Hello persons of the interwebs. I've recently been exposed to this forum-place and would like to share the OU team I have been using and interact with you people to help make my team better. This is my first time doing an RMT, so I apologize for any errors. Without further adieu, here goes:
Azumarill @ Life Orb
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Brick Break
- Knock Off
- Play Rough
I like to use Azumarill as my lead, though I not that's not it's best use. I use Aqua Jet for obvious priority and STAB, Brick Break for Ferrothorn, Knock Off to get annoying items out of the way, and Play Rough for Fairy STAB. This poke is used primarily to take out an opposing lead poke or to inflict severe damage.
Manectric-Mega @ Manectite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Volt Switch
- Quick Attack
Mega-Man(etric) has become one of my favorite mega evos, as it's great SpA and speed make it a formidable opponent. I'm not too high on the moveset, and would love help for this one.
Swoobat @ Leftovers
Ability: Simple
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Roost
Here's one I don't see at all in competitive: Simple Swoobat. I swapped out Unaware Clefable for this poke. Swoobat has Calm Mind, which will raise SpA and SpDef 2(!) stages each time. Swoobat has a use as a complete special wall, and doubles as a sneaky sweeper if opponents don't recognize this set. Roost for HP restoration and HP Fighting to counter Dark types if the need arises.
Gengar @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Sucker Punch
- Hidden Power [Rock]
Gengar is my M-Charizard counter, with his HP Rock. With 2 STAB moves and a priority move, Gengar is a great switch-in poke that can do some damage.
Serperior @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Contrary
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Glare
- Knock Off
Obligatory Contrary Leaf Storm Serperior. Glare to slow down opponents and maybe get a free attacking turn, Dragon Pulse to counter dragons and generally do damage if Leaf Storm is super resisted.
Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Iron Head
- Poison Jab
Finally, Excadrill. With Mold Breaker, Excadrill is a reliable Rotom stopper. Stone Edge will counter M-Zard and other flying types, Iron Head to deal with Fairy types, and Poison Jab to counter Grass types.
Well, that's my team. They perform fairly decent for me, though I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks for reading this whole thing!
