I stopped playing UU when zapdos went back to OU. So it's been like 2 months since I've played UU and I wanted to get back into the tier cause Ou gotten boring and theres some many OU pokemon is UU now. So for my first team for my return to UU is built around Calm Mind Reuniclus. It's super bulky and super strong.

The Team

reuniclus.gif

Reuniclus @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Recover

Reuniclus is my primary sweeper. I have max hp max defense bold for maximum physical defense. O iv in attack for least amount of damage from foul play. Psyshock for calm mind wars and Focus Blast for dark types. This move sets make it so I'm walled by Sableye but I have other Pokemon to deal with Sableye.

sylveon.gif

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect

Sylveon is an amazing partner for Reuniclus. Sylveon takes the dark and bug type targetted at Reuniclus and kills dark types like Hydreigon and Sableye that scare Reuniclus. Sylveon also provides heal bell support for the team and can pass wishes to Pokemon Empoleon and Meinshao. Max defense Max Hp for better physical bulk since Sylveons special defensive is pretty good.

mienshao.gif

Mienshao @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge

Mienshao role is to to be the speed for my team since I was lacking some. As well can be a late game cleaner if it's checks and counters are gone. I have Reckless over Regenerator for the extra power and I have sylveon to pass which to heal up Meinshao.

chesnaught.gif

Chesnaught @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Synthesis
- Leech Seed
- Spiky Shield
- Drain Punch

He's my main defensive wall. He also forms a nice core with Empolean since Empolean takes the ice and
flying attacks aimed at Chesnaught and in return Chesnaught handles Empoleans ground weakness. I have
Synthesis over spikes because I wanted that reliable recovery. Chesnaught checks a a lot of pokemon like Crawdaunt, Conkedeldur.and Krokodile.

empoleon.gif

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
- Defog

Empolean is my main Rock setter and hazard control. Empolean is my fairy switch in and my Cloyster counter. Scald because it's so spam-able, and roar for stopping set up. Max hp and Max sp defense for maximum special bulk.

cloyster.gif

Cloyster @ Focus Sash
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rock Blast
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Spear
- Shell Smash

Cloyster is an amazing end game sweeper with shell smash. As well Cloyster provides priority and a revenge killer with the focus sash. I have an adamant nature for the extra damage and chose Ice shard of hydro pump for priority and it has better accuracy.

Threats

Physical fire types since I have no switch in to a flare blitz. Just have to wear them down with recoil and rocks.

Mega Beedrill I have no switch in.

Hey tankmonx, I've got a few suggestions for your team! You mention physical Fire-types as one of your biggest concerns, which is something I'll address in this rate. Something I've also noticed is that you lack a switch-in to Mamoswine, which really pressures your team if it can get in safely.

SubDD Gyarados over SS Cloyster

As of right now I don't see how Cloyster specifically benefits your team. It offers very little synergy with the rest of your team and feels like a "glued on" sixth member. In order to better combat your weakness to Fire-type threats, I recommend using a Substitute + Dragon Dance Gyarados over Cloyster. SubDD Gyarados maintains the cleaner aspect of a boosting sweeper while giving yourself an answer to common physical Fire-types (ie Entei and Infernape). Intimidate will help weaken opposing Mega Beedrill and other physical sweepers, which can really help in a late-game scenario. Gyarados is also an exceptional answer to Mamoswine, since its typing and ability really stymies Mamoswine's effectiveness. You'll have to watch out for Freeze Dry (which doesn't see much, if any use in tournament play), but you will naturally outspeed Mamoswine and should be able to scout with Substitute or KO with Waterfall before it gets the chance to surprise you.

Choice Scarf Hydreigon over Choice Scarf Mienshao

However, making this change leaves you vulnerable to Electric-type sweepers like Rotom-H. A simple change from Choice Scarf Mienshao to Choice Scarf Hydreigon helps mitigate this problem. Reckless Mienshao is devastatingly powerful but doesn't offer a ton of utility outside of a powerful High Jump Kick, since its ability to take hits is beyond lackluster. Hydreigons unique typing, ability, and serviceable natural bulk makes it a much more reliable Choice Scarf user for your team as it can be thrown at threats like Entei, non-Superpower Krookodile, or the aforementioned Rotom-H with relative impunity.

Shuca Berry over Leftovers on Empoleon (optional)

I'd hesitate on considering Mega-Beedrill a problem at this stage: both Empoleon and Gyarados are good switch ins (provided MBee doesn't have Drill Run in the case of the former) and Hydreigon outspeeds and revenge kills with any move not named U-turn. The only thing that Mega Beedrill really comes in on for free is Chestnaught (which will chip Mega Beedrill with Spiky Sheild anyways). I think a better approach would simply being more conscious when playing Mega Beedrill - it either has to come in vs Chestnaught or on the revenge kill. Use that information against your opponent in tandem with maintaining Stealth Rock, and you should notice Mega Beedrill becoming less of a threat. If it does become problematic, specifically if you find more and more Mega Beedrill running Drill Run, feel free to give Empoleon a Shuca Berry instead of Leftovers. This allows Empoleon to come in on Mega Beedril, tank a Drill Run and threaten back with Scald or Roar it away.

Hopefully these changes help! Good luck with the team!
Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Bounce

Hydreigon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- U-turn

I like the changes you made, but what about curse quagsire or Calm mind Suicune instead of Gyarados?

I think Gyarados fits the team better; the utility offered by Intimidate and it's typing gives you more than Quagmire ever could. Quagmire is really only good against stall, and borderline dead weight outside of that. Suicune is an okay option. Feel free to run CroCune if you feel Gyarados has been underwhelming. This might make Mamoswine and Krookodile a bit more of an issue however.
