ORAS OU Golden Shiny Team!

Hi, I made a team comprised of solely golden pokemon.

latest

Smeargle @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Own Tempo
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 12 SpD / 244 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Parting Shot
- Spore
- Switcheroo
- Healing Wish

I lead with this smeargle if I am not facing an offense team. Choice scarf spore isn't all that useful, as it usually nets even advantage for both sides as we both need to switch out. Where this smeargle shines is against stall pokemon (with recovery moves). Using switcheroo can really fuck up expecting chanseys! In addition, I like to use this smeargle as a pivot using parting shot (which is like U-turn expect it decreases the foe's attack and special attack) This works really well with my lucario set and allows it to get a few sword dances up.

In addition, Smeargle can use healing wish to save an ally, allowing it to serve two roles, crippling my opponents as well as DE-crippling my own pokemon. Smeargle is the cripple master!

LatiasShiny.png

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Healing Wish

This is my offensive support Latias. I generally send her out to get rid of entry hazards and then proceed to spam draco meteor if no fairies on the enemy team. After Latias gets to low health, I use healing wish to recover a team mates health.

shiny_arcanine_by_thelisten3r-d69bk1k.png

Arcanine @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Morning Sun
- Will-O-Wisp
- Flare Blitz
- Extreme Speed

This is my favorite pokemon on this team. This Arcanine hard counters most physical attackers while punishing their attacks with a rocky helmet. However, I dislike will-o-wisp's inaccuracy at times, and it has cost me several games. Arcanine's intimidate makes it a nice switch in to counter any physical attacks, and its a lot more bulky than it seems.

shiny_azumarill_dream_world_art_by_trainerparshen-d6iembs.png

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off

I just started using Azumarill and I don't really know how to use it properly. I was using choice band, but I disliked being locked into one move so I choice to strap on an assault vest. Usually I spam knock off with azumaril and then when I get to low life I use aqua jet.

latest

Lucario @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Justified
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 196 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 56 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Close Combat
- Bullet Punch

This is a cool lucario I found online. The reasoning behind it is that most people use earthquake to counter lucario; shuca berry renders earthquake a non-counter. Another key thing to note is that since lucario has 90 base speed, putting max speed doesn't actually help it outspeed alot of common threats. As a result, investing in lucario's bulk doesn't forsake too much "outspeeding" and extremespeed / bullet punch remedy this problem. I use him like this:
1) switch lucario into one of the pokemon it counters
2) use sword dance once
3) hope counter uses earthquake
4) sword dance again
5) attempt to sweep with extreme speed
This hits with 125% the power of regular life orb lucario with 1 swords dance.

shiny_mega_altaria_global_link_art_by_trainerparshen-d88o3ni.png

Altaria-Mega @ Altarianite
Ability: Pixilate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Serious Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Hidden Power Electric
- Roost
- Haze

Alteria is my answer to pokemon who just use recovery and stat boosting moves. I recently found myself getting wrecked by cosmic power sigyliff and clefables. I thought that using haze might be a good way to counter that, but Altaria's weakness to fairy generally puts me in a bad matchup vs clefable. I Don't think my team has a good answer to an unaware clefable.

Thanks for taking the time to read my team! I am open to any and all suggestions regarding pokemon changes/ moveset changes, with one caveat. The suggested Pokemon must have some form of the color yellow on it!

OLD POKEMONZ

Weavile @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Toxic
- Pursuit
- Ice Punch

Weavile is usually my lead. I use weavile to stop my opponents from setting up entry hazards. If my weavile gets hit while keeping its focus sash, I generally try to recover its HP to 100 using my Latias's move Healing Wish. Weavile works pretty well as a trapper and revenge killer for me. I generally use toxic when I can't really hurt the opponent with my stab attacks.

For Starters, I would Replace Weavile with Sash Mamoswine as your lead. It gives your team Stealth Rocks as a hazard which will whither down walls like defensive Rotom-Wash that may want to come switch in on your Lucario and Azumarill. Also Mamoswine can throw Earthquakes to wear down bulky Fairies such as Clefable which might stall out your Lucario. Also, Altaria doesn't look like it will be doing much for your team besides the heal bell, which honestly you dont need since you have healing wish on your Latias. I would go Mandibuzz over Altaria to give yourself a pivot into Azumarill or Lucario. Also Mandibuzz gets Knock Off, threatening Chansey and being an annoyance. Sets listed below

Mamoswine@Focus Sash
Ability: Oblivious
EVs: 252 Atk / 8 SpD / 252 Speed
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard

630.png

Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Knock Off
- Roost
- Toxic
- Whirlwind

You can run Whirlwind on Mandibuzz if you are worried about your opponents setting up.

252+ Atk Mamoswine Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 159-187 (40.4 - 47.5%) -- 3.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Mamoswine Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 159-187 (40.4 - 47.5%) -- 54.3% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Edit: It took me a day to realize I didnt suggest Oblivious ._.

This is my offensive support Latias. I generally send her out to get rid of entry hazards if I screwed up with weaville and then proceed to spam draco meteor if no fairies on the enemy team. After Latias gets to low health, I use healing wish to recover a team mates health.

Lucario @ Choice Specs
Ability: Inner Focus
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Aura Sphere
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Vacuum Wave

The choice specz lucario, which is often forsaken in favor of his superior physical movepool. However, I like being able to run hidden power ice, and having 100% accuracy on aura sphere is nice. I'm not sure if this is the optimal way to run lucario or not on this team, but I do lack a dedicated special attacker.

Altaria @ Altarianite
Ability: Cloud Nine
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 104 Def / 156 SpD
Bold Nature
- Roost
- Hyper Voice
- Heal Bell
- Haze

Thanks! However , I switched up my team a bit (update in OP). I don't like using entry hazards because they just get defogged away and I don't use bisharp on my team to punish that, nor do I have a spin blocker. As for Mandibuzz, I put in the mega alteria because I would keep losing to set up sweepers that my opponent would send out last (they would proceed to use calm mind + roost and proceed to sweep my team as I can't really do anything against it). I'll make a new team (not solely gold and test out these two pokemon!)
