ORAS OU RMT Stall

This is my first attempt of making a stall team and so I decided to make it as cancerous as I could by combining some of the most annoying OU mons (from my experience) and it worked out decently. It's goal was to toxic stall anything that was not a poison, steel, poison heal or magic guard mon and for poison and steel types I had multiple pokemon with burn and Ferrothorn to paralyze them. Heatran is to force out magic guard Clefable and set up rocks while Chansey is for healing unwanted status.

This set allows me to easily switch in on almost any slow physical attacker/weak physical attacker or status inducing pokemon thanks to substitute + toxic orb. Unless they have a direct answer, this thing can and will 6-0 an opponents team if it lacks powerful special attacks or a fast super effective hit. It has eq for the toxic immunities too. It pairs extremely well with Rotom-W as it can simply switch into that in situations against (insert ice move here) and any water type and reliable force most out. Only severe problem is magic guard.

This is the immediate response to a physical threat that sets up and beats Sableye(Azumarill) or if Sableye is mega evolved. T-wave instantly stops any fast pokemon and leech seed is for recovery. It pairs well with Gliscor, Hearten and Sableye defensively and even shuts down teams due to toxic on bulky mons + stealth rocks on sweepers. It even brought back a battle that I lost turn 1 to.

Canada (Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure

Cleric with toxic just cuz this is stall and huge special wall. Great in case Rotom-W dies and forces a ton a stealth rock damage. It completely eliminates my ghost weakness as well as allows me to counter practically every special sweeper in OU. Pairs well with Sableye and Ferrothorn.

George (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD

- Will-O-Wisp

Great partner for gliscor and deals with floating toxic immunities(skarmory mostly). Will-o-Wisp for physical threats and pain split for some kind of recovery. This is a standard defensive Rotom-W set so let's move on to defensive synergy. As its only weakness is grass and mold breaker it pairs well with Ferrothorn and Gliscor for mold breaker Excadrill.

Uber plz (Sableye-Mega) @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD

- Recover
- Foul Play

Standard stall Mega-Sableye set which is used for quick burns, in case of mixed Hoopa Unbound and in case a specialized wall dies. Hearten helps for fairy types. This is probably the least useful mon on my team as the rest do its job better except in the case of weaknesses and in case you somehow run into a mixed mon that is not Hoopa-U.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 140 SpD / 120 Spe
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Protect
- Stealth Rock

Used to have talon flame for Breloom and Mega Venusaur but switched to this because I HATE magic guard Clefable as it beat my entire team. It provides stealth rock support and serves as an extra toxic which works perfectly well against walled steel and poison types who are forced to switch out. Unsure of whether I should change protect for flash cannon in case my Clefable bluff fails, earth power, to beat other Heatran and bulky Zard X or roar to stop Clefable who did not fall for my bluff and set up mons.

  • Mega Venusaur(can outstall all my mons and abuses their low speed)
  • Heal bell
  • Dark types
  • Gliscor

Any and all constructive criticism is appreciated and will be taken into consideration. I hope to improve my team building skills as I feel that they are stifling my skills so that I can get high on the ladder. My average record in a session is 5-2 btw. Thx :]

stealth rock over toxic on chansey, this way you can use spikes over stealth rock on a ferro, spikes put alot of pressure on threats like mega venusaur, also, leftovers ferro, the chip damage you get with helmet isn't worth missing recovery allowing it to live longer, seeing as its your main physical wall.

running this or stall breaker gliscor are better sets because they give your team a much needed offensive presence pressuring your opponent, with spikes on the field this set can easily clean up for u for you

Excadrill @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD

- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic


running this mon over rotom, rotom doesn't help too much, this gives you a way to remove hazards something much needed for stall. mold breaker and toxic allow you to toxic opposing mega staybs. Its typing and larger special bulk allows you to beat fairys.

Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings

next change is talon over heatran, talon can out speed and willow opposing steel types like bisharp, after burning physical threats you can set up on them,its priority acrobatics can be very help full to revenge kill since stall doesn't have any fast members. you can run taunt over bulk up to help shut down skarm but mega stayb and gliscor take of care of it. talon can also beat most fairys

You lose to Manaphy with this team, I'm not to sure how much you need heal bell support as your capable of sponging most statuses, My best suggestion to patch this is to replace Chansey with a CM Blissey

that set is hot garbage chansey outclasses blissey and there is plenty of oter mons like unaware cleff that counter manaphy and can u do that set better

Says the man with 5 MSGs. But it is a niche win-con that easily fits the team without some major changes

this team will never push the 1400 at most, but that blissey set is usless removing statuses is important on most stall teams includding this one where lots of pressure is on mega sayb
