Well, you can randomly hatch a shiny, just as you can encounter one in the wild. I'm guessing that, by the same principle as that, it's entirely possible to hatch a baby with Pokerus, even if none of the parents or a party member has it and is actively able to pass it.

if a poke attacks into another poke holding a Toxic/Flame Orb, will the attacking poke become poisoned/burned itself?

But can't it change? Because some people say when you migrate them sometimes there abilities change.
That's when they evolve. Breloom doesn't evolve. Oh, and is it just me or do people on Smogon have issues with using commas? It's probably just my OCD, but it's annoying.

I've noticed that also, and it's annoying. I'm self-consious about it, and as a result, I end up using too many commas myself.

A few questions:

Is there any benefit to hatching a munchlax instead of a snorlax?

Does ANYONE use ball seals?

Is it possible to win the master contests >>

Where can I safely download pokesav (no, im NOT hacking pokemon, I just need to check legitness more than anything >>)

And finally, are there any Pokemon giveaway events planned for the US currently?

What is Obi mode?

Obi mode is a strategy in the 2v2 ubers metagame (like using Mewtwo and such) where you lead with Smeargle and a fast pokemon with a sleep move and Fake Out (Jynx.) Your Jynx fakes out one pokemon while Smeargle puts the other to sleep. Next turn, Smeargle endures the upcoming attack. He should have a Salac Berry equipped, so that activates, making him very fast. Now Smeargle uses Endeavor on the sleeping pokemon (or the other if its more threataning), leaving it with 1 hp left, and you can finish it off with Jynx. There, you have just crippled half of your opponents team (2v2 ubers usually uses 4 pokemon). You can now continue Endeavoring the rest of your opponents team with Smeargle, or put them to sleep. The only downside to this is that you use half of your team with this strategy, and if it fails (which is rare), thats pretty much game for you unless you have a very good 2nd half of you team.

Hopefully i got this right for the most part.

Whoa. Weird. I should of seen it? I guess I was scrolling too fast or something =P. Do you know why its gonna be somewhere next August?
