NOC a nice basic game of actual mafia - game over - won by the Mafia

I don't know if it's just me, but Shubaka just rubs me the wrong way, I'll wait after more discussion until I actually vote. On the other hand I'm curious about what's REALLY going on between Empoof and DLE.
 
Just saying I'll be off to sleep and take care of business for the next 11~ hours, but feel free to ask me all the D1 questions (DAE Smogon mislynch D1)

Since we were on the topic of lying, thoughts on this article I just read and this follow up comment that puts it in more of our games context? Should our 7 VTs be leaving sudo breadcrumbs to throw off maf or would it make the game too mucky for village to understand before hard cop claims. How strong is our player bases soft claim meta? What's the potential for backfire?

I'm asking these questions also to myself, since I feel like in the past I had notoriously awful NOC play... hence the reading MU articles in my free time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Alright so you probably dont have the best of experiences with NOCs yet considering the cluster that was bulletproof lol.

When you play IRL, are there specific things you would look for when trying to figure out if someone was mafia? What were signs to you that someone was lying?

I'd be interested in having us try this. I've normally shied away from it on smogon in the past because I don't think the playerlist is experienced enough to be consistent in their peeks. This means that town members cannot scumread their town peeks unless absolutely necessary, because it either is a. removing cover or b. confusing if an info role flips and reneged on their peek. This isn't an easy ask. I've always wanted to try outing peeks though.

Would anyone be actively disinterested in doing hypothetical inspects this game? Read Empoof's article; I think it'll add some interesting direction to this game and force some level of activity by having everyone in on acting like a public inspector.
 
Actually, scratch that on the cannot scumread town peeks, I forgot both inspects are nerfed. That makes it even easier for us to hypo-claim inspections because consistency doesn't matter as much unless you're claiming a guilty.
