If IT doesn't finish top 5 this year, I'll be very upset. Who else realistically deserves it? Harden 100% and Westbrook will be a contender with all his TDs, but I can't think of anyone aside from maybe Leonard who'd deserve to be ahead of IT (Durant/Curry will steal votes off each other)

But that makes it unfair to other players who don't coast and deserve it more than he does. Someone putting player X and 1st, LeBron at 2nd, and player Y at 3rd could cost player Y the MVP award, could just be missing those extra points he would've gotten if he were 2nd. Can't just say that "oh, I know he's capable of more than what he's doing so I'll vote for him".
 
sooo I feel kinda bad for melo and would like to see him moved to a place where he can join his banana boat friends instead of trying to iso-fuckball his way into the 8th seed with this shitty ass knicks squad. I hope the cavs absolutely get destroyed in the finals to the dubs while KLove puts up goose eggs so LBJ can whine more and force Dan Gilbert to move him for melo this offseason. I really don't think that a move will be made this trade deadline since everybody's trying to lowball the knicks because of the NTC, and thankfully phil isn't going to giftwrap melo to a contender for austin fucking rivers and jamal's albatross contract. ( i hope )

That being said KLove wouldn't be a good fit on the Knicks with Porzingis but at least you can try to flip Kevin Love for something like a top 10 pick + a young role player, but I wouldn't be surprised if phil would want to keep him ugh
 
Knicks organization is trash. Top to bottom.

Your own GM talks behind your superstar's back. Your executive owner kicks out a former player. Coaching staff can't put together a cohesive unit for 5 years. Brandon Jennings, who is known for having a reputation of being an unstable player, is somehow the most consistent player on the roster right now calling out everybody.

If you're a free agent, why the hell do you go there? If you're a current player, why resign? Phil Jackson ain't shit. Melo is just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Rose played hookey.
