This is the last standard round of the tournament! If you win your match, don't announce if you're keeping or stealing a god -- it will be irrelevant in the finals. Fight hard, followers, you're nearly there.

Congrats, ChrystalFalchion and Chloe. ! You've made it to the finals. As I stated previously, this round will be a little different.

Firstly, each player has access to whatever god they started with along with every god they defeated in previous rounds. Unlike previous rounds, the player won't declare what they're using in the round, so each player's predictive skills will come into play more than randomized matchup. To save you some effort, this is what each player can use:

In the interest of fairness, so that each player has to prepare for five potential gods and five potential gods only, I'd like to ask Chloe to pick one Arceus type she's already used in previous rounds as the Arceus representative for finals and declare it in this thread before the round begins. This will allow CF to prepare for a type rather than literally every non-Uber Pokemon in the game. It also fits with the theme of using everything that got you to this round. These are your choices:

Additionally, this final round will be best of three five, so you need two three wins to become the champion. You are allowed to use any of your possible gods in any of the matches, but I recommend you build three teams so you have the potential to switch things up.

Once Chloe has made her choice, I'll make a formal post with the dramatic Arcues .gifs and esoteric psuedo-poetry you've come to expect.

I'm up for best of 5. 3 of my gods are Psychic type though...and Chloe's got Yveltal and Darkceus. This is going to be tough...

You had 3 Dark gods - I had 3 Psychic ones. It was inevitable really. But still, was a good match, glad I at least put up a decent fight. I wasn't expecting to win with Mewtwo and Skymin, but Lost Heros was right about the flying reindeer.

Hope this or Lockdown wins OMotM for October

Thanks to everyone that participated in the tournament! This is something I've being trying to get approved for a long time, and it heartens me that it was such a success. Aside from a few minor hiccups, everything went really smoothly and I felt like everyone really got into the spirit of the tour. I hope some of you stick around and continue to support Gods and Followers.
