Sorry if this post makes you think zara posted. But I updated the calcs and got to an interesting result: a all-men-on-deck approach actually can shave off around 525 per round. Include 2 Bloodlust rounds and hail and we get to 3190 damage in 5 rounds. Sure, the damage we will actually do will be considerably smaller than that (HH+2 Misty Terrain+Bloodlust+Greninja acting before bloodlust = 5+31+31+69+19 = 155 less damage right off the bat, add a couple healings and we will reach enrage easily). But depending on the specials Garchomp use and assuming we don't screw everything up (again) and no Dig/EQ/RS, we might actually make it on 6 rounds with a couple sacrifices.

So it might be worth it to take this a bit more seriously. We are still screwed, but it isn't impossible. Assuming I haven't screwed up my calcs again.

Round 5

Garo Master blasts Garchomp with a frigid storm, but is immediately met with a powerful blow. Luckily, his protective screen softens the blow before faltering. The other mates don't waste time, and take the opportunity to lay the hurt on the dragon general. Garchomp roars annoyed and turns on Tael, smashing her repeatedly. Then, realizing it can't take on the entire squad by itself, the dragon calls for help!

Garchomp: Aerial support, NOW!

Target: 4/8, 7/7
445-m.png
Mark of Death (Clefable, Lt Surge's Raichu): The affected Pokemon has been marked for death. Two Skarmory (Atk 5, SpA 4, Spe 81) will attack each of the marked targets on the first action of next round, disappearing right after they performed their attack. These Skarmory do not require a charge stage before using Fly or Sky Attack (as if they were using Power Herb). If the Marked target becomes untargettable by any means, the Skarmory will go for random targets among the available ones when they are to act.

Well, at least Audino did get Magnetic Field. The bad part is that the extra attack means problems...

Considering we have 4 more rounds of attacking (and then some suiciding I suppose). Our chill need is as follows:

Syclant: 4 rounds = 60 energy (including bloodlust). Assuming no pluck or incinerate, it should be fine.
Greninja: 4 rounds = 52 energy. Will need to Chill twice to survive the 4 rounds with 2en
Sylveon: 4 rounds = 48 energy (51 if we include another misty terrain). Can do it fineish.
Audino: 4 rounds = 60 energy. Will need to Chill once (actually using like Moonblast once is enough, but regenerator means that chilling isn't an awful idea). Also I want to use Wish with it at least once (+27.5hp for 11 energy). or Draining Kiss (22hp of healing :D. 33hp under bloodlust). Actually Draining Kiss is looking particularly attractive to be used at some point(s). If healing by Draining moves increase Threat as well by the amount of hp healed (can you check it?) we can probably replace Ice Beam with Draining Kiss with little risk.

Aromatisse: 4 rounds = 81 energy means it can run the fucking marathon -_-. Actually it can heal 3 times without worrying about chilling. if more than that.
Clefable: This one is trickier. An attack-only approach means it will survive 4 rounds (and it can even heal pulse once). But it is the mon most indicated to heal (lowest damage output iirc), so it is better off chilling and healing. 1 chill = 2 heals. 2 chills = 4 heals.
Gardevoir: 4 rounds = 48 energy. Each healing will increase this by around 7 per usage. This means it can heal three times without worrying about energy. Actually it would begin round 4 with little energy, but that is besides the point.

Garchomp can deal around 60hp of damage per round to audino considering three attacks (assuming it happens every round, that is). Which is a fuckton. Considering the rolls (out of 8 and including raichu) I am assuming mark of death happens only to the mons without threat, so I am working with 60hp. This means that Audino will need at least around 2 heals per round (or a DK and a heal), that is assuming we can go Raichu to Magnetic Field it once more. If not, Audino will need a round of 3 heals or Reflect (Reflect is actually a better option probably, but I can't calc it precisely now) to make it the 4 rounds, barely.

I don't have time to calc how all the next round will be, so those are mostly random data I've collected so far. We will need to decide now basically:
a) When to Bloodlust?
b) How will healing go?

thoughts? I will try to get on IRC in around 9 hours or so. So hopefully we can discuss shit there.

zarator : Frustration should deal 10+1= 11hp of damage, not 9. And yes I want all the damage I can get -_-.

I checked our previous visit here and on the round garde used Draining Kiss, the healing also counted for threat, so I will assume this is the case.

In that case, I propose we have Draining Kiss - Blizzard as our to-go combination for Audino. We lose some damage (10 per round), but 22hp heals for 6en is too good to pass. IMO, of course.

