Hi, megaqwer here. I'm about to show you an AG HO team consisting of two of the best stall breakers in the current metagame. Lets GO!

Some music to listen to :]

I was trying out various stall teams, but wasn't getting much success. The reason for this was that HO teams put immense pressure on the teams and winning depended a lot on match-up. Therefore, I decided to try out the HO play-style and hence built this team.

Team Building Process

I always choose a rock setter for my teams first. For this team I tried various options like bulky variants of Arceus, Excadrill and Fairy-Arceus. None of them seemed to work too well and I wanted to use something unique. I was unable to find one....... but my friend/tutor of past HunterStorm provided me with a very unique setter, Ghost Arceus.

493-ghost.png

The second mon I chose to put on the team was kyogre becuase it puts immense pressure on almost anything and does very well against other HO Teams. It either OHKOs or seriously damages opposing mons. Also P-Kyogre does well against stall teams that have been going around lately.

493-ghost.png
kyogre.png

With P-Kyogre doing a lot of damage to any mon, it leaves them free to be revenge killed rather than taking them out on its own. Also, stall was something which was troubling me a bit. So there, I added M-Gar as a fast revenge killer immune to ES, and as a stall breaker

493-ghost.png
kyogre.png
gengar-mega.png

Next I added a Physical Ghost-Arceus, it gives me another check for Ekillers and something that can set-up on them and steal the game. It also helps me handle Gira a bit better

gengar-mega.png

What's a HO Team without Ekillers? I added two Ekillers next thinking I had covered all other bases well. One with LO and the other with Lum + Magic Coat to handle status better.

Can't take credit for this set, I took it from HunterStorm. SR helps me break sashes and handle mons such as Lugia better. WoW helps me render any Physical attacker useless, unless they're immune to it. Judgment is a great STAB move to do addittional damage after you have set up rocks and burned the opposing mon. Roar is there to roar out anything that tries to set-up against it.

The EVs maximize damage out-put while the HP investment helps Ogre absorb attacks, ES in specific, a bit more easily and a wee bit of investment in Spe to outspeed opposing P-Dons.Now moving on to moves.Origin pulse is kyogre's main move, it just blast away almost all things that doesnt resist it or deals huge damage after a Calm Mind boost.Ice beam on the other hand is a very nice coverage move to blast away the flyings types roaming in the skys. While sleep talk may seem a little weird without rest, but I'm using it for the suprise factor vs darkrai (which is one of the threats to this team.) , if I make the right plays and predict nicely, Darkrai can be brought down.

The evs are the most common ones used for the offensive speical attacker with a timid nature to outspeed the most of the tier and with an excellent ability to traping foe and making some of them completely useless .Focus blast is to effectively take out the Arceus Formes and do A ton yo other mons after rocks are up.Protect is to survivie while mega evolving against faster pokemons like Arceus,Rayquaza etc.Sludge Wave is Gengar's Main STAB, ostly used to deal with fairy types.

Other Options
Shadow Ball>Destiny Bond
:You can use shadow ball instead of d bond if you're having trouble dealing with ghost types and mewtwo.

Hi, and great team you have there :)
It seems very weak to klefki, however, which can easily 6-0 your team once your mcoat arc is down (and even before if they have sub). As such, i would suggest a second lum Arceus over life orb, as it is mostly unneeded on your team.

Secondly, I would suggest switching one of your Ghost Arceus out (maybe to ground), as that is just stacking dark weaknesses to be obnoxious.
Finally, even if you keep it remove brick break please. Earthquake or Stone Edge are better (for Klefki or Yveltal), seeing as it already beats normal Arceus, and still loses to Rai.

Also, 28 speed on the defensive ghostceus is better.

Love a good Kyogre team, and the team looks pretty solid but I think I can definitely help with your threats! This teams biggest weakness is dark types. They absolutely slaughter this team. Bulky Yveltal can literally 6-0 you if gengar drops to a sucker punch, and Darkrai just walks all over you if they get it against your Ghost Arceus. Having a Rest Talker is nice, but the thing is if it is slower than Darkrai it still gets beat easily if it comes in on an already subbed rai.

