Trick Room Team

Hi all guys :D
The trick room strategy has always fascinated me, so I'm trying to build some teams based on this.
The first is for the RU tier.

Camerupt (M) @ Cameruptite
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

All the team start from Mega-Camerupt, a really high SpAtk pokemon. In TRTeam he solves his only problem, the speed. We can say that he is one of the main sweepers of the team.
Flamethrower (>Fire Blast for the accuracy) and Earth Power are the STABs, while RestTalk is to continue the sweep and to resolve status problems. I preferred these two last moves on HP Ice and, Stealth Rock and Toxic just becasue with 0ivs in speed i cant take HP Ice, then i have another stealth rock setter and toxic spammer. I really noticed that this set is awesome.

Eelektross (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Volt Switch
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain
- Flash Cannon

The core is complete with Eelektross.
He has a great synergy with Camerupt:
he can absorb earth moves and he gives a safe switch in with Volt Switch, finally he has a great movepool.
Volt Switch is the STAB, while Flamethrower and Giga Drain are for more coverage. In last slot i cant take a HP because of the 0ivs in speed, so I opted for Flash Cannon to hit the fucking fairy type D:
Leftovers is to give him a little of recover, while running a Life Orb he could go down with the recoil.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Trick Room

Now we start with the Trick Room setters. The first is the evergreen Bronzong.
With Levitate he can also take the earth moves, while Camerupt can absorb fire attacks.
This set is just a test:
max the Atk to give an higher physical presence in the team, but he runs moves to support the team, like the Room, Toxic and the Stealths. Max Atk Gyro Ball is quite impressive D:

Slowking (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Ice Beam
- Trick Room

The second setter is Slowking.
As said in the smogon description, this pokemon is also a good stand-alone sweeper to win the game. He is also a good setter for the Room (obv). Then a bulky water type is always good in team.
Scald and Psyshock (>Psychic) as STABs, while for the last slot I put Ice Beam, even if I thought to Calm Mind as boost, or Shadow Ball to hit Hoopa, that gives me troubles (with Life Orb I can 100% OHKO him).

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Diamond Storm
- Trick Room

The final setter is Diancie.
He takes a great advantage from the Room, seen the great defensive stats and the low speed.
Moonblast and Diamond Storm as STABs (Diamond Storm>Ancient Power; even if DStorm is physical, makes more damage than the special Ancient Powa D:), while Earth Powa is for coverage.
Leftover>Life Orb to give a little of recover.

Hitmonlee @ Life Orb
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Rapid Spin

Now I needed a removal for the hazards.
In this role I choosed Hitmonlee for three reasons:
first he can learn rapid spin, then he is a good physical sweeper thanks to his trait Reckless and High Jump Kick, finally he has a good priority with Sucker Punch that allows me to OHKO Hoopa.
Life Orb to give more power, but i thought to a Choice Band too.
Honestly, I am not 100% sure of this choice, I considered Shiftry too at this place, with Defog and STAB Knock Off and Sucker Punch.

So, this is the team, I hope u will answer, advising me how to improve because I really love the Trick Room strategy.

Thanks in advance to all who will reply and, as always, sorry for my English.

Hey there, nice team! I always find Trick Room Camerupt teams cool, so I'll give this one a rate:

  • The set on Camerupt doesn't make much sense; it seems that your whole team is based around getting in Camerupt under Trick Room to sweep, so why do you have a resttalk set that just wastes Trick Room turns? I would add Hidden Power Ice>Rest for Flygon and Fire Blast >Sleep Talk. This gives Camerupt a better chance to sweep and ultimately these moves will be used a lot more than resttalk. Fire Blast is for a more powerful hit than Flamethrower; you could keep both moves on the set or replace Flamethrower with Toxic.
  • Life Orb > Leftovers on Diancie lets it apply much more pressure and hit harder, you don't really need Leftovers as Diancie can still check the Pokemon it needs to.
  • Usually Trick Room teams are structured with 2 Trick Room setters and 2 Trick Room abusers. You've got 3 setters and only 1 abuser. I suggest taking out Slowking and Bronzong and compressing the role of Trick Room setter + Stealth Rock setter + Fighting Resist (right now your fighting resist is OTR Slowking) into one Pokemon, being Colbur Berry Mesprit. Mesprit also has amazing utility with Healing Wish, letting it heal up Camerupt for it to punch more holes.
  • A second abuser of Trick Room that doubles as a good check for Grass types, Meloetta, and Hoopa is Assault Vest Escavalier. This adds a great Steel typing that compliments the defensive synergy of the team along with doing a great job in Trick Room.
  • Your team needs something that can function outside of Trick Room in the event of you not being able to set it up; I suggest Jolteon > Eelektross that has a great speed tier that can revenge kill a bunch of annoying Pokemon outside of Trick room like Emboar and Durant. Volt Switch also does a great job in bringing one of your Trick Room setters or Camerupt in for free. HP Water is definitely needed on it because your team is weak to opposing Camerupt.

Thank you m8, sure u give me a lot of help advising me these changes, I'll try Mespritt + Escavalier even if I'd like to hold Slowking, serious he is too much strong also without the room, in some games he knocked out 2/3 pokemon D:
Maybe I'll try Escavalier>Bronzong, making Diance the setter of the team.