Some proposed actionsets:

Audino: Draining Kiss (Garchomp) - Blizzard (Garchomp)
Sylveon: Hyper Voice (Garchomp) - Moonblast (Garchomp)

Syclant: Frost Breath (Garchomp) - Blizzard (Garchomp)
Greninja: Chill - Blizzard (Garchomp)

Clefable: Dazzling Gleam/Reflect - Moonblast (Garchomp)
Aromatisse: Heal Pulse (Audino)/Dazzling Gleam - Moonblast (Garchomp)
Gardevoir: Hyper Voice (Garchomp)/Hyper Beam (Garchomp) - Moonblast (Garchomp)/Swift (Garchomp)

due to OBT Reflect net better results than Heal Pulse (and it is cheaper!). Will-o-Wisp would be even better, but misty terrain and all. The bad part about reflect is that I think it puts dig/EQ on the slate. Not sure about it. So, uh, check it, k?

Either way, this should shave off at least 446hp from Garchomp (considering the moves listed as first option and hail). Include raichu and we get at least 468hp of damage (barring a miss). Including Bloodlust and assuming no mon falls (including raichu), and considering that Greninja will Ice beam twice, once during bloodlust, we reach Round 10 with Garchomp having around 110hp (due to misty terrain lasting one less round than our offense). Damage we can probably deal before it is too late, so it should be game assuming no other specials (and fairy tales and santa claus and sane Zarator and other non-likely things).

Assuming 70hp of damage from Garchomp on Audino per round we will reach the end of this round (round 6) with a 50hp Audino. The end of the next round (round 7) will have audino with 19hp and Magnetic Field (so effectively 49hp). The end of Round 8 will have Audino at 28hp (assuming bloodlust) and the end of Round 9 will have Audino at 8hp (also assuming bloodlust) (actually 38hp if magnetic field, but it doesn't matter at this point).

Sure, crits may make it a mighty problem, but one issue at a time.

Clefable can heal once and Aromatisse thrice, so we can heal once per round without the need of chill or Gardevoir. We get dangerously close to a KO tho, so it warrants some planning.

Finally, threat-wise it is like:

Syclant: 90->138->184->232->278->351->420->(...)
Audino: XXX->167->218->262->313->357->437>(...)

Syclant won't ever get more threat than Audino (let alone the 130% limit), so that isn't an issue.

tl;dr: We should decide when to bloodlust. Due to Greninja's low energy, it should be called either on an action greninja is chilling or with it having 26 or more energy. And due to Misty Terrain, we should probably not leave it to round 8, since in that case we will need either someone to use Misty Terrain or we will lose about 54hp of damage. This round is good because of the non-problematic Mark of Death rolls, whereas in the next round we will have a better grasp on the pattern.

Also we may be screwed if other specials and may be fine if no other specials.

Thoughts?

Do it next round IMHO.

Anuhow:

Kuraz: Dazzling Gleam > Moonblast (Garchomp)IF Garchomp is untargetable when you act, THEN use Chill that action.

Aromatisse: Heal Pulse (Audino) > Moonblast (Garchomp)
IF
Garchomp is untargetable when you act A2, THEN use Chill A2.

Elincia: Hyper Beam (Garchomp) > Swift (Garchomp)
IF
Garchomp is untargetable when you act, THEN use Chill that action.

If we absolutely must use Reflect instead of Dazzling Gleam on Clefable, please give me some targets to use it on since I do not have the Glyph.

Next Round works.

Audino: Draining Kiss (Garchomp) - Blizzard (Garchomp)
Sylveon: Hyper Voice (Garchomp) - Moonblast (Garchomp)

Syclant: Frost Breath (Garchomp) - Blizzard (Garchomp)
Greninja: Chill - Blizzard (Garchomp)

Round 6

The majority of the team mates eat a berry to keep going, but since Garo Master lost his own early in the fight, he's forced to pause a moment to take a breath. Meanwhile, a flock of Skarmory suddenly dive onto the battlefield, hurting Kuraz and Lt. Surge's Raichu significantly, but they leave soon after. On the contrary, Garchomp not only shrugs off the other Pokemon's blows but actually endears them to push harder with a defiant roar.

Garchomp: Give in!

Forfeit? We will lose audino this round. Heck, even if my calcs were correct (I swear I don't understand where the 50hp came from...maybe I assumed two healing fsr?) we would lose audino this round in the exact same way. Audino would need to have 55 or more hp to stand a chance to survive the onslaught.

We need to return to the drawing board with this. At least now it should be easy to determine when to bloodlust.

Yeah considering Dragonair-H fainting prematurely, this, and the fact that Mega Altaria is finally ready to rip if we go ahead with using it, it is better to stop now and return a few days later with a new strategy. At least Dragonair is Modest now which would have averted that fainting but c'est la vie.

Forfeit

Most unfortunate, Frosty and Its_A_Random. Better luck next time

Since this is a first try, you can rechallenge the Raid Zone whenever you want.

Also, since this is an undefeated raid of the Hour of Twilight expansion, your loss earns you a Satchel of Salvaged Goods!