Now for your Xerneas problem. This may sound weird, but I think thelinearcurve 's Poison Arceus > LO Ekiller. As you said yourself, you just kinda added Ekillers as filler. Poison Arceus fills the same role as an offensive priority user that can potentially sweep, but the difference is Poison Arceus is guaranteed to live anything Xerneas will run, hell even Psyshock doesn't OHKO. It also gives you a reliable Lugia switchin, which is nice. Poison Jab's chance to Poison is actually really nice, unlike other Arceus formes who you need to play around even if you switch a resist into Poison Jab such as Primal Groudon you still run a 30% chance of getting crippled, which is absolutely beautiful. It does survive a +2 EQ from Jolly Ekiller as well, a nice bonus.

Instead of your offensive Ghost Arceus, why not try... wait for it... Terrakion! This isn't a joke. A Scarfed Terrakion equipped with Sleep Talk is an excellent Darkrai answer, as not only do you get an attack boost from Dark Pulse but you also resist Sludge Bomb which is huge. It also puts in work against most offensive teams in general. I know this is kind of niche, but you're desperately in need of Dark-type checks, and Stone Edge also gets Yveltal which is huge. I'm stealing Zangooser's set but replacing Earthquake with Sleep Talk because you are moderately weak to Fairies so I don't think dropping Iron Head is an option, and being locked into Ground-type moves is horrible due to the large amount of floating Pokemon.

Nice team~

Adding on to what yelawolf said, Arc poison is a amazing xerneas check. It takes 25-28% percent on the switch, and only 50% from a +2 moonblast. This lets you easily revenge kill.

This is a p nice team, I think with lum>lo on the ekiller you really can play around most threats p well other than yveltal (smh how do you let it just win multiple times and not do anything about it). However, I do think that there are more effective ways to patch up your weaknesses than Poison Arceus and Terrakion, neither of which really help vs Yveltal and both of which add some nice Ground weaknesses for the already looming Pdon and Groundceus. At the same time, I do agree with the idea that 2 ghost arceus come off as redundant and problematic when you have such a noticeable Yveltal issue already (and 3 ghost types in darkrai meta sucks) and some change is definitely needed. While keeping one would be nice, replacing a Normal Arceus only leaves you down a Lum check to Darkrai and Klefki. So I think you should consider offensive Ghostceus --> Scarf Jirachi. You now have an easily workable GeoXern check for Arcspam, a check to darkrai if a mon goes down without a sub (or even something to break the sub and u-turn into lumcoat arceus) and ez flinches vs defensive no sucker yveltal. But since that's not enough for Yveltal, why not change the defensive Ghostceus --> defensive Fairyceus? The typing isn't going to change the role it fits, but Fairyceus fares better vs Darkrai and Yveltal and is still bulky enough to Roar out Pdon even with a worse matchup thanks to less effective judgement. And Ho-Oh still boned ur ghostceus set just as much basically. You can even go same set, I'm just suggesting swapping the plate. The final thing is, you could definitely consider some extra creep on Pogre for opposing don and the like, more of a personal call how much you want to creep but just 4 over the standard bulky spread should leave you slower than plenty of Don. Anyway, I hope these changes helped you out.

Nice team~

Adding on to what yelawolf said, Arc poison is a amazing xerneas check. It takes 25-28% percent on the switch, and only 50% from a +2 moonblast. This lets you easily revenge kill.

Thanks!Nice to know you liked it! :D

Wow, great team. Not too much to change , especially changes that people haven't already mentioned :P
Firstly I would do LO -> Lum on Ekiller #2. From experience you can almost never have enough ways to deal with Darkrai, and having two Lum SD Ekillers is a great way to improve your matchup there, and being able to EQ Klef after having Lum activate is of course excellent.
As Megazard said I'd do a bit more speed creep on Pogre. Love how he works with this team, and with a bit more creep he can really threaten Pdon with a boosted Ice Beam, especially if Pdon's switching in.
And here's an idea to throw out there, SD Poisonceus over SD Ghostceus. The physical pressure keeping 3 SD Arceus bring is awesome, especially having one that exploits Xern. Poison + Ground coverage leaves very few safe.

Really not many fixes, nice team!

Quantum Tesseract technically nobody recommended poisonceus to replace sd ghostceus :P

Tfw you reccomend the same things as everyone else.

POgre seems like a solid boon, though. What do you think, 24 or 28 speed EVs?
