ORAS OU Loveanny2's first OU team

First team so please feel free to give suggestions and anything else helpful :), also this team isn't mine. It belongs to my friend Loveanny 2.

Loveanny2's mostly UU (but still OU) first team!

1roserade.gif

Roserade @ Black Sludge
Ability: Poison Point
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dazzling Gleam
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Toxic Spikes

This suspicious poison/grass type has many tricks up its sleeve. Roserade is a nice swap in to most OU pokemon as it is running max SpA with Dazzling Gleam to deal with drags such as Garchomp, Giga Drain for STAB +recovery which is good for Quagsire, Sludge Bomb for more STAB to be used on fairy types such as Clefable and Azumarill, and Toxic spikes for the constant switching they'll be doing for this.

1sylveon.gif

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind

Sylveon, oh Sylveon. A very annoying pokemon to deal with. This pokemon is quite bulky and hits hard with STAB Pixilated Hyper Voice, Psyshock as a filler, Shadow Ball for type coverage, and Calm Mind to set up and become even more annoying. Sylveon is also a great check for Weavile, Mega Sableye, AND Mega Lopunny.

1weavile.gif

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Night Slash
- Poison Jab
- Ice Shard
- Ice Punch

weavile has great attack and speed stats which makes it a very good revenge killer for OU, its variety of STAB attacks do decent damage to most OU pokemon. It has Night Slash for great STAB, Poison Jab to deal with pesky fairies, Ice punch for moar STAB and Ice shard as a great priority move.
1chandelure.gif

Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
- Energy Ball

Chandelure is our main check for psychic and other ghost types. It has flamethrower for good STAB , Shadow Ball also STAB for ghost and psychic, Psychic as a filler, and energy ball to take out any threatening water types, its scarfed and so outspeeds Latios, and has Flash Fire as a check for fire types and increased flamethrower dmg.

1pidgeot-mega.gif

Pidgeot-Mega @ Pidgeotite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Air Slash
- Roost

Mega Pidgeot is a very offensive poke, with No Guard Hurricane it can OHKO many different pokes as it outspeeds as well. With its HUGE SpA it can deal heaps of damage to almost anything, and can stop the very overused Mega Scizor in its tracks, however it is prone to Thundurus, Rotom-wash and Landorus-Therian as they can outspeed and take it out very easily. It's sad that mega pidgeot is quite under used as it is very useful for taking out most OU pokemon.

1forretress.gif

Forretress @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Drill Run
- Gyro Ball
- Rapid Spin

Last and most definitely least (sorry Forretress) is our hazard setter / remover. Pretty basic moveset , Stealth rock for setup, Drill run to demolish those shitty fire types for type coverage, Gyro Ball for STAB, and Rapid spin for hazard clearing.

This isn't a 10/10 team and probably has many holes so feel free to point out anything.

Roserade @ Black Sludge
Ability: Poison Point
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dazzling Gleam
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Toxic Spikes

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Night Slash
- Poison Jab
- Ice Shard
- Ice Punch

Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
- Energy Ball

Pidgeot-Mega @ Pidgeotite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Air Slash
- Roost

Forretress @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Drill Run
- Gyro Ball
- Rapid Spin

Cool looking team :) Just some initial changes I'd recommend would be going with Knock Off>Night Slash and Icicle Crash>Ice Punch on Weavile. The additional power that Icicle crash provides is worth the slightly lower accuracy, and avoiding Rocky Helmet and Rough Skin damage is great as well as the flinch chance. I also feel that going with Pursuit>Poison Jab can allow Weavile to function better to beat the Psychic and Ghost types that you have Chandelure on the team for, and with Roserade to beat Fairies (as well as Heatran who I will suggest replacing Chandelure with), I don't feel Poison Jab is necessary. I would also recommend U-turn>Air Slash on Pidgeot. Realistically you will never click Air Slash, Hurricane has 100% accuracy and you shouldn't be banking on the 30% flinch chance (which is the only reason I can find why you would ever click it). U-turn allows you to scout for their initial switch in and switch to your appropriate check/counter. I would also recommend making both of these mons +Speed natured. The main draw to these mons are their great speed and letting them be outsped by base 110s and above (which is a very crowded speed tier) seems like a big price for a bit of extra damage.

Here's the changed sets:
Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Pursuit
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash

Pidgeot-Mega @ Pidgeotite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- U-turn
- Roost

I would also recommend changing the Roserade set. The main draw of using Roserade is that it is a less passive way of dealing with Azumarill, which otherwise you don't really have any good answers to. The following set is more focused on dealing with Azumarill:

Roserade @ Black Sludge
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 160 HP / 248 Def / 100 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sludge Bomb
- Rest

This spread allows Roserade to take 2 hits from Banded Azumarill and OHKO with Leaf Storm (this is why Leaf Storm is used over Giga Drain). It can also take a +6 Aqua Jet from BD Azumarill. The speed EVs allow you to outspeed base 70s like Breloom and Bisharp. HP Fire is there to hit Ferrothorn and Scizor.

I also recommend changing the Sylveon set to a Specs set. This set makes Sylveon a great wallbreaker without the need to set up, and since Hyper Voice is a pretty spammable move you shouldn't need to worry too much about not being able to switch moves. It also allows Sylveon to lure in opposing Heatran, which poses a threat to the majority of your mons. Here's the standard Specs set.

Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 240 HP / 252 SpA / 16 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 1 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 SpD
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Baton Pass

Now on to potential team member changes. I feel like you are relying on Forretress to carry out too many roles here, being almost something you tacked on at the end to provide rocks and hazard removal rather than also being able to perform outside of these roles. I also don't feel like it's a particularly reliable form of Hazard control and is rather passive. That's why I recommend swapping it for Latios. Latios would provide the team with a much needed electric resist, as well as another Keldeo check. It's also capable of forcing certain out, providing you with the opportunity to Defog, something Forretress wasn't.

Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Roost

And finally I opted for swapping Chandelure for Heatran. Heatran provides the team with a rocker, as well as a pretty great answer to opposing Heatran (considering it is max speed with an Air Balloon). Flash Cannon is there to take on fairies and Fire Blast is there to nuke Pokemon that don't resist it. It also forms a Dragon Fairy Steel core with Sylveon and Latios.

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Stealth Rock

There we go, hopefully this team is pretty effective.

Here's the full importable:
