For instance if someone hacks to get a pokemon but doesnt change the stats so its basically like if you caught it from the wild. How so you really know? Also can you use it in net battle or no?

Even if they did change the stats, but they are obtainable regularly does that matter either?

Like if it is in something other then a normal Pokeball and it says it's from an egg.Or if it's in a Cherish Ball and it's impossible to get one in a Cherish Ball.
 
If Azumarill with Huge Power or Medicham recieve an attack boost, how does it work? Are their abilities acting as a +2 boost already and something like Swords Dance will only boost it to +4? Or does it double the stat, then recieve a second double, either from the boost or the ability, making it like a +6?

With Pure or Huge Power, it's not a standard boost; it's just a x2 on the end of their attack stat calculation. A Medicham with a SD passed to it and 240 attack would have 2(2(240)) attack, or 960.
 
Can you used a hacked pokemon in net battle?
If the stats were changed but they are attainable by normal leveling is there a way to tell otherwise?
 
Wondering a few things for a hail team:

Is the SubSeed Abomasnow standard? (Blizzard/sub/seed/filler)
What's the standard Froslass set?
Since they don't NEED to have six Pokemon immune to Hail, is the last slot usually occupied by a strong physical sweeper? (most likely one that takes Fire attacks which a good part of the team could be weak to)
 
ok i think i messed up my ar
i try putting this pokesav for the items but i accidently deleted all the game in my ar
so i paniced and shut the ds
off
now its says i dont have enough space and when i add a game it the screen turns all messed up
 
Could someone please direct me to the D/P Pokemon capture formula? (You know, the one that determines whether a Pokemon will be caught.) I have to figure out why I almost never automatically catch a paralyzed L22 Kadabra with an Ultra Ball, as the latest formula I can find here (the one in the Legendary Catching Guide from Arseus) says that it should be caught each and every time.

(Hm, maybe I'm better off trading for a Timid Kadabra... XD)
 
When you put a Pokémon in your PC with Pkrs, does it reset the time it takes to cure itself or just pause it? & how long will Pkrs last?

When you put pokes in the PC, it's as though time freezes. However, my pokes normally only lose their "pokerus" status overnight when they're in my main party.

Does anyone think a dunsparce would be competitive-worthy if it has secret power rather than body slam? 15 less base power, but same 60% chance of paralysis. *as in, if I put it in a trade thread, would you settle for it, as long as it had competitive IVs? :P* just seeking opinions...
