ORAS OU Firts RMT - Mega-Latios balance.

Hi all! This is my first Rate My Team, I'm still new at this and wanted to see how well I was leaving. Well, let's look at the team.

The team: I don't know how to put the sprites, sry.

I started with Mega-Latios, one of my favorite Mega-Pokémon, and without doubt, one very strong. I opted for a set that could destroy walls as Ferrothorn, Bulky Scizor, Heatran, Slowbro, Amoonguss, Chansey, etc.

Latios-Mega @ Latiosite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 56 Atk / 200 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Earthquake
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Draco Meteor

I continued with Doublade, my check for type dragon, fairy, fight, normal, rock, flying and poison. At first I chose to use swords dance, but after seeing a little better, I decided to put Pursuit to prevent changes of any psychic type while not wearing Shadow Ball.

Doublade @ Life Orb
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit/Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword
- Iron Head

Then I continued with Sylveon Specs, which I decided to change by Sylveon Scarf to make outspeed to Keldeo Specs, Garchomp LO, Mega-Pinsir, Latios / as, Dragonite (which can be defeated only after the damage Stealth rocks) Salamence, etc. Sylveon is my check for dark type, fight, dragon and bug.

Sylveon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Shadow Ball/Hyper Beam
- Psyshock

I decided to go with some support, although my first choice was Chansey, I chose to use Miltank, who provides me with an excellent physical defense when Talonflame LO / CB is in the battlefield. Miltank provides me with immunity to the ghost type, which is great when making core with Doublade. And thanks to Heal Bell, I can cure the status of my Pokémon.

Miltank @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 216 HP / 108 Def / 184 SpD
Bold Nature
- Milk Drink
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Heal Bell

I continued with defensive Talonflame, my coverage to the land type in addition to Latios (who does not defend me so much when braking to Excadrill with Mold Breaker). Talonflame also defends me the bug type, grass, fight, fairy, steel and fire. Defensive set provides excellent defense vs physical Sweepers that are slower than Talonflame, and can stop hazzard users as Ferrothorn or Garchomp (when no Stone Edge).

Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 232 HP / 12 Atk / 216 SpD / 48 Spe
Careful Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Taunt

Finally, Excadrill, who is my spinner and user of Stealth Rocks. Excadrill can check Latios, Latias, fairy type, and provides immunity to Electric Type and a great defense against special sweepers that do not carry such movements fighting, fire, ground or water. It also gives me the opportunity to check Heatran with Flash Cannon or Mega-Zard-X Adamant (before boost).

Excadrill @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 176 HP / 76 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head

Threatlist:
Well, since I don't uses as much the team, do not know exactly what you can give counter ... So , it remains to be seen later .

Sorry if you don't understand . My original language is Spanish and I'm trying to improve more my English.

Hello, welcome to Smogon. You need to add three lines of description to each of your Pokemon or you risk it being locked. Mini-modding aside, let's get into the rate.

First of all, I would say that you should remove Mega Latios. I understand it being your favorite Pokemon, and I'm totally cool with that. However, it should be noted that Mega Latios is not viable in this metagame, and that it is outclassed in many ways. I would suggest using Regular Latios with a Life Orb, as it hits harder than Mega Latios and doesn't take up your Mega Slot. Regular Latios can use Defog as well, giving you the option of hazard removal so that your Talonflame no longer fears Stealth Rocks.

The next thing I would like to consider is Miltank. Miltank is definitely not viable in this metagame, and is actually outclassed by Chansey. Chansey literally does everything better (including Heal Bell and taking physical hits due to Eviolite), only with more astronomical bulk and how it counters most special attackers. Chansey is a better option than Miltank in the role you are suggesting. It also checks many of the defensive threats you mentioned in the beginning. Chansey also has access to Stealth Rock so you can set up hazards against your opponent's team.
excadrill.gif

The third thing worth changing is Excadrill. Without Sand or a Choice Scarf, it finds itself outsped many times and knocked out due to its rubbish defenses. Excadrill, especially with the EV spread you have listed, cannot due substantial damage, and without a user of Sand on your team, I can see it being dead weight most of the time. If you listened to the Latios change you will find that you will not have a problem with hazards, so I suggest having a lead instead. There are many options to consider, but some that would particularly help this team are Air Balloon Heatran, Ferrothorn, Defensive Garchomp, and Landorus-Therian.

The next one up for rating is Sylveon. Scarfed Sylveon has a bad speed tier that makes it outsped by many threats to this team such as Mega Lopunny, Mega Manectric, and Mega Alakazam. Although Sylveon doesn't really need to be changed, Clefable is a sturdy option as it checks many of the threats you considered, and can hit back.

Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power Fire
- Defog

Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Toxic/Thunder Wave
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Heal Bell/Stealth Rock

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Heal Bell

In short, the changes are:
