Need to know im not insane

Hello smogon people...


My name is fernando, im from monterrey, mexico.

I was living on NYC for the last 5 years til a decide to comeback to mexico... I n my time on the Big apple i went several times to the pokemon TCG league on the rockefeller center, just below were the pokemon center use to be...

In one of my visits i was lucky that the machines on the second floor of the pokemon center were giving away pokemon that day.. two diferent kinds of seviper and one flygon.

With the flygon i have no problem, its the seviper that is driving me mad. With the jump to diamond and pearl i use my pokemon box to xfer the seviper and flygon from my pokemon saphire to pokemon emerald to clone them at will but what was my surpise at try to trade them in IRC chats and find that all the peeps said my seviper is hacked since it its described on serebii.net event pokemon list as being released at lvl 18

the seviper i got is like this...

FEMALE SEVIPER LV 30
OT.- PCNYd ID.-00224 NATURE.- SASSY
OBTAINED ON A FATEFUL ENCOUNTER AT LVL 30
ITEM.-APICOT BERRY


and i have pics taken by my wife when i was checking my game boy advance sp after get the pokemon (im standing near to the pokemon machines)

So all this is to ask if there is here another New yorker that went that day to pokemon center and get this same seviper to let me know so i can find out the way to let know the places that have this kind of list that there was a diferent seviper released on PCNY besides the lv 18 one
 
Well, you say you got it straight from the machine? You sure it wasn't a mystery gift that someone else was giving out nearby?

Nop, when they released this pokemon emerald was not even on the market yet, not firered leaf green either, in fact in the pics i have there still the pokemon ruby and saphire standies on the background..

also i get them by inserting my saphire game on the machine slot, then on the screen in front of you you the an animation of a pokeball coming your way and then the image of the pokemon you get appears from the ball, so no im not get them by mystery gift
 
I see...so if you're 100% positive you got it straight out of the machine, its legit...maybe its so old that Serebii doesn't have its information. Because if you got it right out of the machine, there can be no doubt that its real.

i know and also as i told ya i have the pics to prove it, i have no reason to lie about it or make a post in a big site as smogon to lie that i own a pokemon that nobody elses have or remember get in pcny..

i just want to put this seviper on the list so i have the support of a site that it its legit and have no problems trading or be called hacker or cheater trying to trade this seviper....
 
You can probably safely put it on a trade thread and link to this thread if anyone says "noo not true!" Serebii's inaccurate anyway.

ok, if that is what those stand for i will check it on my coffe break on job and post it as soon as possible....
 
Just out of curiosity, what are the Seviper's IVs?
Also, does she have any cool moves that only appear of event Pokes?

the iv will post it as soon i have a coffe break on my job

not it doest come with special moves, they were giving away 2 kinds of seviper and a flygon that day i only get the common seviper and the flygon, i think was like 1 every 12 insert get the rare seviper, i still dont know what moves it have, the only good thing of those two pokes i get was that they were holding 1 of the rare berrys that raise one of the stats in battle
