needed to be able to 2HKO Mega Venusaur. 108 Spe lets me creep max speed base 70s such as Bisharp and Breloom. The rest is dumped into HP to maximize bulk. A Bold Nature helps me take on Bisharp. Celebi is my main switch in to Mega Venusaur, Keldeo, Starmie, and Landorus-T. It can take them on (bar Lando U-Turn) and hit them back for a good amount of damage. Originally it was a Nasty Plot set, but then I ditched the idea and went for the 3 attacks + Recover set instead. Giga Drain lets me hit Hippowdon and such, while Psychic lets me smack Venusaur and hit fighting types. Earth Power is there mainly for Heatran, but also for Bisharp. As I said to myself: "Why would I EV Celebi to take on Bish if I can't even hit Bish?"
252 Atk Bisharp Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 168 HP / 0+ Def Celebi: 282-332 (73.6 - 86.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Life Orb Bisharp Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 168 HP / 0+ Def Celebi: 367-432 (95.8 - 112.7%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO -- smh not even guaranteed OHKO
232 SpA Celebi Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Bisharp: 216-256 (79.7 - 94.4%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock -- can KO after some prior damage

Thorn (Garchomp) @ Rocky Helmet

Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 92 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
- Fire Blast
Classic Tankchomp set. It punishes physical attackers for over a quarter of their health every time they touch this thing. Garchomp is my main switch in to opposing Scizor, Bisharp, and most fire-types. Garchomp helps deal with physical attackers, weakening them for the rest of the team. Stealth Rock because hazards, Earthquake for STAB and Dragon Tail for phazing things out and racking up rocks damage. I considered Toxic in the last slot, but I decided on Fire Blast to hit Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and such.

Peril (Volcarona) @ Leftovers

Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 224 HP / 220 Def / 64 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost
- Fiery Dance
- Giga Drain
I would love to say that I made the EV spread myself, but I can't. I got it from DANN3's RMT, so all credit goes to him. It is actually really bulky, and it can take on a plethora of hits, physical and special. Will-O-Wisp is to negate threats such as Lando-T and other physical attackers, and Roost provides reliable recovery for Volcarona. I opted for Fire + Grass coverage over STAB, because it lets me hit more things neutrally. In addition, Giga Drain provides a secondary way to recover health.

I always wished that someone else would put something like this on their RMTs to make my rating job easier, so I decided that I would put this on mine. I decided that there were some things that you guys should know about this team in order to give me a better rate. Here I'll be describing what I use most on my mons, which moves I don't use a lot, "Wow I wish I had" moments, stuff like that. I'll be listing out each team member separately.
As I said before, I run Rock Polish on this guy, but there has been more than one occasion where I wished I ran protect. There has also been more than one occasion where I wished I had a bit more speed investment. I use all three attacking moves a lot, as they provide really good coverage over most teams.
I can't really find anything to say about Magnezone. One thing I did think about was that I wished that Magnezone was a bit faster, so that I could outspeed more stuff. Magnezone can't outspeed things such as Weavile, which really sucks. Sometimes Magnezone also lacks some power that I want.
This mon is the mon that I have to say most about. First off, I don't get a chance to set up with Swords Dance much. Usually Scizor is busy trying to clean up threats with BP or getting out of a bad situation with U-Turn. Speaking of which, I don't get much of a chance to Defog away my hazards either, which really harm Volcarona. Basically, I don't use SD or Defog much, so I would gladly replace SD with some other move, such as Roost (I hadn't tried that yet). Defog I need so that Volcarona can be safe. There were also times where I wished that Scizor had more bulk. See calcs below.
Not a lot I can say about Celebi; it usually does its work well. Sometimes I wish I ran a bit more SpAtk, but usually it works well enough. Another thing to note is that most of the time Celebi is way too busy to Recover up, so I don't use Recover a lot.
Classic TankChomp set; I don't really regret much about Garchomp. Sometimes I wish I had Toxic, but most of the time I'm happy with my Garchomp set.
As I said before, the last slot of the team was debatable. I tried out lots of different mons, and at the moment, I'm still a little doubtful about Volcarona. Volcarona does its walling job well versus certain mons, but it is weak to common moves such as Scald and Stone Edge/Rock Slide. As I said, I'm still not sure about Volcarona in this final slot.
I'm not totally set on keeping a certain member on the team (for example, I really want to keep Mega Diancie, so I'm not replacing that no matter what (I'm NOT like that)); I can replace any member if another mon seems better for the team. So yeah! Hope this helped with your rates.

252 Atk Life Orb Weavile Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Scizor: 196-231 (69.5 - 81.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Weavile Ice Shard vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Scizor: 40-48 (14.1 - 17%) -- possible 6HKO
After rocks, Scizor can't take a Knock Off + Ice Shard, and considering the fact that Scizor is one of my main ways to deal with Weavile, it's not a good thing. I always wish that I ran more bulk when I see a Weavile sitting across from me in team preview.

Conclusion
Oh yeah, forgot to mention, if you guys would like to see some replays, let me know, and I'll add some ASAP. I don't have any because the replay system was down for a lot of the time :[.
All in all, this team was really fun to use! I liked using the team, and if you decide to try it, I hope you will too! If you couldn't tell, I put a lot of work into this RMT, so I hope you guys liked it! Any and all feedback is appreciated, and if you feel like this team needs some improvement, which I'm sure it does, just tell me about it below! Thanks for reading, and I hope this RMT was good!
