Anyone actually watching today's game? It's pretty good, but some missed calls. Seems like someone above has it in for Minnesota recently. 20-20 with under five minutes left. That Carson Palmer though.

Such a split thing for Seattle. Either team winning/losing is big. A Minnesota loss is "safer" obviously though.

*Edit*

What the fuck, 13 seconds left and they decide to play further instead of going for the field goal and OT? Then fumble it. What a way to end that game.......

13 seconds is plenty of time for two plays. Plus that wasn't a guaranteed fg and if he missed it really would have looked bad on hc. Damn if you do or if you don't situation. Zimmer seems to trust bridgewater(I don't) so that was the best play for them.

I disagree, a completion in bounds or a sack ends the game right there, and a short completion out of bounds only makes a ~70% field goal into a 75-85% field goal (guessing, but I'm sure the improvement is not incredibly significant). The odds of a game winning TD pass that is completed in the end zone (a pass caught in the field of play could be game over) is very low, so why not kick on 3rd down?

Like i said zimmer seems to really trust bridgewater. Assuming that your qb is good and won't make a mistake( throw an int or throw a pass inbounds would qualify as a qb mistake, taking a sack isn't.. Most of the time) kicking on third down would most be looked as playing not to lose. Which fans hate. Bridgewater is definitely no brady, but if you(in this case zimmer) trust him as he was as good as brady(just an example) it definitely does not make sense to just kick it and go into OT.

Though it's probably that zimmer is new to this whole HC job thing because he made a similar mistake before the half.

It's still a big risk, also considering that the kicker did connect with the 54 yard FG, the tie would have been easy to hit.

On a scale of 1-10, how much does it pain you to even have to acknowledge the Giants in this way?

Dont bring up the number 10 pls

Jags kinda dumping on Indy right now. First time in forever that Indy's going to lose a divisional game.
Deschain xJownage GG. The Jags are imo the best team in the AFC South not named the Colts and are closest to greatness compared to Tenessee and Houston. We have more pieces(at least more developed ones) but what the Jags need is more development among the pieces they do have. Robinson and Hurns are a deadly combo, Yeldon looks solid, and Bortles has improved drastically. They just need consistency. We're kinda banged up right now but you guys are good. Respect.
Pretzels Can you please beat Houston tonight? I usually never root for the Pats but it's important that you guys win

The sequence at the end of the first half of the jags game was ridiculous.

Snap over bortles' head, recovered for TD in end zone.
Two big completions to the Indy 30 yard line.
Bortles fumbles, returned to the Jags 38 yard line
Hassleback stripped on a sack, Andre Branch (DE) returns it 50+ yards for TD.

What the actual fuck.

Jags flat out outplayed the Colts. I was there. It was pretty nice to watch from a fan perspective, and it was the largest win in series history for either team, so that's nice. The Jags outscoring the Colts 48-3 after the snap over bortles' head was unexpected af. Also, I love how the fans were cheering "we want scobee" after the missed XP. Yeah, we obviously would rather like 40% kicking or something smh.
Speaking of efficiency, the Jags had like 380 yards of offense to their 51 points. Rashad Greene is proving his worth on returns, but the blocks set up on the play were beautiful and he didn't have to work too hard to make it happen; he just needed to accelerate quickly.

Around the NFL, I knew the Steelers were gonna win, I'm just too much of a pussy to pick them. I can't remember the last time I was so heavily cheering for the Redskins, thanks some hero.
HOLY SHIT THE RAMS SCORED 3 TDS WHAT THE FUCK.
Can Tampa play to their potential for more than one week at a time? Like, seriously.
Lol Atlanta. Imagine when the panthers get Benjamin back and possibly another receiver in FA or Draft. Scary.
Broncos struggling against the RAIDERS at HOME? Ok. Ok.
Green Bay's offense is still inept. Cool.

Fuck the Eagles.

I really don't want the eagles to win just because Chip Kelly is making me hate him, and Herm Edwards was being a total pussy by saying the players were at fault for the weapons leaving. You can't let weapons like those just walk away and then pay for players that DON'T fit your scheme. Murray is a TERRIBLE scheme fit for the Eagles; he's a vision block and one step cut runner, where Kelly needs a spread runner that is good in the open field and catches well (MCCOY). And if McCoy wasn't treated well, why the fuck should he have to suck it up and not tell anybody? If he feels contempt for Kelly, he has every right to let people now. Kelly, on the other hand, is about as adaptive to his players as those square blocks going into circles on kids shape games or whatever the fuck those are. When he got there, this offense had Foles, Desean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin on either side, and Mccoy in the backfield. Great scheme fit for what he loves to do. Now, they have an aging, injury prone, low awareness QB, an RB that doesn't fit the scheme and voices off about not getting enough touches because he can't do anything with the ones he gets, and basically no starting WR. Who is their best WR? Riley Cooper??? They may have the worst receiving core in the League right now, even worse than Carolina, because at least Ginn can get open enough to catch a ball or two occasionally.
