thanks The Shadow Knight

regarding the third however I meant that for example you already caught a Cresselia there is a rebattle code available for the AR using it allows you to catch Cresselia again this does make it legit right?

Another question regarding the manaphy event when you transfer from PRanger is it's nature set already or can you SR for it?

you know Ditto's can give their child the same nature while holding an everstone. Now my question: Can female pokemon also pass down their nature when holding an everstone?

So I was told to give the moveset for my Zapdos... which I did... two pages back when it was ignored. So here it is again.

Zapdos - #145 (Bold)
HP: 30
Att: 16
Def: 31
SpA: 7
SpD: 22
Speed: 9

Roost
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power (Ghost 63)/Toxic/Drill Peck
Thunder Wave

The question pertains to my EV spread for this sucker. I'm currently thinking 252 HP/166 DEF/92 SPD. 252 HP matches the analysis suggestion, 92 SPD brings his currently craptastic Speed IV up to the level of a normal no-speed Zapdos, and 166 DEF fills out the spread and bulks up his defense.

My second spread possibility is 252 HP/252 DEF/6 SPD. This means I tell his Speed IV to go jump off a cliff and focus only on HP and DEF.

A third option is to go with 252 HP/130 DEF/128 SPD. This brings his Speed stat to the level suggested in the Roost analysis to beat out T-Tar.

I have two questions:

When a pokemon is traded from a GBA game into my pearl game for instance haunter it has pretty good stats giving it a hidden ICE attack at 63... I was wondering if I traded it again to another pearl/diamond game to evolve it, should i put hidden power on it first? will the stats change when it evolves to gengar?

I Also heard that training a haunter to 100 give it better stat boosts then if u were to train a gengar to 100... that doesnt seem right? Can someone point me to the right direction? im lost.. lol

Thanks in advance

You can put on the Hidden Power at any time, it doesn't matter when. And no, the stats won't change upon evolving.

Someone doesn't know what they're talking about. Maybe a mixed-up idea about EV training?

Thanks in advance

Thanks marrilpet!

Also I had another question
im going for

Gengar @ choice band
Levitate
Timid Nature, 252 SpAtk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
~ Sludge Bomb
~ Shadow Ball
~ Thunderbolt
~ Hidden Power Ice

Is the choice band a good idea? or should I go with something else?

Choice Band sucks. It boosts Attack. Every last one of those moves is special. What you need is Choice Specs. It boosts Special Attack.
